UPDATED: Trump Moves To Intervene In PA GOP Lawsuit

That lawsuit is the one brought by the PA Republicans, challenging the PA Supreme Court's rewriting of the State's election law. That lawsuit was brought before Justice Amy was confirmed and was rejected on a 4-4 vote, with CJ Roberts siding with the liberals. A request for an expedited rehearing was filed last week but was, once again, rejected on a 4-4 vote--rejected as to the expedited portion of the motion, not as to a possible rehearing. Justice Amy again did not participate because she had not yet assumed her Court duties. That has changed, and Justice Amy should be participating in the lawsuit going forward.

The news is that, to move this along, President Trump has filed a motion to intervene in the case, obviously on the side of the PA Republicans. The SCOTUS has ordered the Dems and PA to respond to that motion by Thursday.

According to the Washington Times:

“This is an open invitation to voters to cast their ballots after Election Day, thereby injecting chaos and the potential for gamesmanship into what had been an orderly and secure schedule of clear, bright-line deadlines,” the Republicans argued.

Mr. Trump filed a motion Wednesday to get involved in the suit, claiming that how Pennsylvania goes could decide the presidential election and that the high court should settle the conflict over the ballot extension quickly.

I assume this is the first step taken by Team Giuliani.

UPDATE: As we saw in SWC's two articles and other articles and blogs today, there are clear indicators of fraudulent turnout. Just now TGP did a little comparison of WI and MN. I'd been wondering about MN--it seemed absolutely ripe for a good Trump showing. Instead, Trump seemed to do much worse than 2016, after the states's only real metro area was absolutely trashed by Leftists. It didn't add up. And that's what TGP is saying too. Will Team Trump be showing this kind of evidence and arguing it to the SCOTUS? Multiple states all of a sudden having a spike in turnout to unheard of levels?

What is Going On? Minnesota and Wisconsin BOTH had 89%-90% Turnout — Something That Is Highly Unlikely

Two tables. The first compares turnout in various states to show just how anomalous the WI and MN turnout are:

And the second is an historical comparison of turnout in WI and MN:

Nope. Not adding up. I'd like to think the SCOTUS will have something to say if lower courts don't. It's just way to in-your-face.

  1. You need to see Project Veritas's latest Whistleblower report:

Post Office in Michigan back-dating VBMs with hand cancellations so VBMs arriving after 8 PM Nov 3 deadline could be counted.

THIS EXPLAINS WHY THEY SHUT DOWN BALLOT COUNTING -- more time for late VBMs to arrive and get back-dated so they count.

  2. Trump survived Mueller and impeachment, which still amazes me.

    SWAG

Trump expected this type of B.S.

The Resistance is over reaching through massive fraud, and the GOP historically has not fought fraud.

    Trump fights.

Trump expected this type of B.S.

Barr has been warning of voter issues.

So what did Trump do to prepare for this?

    And what of Barr?

Perhaps this be a trap Trump set, allowing the resistance to over reach. Trump has a history of doing this and discrediting his foes through their over reach.

    1. Ray, I've been wondering about that angle too. It seems incredible, and yet ... smoking people out?

I'm gonna do an update, that compares turnout rates. To me, it's a prima facie case of fraud for all to see. Full recount?

    2. If DJT holds PA, GA, & NC, and gets either NV or AZ, these other states will be moot, and thus any probes into BS there will seem less politicized, and thus carry greater weight.

  3. "fraud for all to see"

Just watched Giuliani speak about the voter fraud lawsuits.

He was saying the R observers were prohibited from actually seeing a single ballot - they were required to stand 30 feet away, over 10 hours of counting.

Unbelievable how they thought they could get away with that.

  4. Sure, it is an anomaly- the turnout- but no court is going to take this as evidence to overturn a vote. You need, at a minimum, eye witnesses to outright fraud, and better yet, a secret video of the miscreants committing the act.

  5. With the fraud I don’t think a full recount would help.

    >Full recount?

  6. With Spygate, Sessions et al, POTUS didn't see it coming. He survived, just, thanks to Devin Nunes amongst others.

With impeachment, he knew what they were capable of, but he didn't have the nuts and bolts. He survived, thanks to Jim Jordan and others.

With all this -there is no way he didn't know what was coming. It was their only play. Bill Barr's silence is a blaring alarm. We shall see how this plays out.

  7. Plenty of states with over 100% of votes. Not a g.d. thing to see here, move your as along.

    1. 150% voter turnout is merely proof of just how strongly people support socialist policies.

  8. The Wisconsin numbers are not comparing apples to oranges. The earlier years of data are vote as a percentage of eligible adults, while that 90% figure in 2020 is a percentage or registered voters. Wisconsin voter turnout was 69.5%, up slightly but in line with recent elections:
    https://worldpopulationreview.com/state-rankings/voter-turnout-by-state

Everyone is focusing on Milwaukee, but uber liberal Dane county increased the margin of voters for Dems by 50k all by themselves. It was the UW and government workers in the state who delivered Wisconsin to Biden.

  9. I wonder how much collusion there is in the Democratic voter fraud? And how high the people go that are involved in the state government.

