Special Agents From Attorney General's Office Visit GOP Poll Watcher

Attorney General, as in Bill Barr? I very much suspect NOT. I think it was Attorney General as in Josh Shapiro. Josh Shapiro is the Attorney General of The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Bill Barr doesn't have Special Agents attached to his office, to be dispatched to harass GOP poll watchers who give interviews. But I think Josh Shapiro does. Is it too much for Hate Barr First commenters to exercise a bit of discretion?

  1. Don't know what to make of this, but the PA AG trying to intimidate witnesses would be par for the course.

I would just say to any witness who is approached by such people, "Record everything."

    1. PA AG Josh Shapiro came out the day before the election predicting that Trump would lose if all the ballots were counted. A read of his tweets shows this Dem is a very nasty guy...

    2. Live in Pa. in the summer-this guy is the Pa. version of Chuck Schumer.
Nothing will get in the way of his becoming governor. Dry run for his future plans.

    3. Article contains confirmation that it was Pennsylvania state AG - Shapiro:

  2. Isn't PA about to choose its electors for Biden today? It also seems to me that Trump's attorneys are getting crushed whack a mole style in state after state.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but Trump's attorneys did not claim there was widespread fraud in PA. Instead, they claimed there were "irregularities" in the counting of the mail-in ballots. This claim got rejected.

Where do we the people stand in PA?

    1. It's always been expected that Trump would lose case after case, but that it would wind up in the SCOTUS. This should happen here, too. Not a guarantee, but how it's been foreseen.

  3. Not on topic. but, Cleveland has an excellent art. over at The Federalist summarizing the Flynn case. Excellent match to show lib family and friends that still want to tour the party line. Clear, reasonably concise, easy to understand.

    1. Should be mat'l vs match and and toe vs tour.

I swear auto-correct is so ignorant it had to have been invented by an NYT editor.

  4. I'll admit should have slowed my roll on with the source. I will however put a million dollars the GWP article said both DoJ and AG in it last night when I posted the link.

It now says *Updated* and ONLY says AG... I probably got Hoft'ed, or I'd like to THINK I wasn't that stupid at 3am last night.

I still have not received my daily briefing text updates from Barr so I'll still blame him too. đŸ˜‚

    1. It definitely said DOJ when I read it this morning around 0830. I was confused. I was pretty sure "DOJ" wouldn't send "agents" but wasn't sure where exactly to ascribe the sloppiness in the reporting.

    2. Thank you because I was feeling somewhere between nuts and seeming accusatory.

I've seen GWP both edit articles with no mention of why and flatly delete articles with no mention of why.

They like to jump the shark frequently!!

  5. Giuliani & Expert witness in Arizona hearing:
Expert shows email sent from somebody (anonymous IT staffer) to Arizona legislators describing a Democrat meeting planning 35,000 fraud votes per-Democrat-candidate to be generated by machine.
The 35,000 fraud votes-per-candidate match the Expert's data analysis.

    1. Do we have a link for that, copy of email, names? That's the same allegation Powell has repeatedly made.

    2. Here are my screen captures of the live hearing video with the email being displayed.
Sender "Brian Watson brianwatson70002@gmail.com" recipient "Criminal.Division@usdoj.gov"
Sender also forwarded email to many Arizona legislator email addresses.
Can see all that in the screen grabs.

    3. Thanks. Pretty interesting. Of course, uncorroborated.

  6. TGP is not on my go-to list anymore; too much hyperbole and exaggeration. Find myself here more than anywhere. Thanks for what you do, Mark.

  7. In a perfect world legitimate, careful news outlets would publish articles that favored our side without resorting to the kind of reporting they frequently seem to have to retract or amend. Gateway Pundit has long been considered to be a shaky source. OK to read but not to be posted/linked on forums as real news. That doesn’t mean that they sometimes don’t get things right, but their error rate seems to be going up lately.

  8. Agreed on TGP...have to read with caution. But as Bebe says, there is no actual journalism in mainstream media to do the hard work of investigating TGP stories for real and sometimes the TGP story is actually correct while being the only one reporting it.