Interesting the same tactics are being used in different states. Stop the vote count, lying about stopping the vote count for the night, not allowing gop watchers, etc.

Perhaps they are just getting the same legal advice.

My gut feeling is the number of people involved in this voter fraud is huge.

Will this be another Acorn type situation? If James Okeefe could take them down, think what he will do with Project Veritas...

  10. Quotation of the day from Steve Bannon on Mornings With Maria: “Fortune favors the bold.” If Trump is ANYTHING, he is BOLD.
Bannon laid out a series of pathways for Trump to be sworn in, including throwing the election to the House of Representatives, where the vote is one per state, and Rs control more states.
Ric Grenell filing a lawsuit against Nevada this morning.
    Trump will FIGHT.

  11. I am sure this was factored into Trump’s game-plan, but a trap by Trump? No, too clever by half.

Trump is just looking to survive. That’s a bad trap.

As I tried to explain to my oldest son who just voted in his first presidential election, most of the news and state calls for Biden are designed to get Trump to concede. For all the rhetoric by Biden to make sure “all” voted are counted, he, and the media, are making sure Biden can appear to win before he does.

    As Surber stated, 264 ain’t 270.

    1. Yes, they're trying to create an appearance, a narrative. However, that's something Trump is also good at doing. Question, who will be the Dem frontman? Biden? Pelosi--after all, the election could theoretically go to the House! Those would be very bad situations for the Dems. As Anon says above--Trump will fight.

    2. Exactly right. As Ben Rhodes helpfully explained, it is all about “the narrative.” But Trump is crafting a counter-narrative. That’s why Grenell is in Nv—to keep the Ds from getting to 270 today. This has been deliberately orchestrated to try to force Trump to concede “for the good of the country.” Tell that to the deplorables.

    3. The premature awarding of states to Biden has purely been an attempt to get the number "270" next to his name. One can imagine what follows.

    4. Ths article was linked in an article at The Hill:

      https://www.jweekly.com/2020/11/04/meet-the-jewish-democrat-at-fox-news-decision-desk-the-man-who-called-arizona-for-biden-early/

Arnon Mishkin, New York Dem political consultant/power player. Has been employed by Fox for 20 years. Works on Fox polls, writes op-ed pieces for Fox, heads up the election night Decision Desk. The man who insisted they were right in calling Arizona too early based upon what ballots were still not counted. Insisted they were mail-in votes; had to be for Biden.

    5. My sense of things is, both sides are trying to create a narrative that will shake the unity (of "moderates") w/in the other side, to force that other side to concede.
I'm starting to doubt, the the Dems can get anything likely to split "moderates" from DJT.

Whereas, I have hope, that DJT has ammo which can split moderates from Biden on this, among which could be (dare I hope) Barr/ Durham announcing big busts of the DS, and (dare I hope?) the MSM's complicity.
In this respect, I believe that time is on DJT's side.
If so, expect the Dems to soon start throwing Hail Marys.

    6. Time is on DJT's side, unless a call of another state for BiteMe gets the MSM to scream for DJT to fold "for the good of the country".
This possibility makes it important, for Barr to do something to discredit that drift.
Appointing a mail-fraud probe SC could quite put the Dems/MSM on their heels.

  12. Mark, care to speculate about what Barr is doing?

    1. That's easy. He's thinking, trying to determine what his role can and should be--as opposed to the obvious roles for Trump's lawyers. He will look to violations of federal election laws and take action where that appears to be required. He may also consider intervening in lawsuits as defender of the interests of the federal government.

His role as AG is totally different that Giuliani's role as Trump's lawyer. Nor is he a partisan pundit.

  13. Agree.
    >However, that's something Trump is also good at doing.

Trump is controlling the media cycle, and everyday, he is increasing the awareness of the brazen voter stealing that is going on.

My wife reminded me of the debate question to Trump about him conceding. Hmm, just like George Stephanapholous question to Romney on contraception, that was the start of a coordinated reputation hit job by the press and Democrats on Romney.

How long have the Democrats been planning this vote stealing? Preparing the narrative of Trump should concede “for the good of the country.”

I'm very disturbed it appears the Democrats seem to have been setting this trap for Trump for a while. And creating the facts on the ground, changing the laws. This feels VERY PLANNED, and months in the making. Gut feeling the Democrats were not going to allow a Trump victory as happened in 2016, and have taken steps starting a while ago, to prevent it through voter fraud.

Andrew McCarthy, writing at NR and whining this morning on Fox, putting down Preident Trump’s having made his 3 AM statements and continuing to be involved. “Political”… Believes PDJT should quietly let the legal process take care of the matter and not risk offending (judges) who might be involved…. I don’t agree. I believe the President is trying to protect the country against fraudulent elections. It is about him, but it is a larger issue...

    3. "..and months in the making."

More like years in the making. They have been running small experiments for several cycles to find the best methodology. The Dem's have strategy seminars and tactical training sessions for it. It doesn't matter who's running, really. The point is to never allow a repeat of the Serf Uprising of '16.
