Are The Calls For A New Covid Shutdown Part Of The Election Plan?

I just thought I'd ask. For the last few weeks Dems across the country have been flogging the Covid Hysteria for all they're worth. Well, let me rephrase that. They've been flogging it really hard. And now today there are rumors that Michigan will go into a deep lockdown soon. That will certainly hamper recounting. Is that the goal? Or is the goal to keep people from congregating in large numbers? Or both? Or more?

I for one wouldn't be surprised, because for a variety of reasons I don't buy the Covid numbers that we've been hearing. When you hear "news" stories lumping "cases" with "probables" you know that the numbers being generated are even dodgier than just the usual "positive test" results. There is currently an extreme lack of transparency in the information that's being pushed out.

Have I descended into rank conspiracy theory? Hey, nothing wrong with that. If there's one thing the last four years have taught us it's that it's high time that Americans got used to the reality that conspiracies actually exist here in the USA, and at very high levels.

Did the ChiComs release that bug on a timeline which put the elections here into a target-zone of maximum Covid impact?

    1. It's not impossible, but we don't need to go there.

Think about the summer of riots in honor of George Floyd. Palettes of bricks do not appear out of thin air. Nationwide riots do not spontaneously "break out." It was planned in advance. All that the planners needed was a suitable video, and those appear quite frequently. It wouldn't even surprise me if they had already bought the golden casket. All they needed was Mr. X to go in it, and rioting could start. They tried out "the jogger" and that didn't excite the focus groups, but the Floyd video was almost tailor-made for them.

They're smart. Video of criminals confronting police is a regular occurrence. AND: so are pandemics. You can have all the pieces in place, all the scripts written, all the assets ready, and then hype the hell out of whatever virus comes along, while censoring any dissent about the seriousness of the threat. America's enemies are smart enough to do it. Are they too moral to do anything so evil? The question answers itself.

  2. Since not hitting the fox website anymore, been looking for other news sources. I am starting to really like www.citizenfreepress.com. Impressed with Newsmax.com hadn't really went to the site in 15 years... a lot better.

  3. I think there is a real, actual increase in cases. It was bound to happen--mass migration of young, asymptotic college age students moving to campus, followed by more time indoors up north as the weather gets colder. Anecdotally, at least, I know several more people who recently became infected than I knew during the early rise in cases.

I think lockdowns in places like Michigan primarily serve to stroke the ego of those inclined to be dictators if only the stupid plebes would let themselves be dictated to. I don't think it is anything more than that.

They do indeed. And one reason they do is because of detestable things like this:

"US Justice Dept. investigation into non-prosecution deal with Jeffrey Epstein in 2008 ends with no action against prosecutors who oversaw the Epstein deal."

    No consequence.

  5. Yes, I believe so. As for the planners, they are other than Biden. He is along for the ride. For the Dems, Covid is now about control.

    1. I agree that he's a tool, but I'm not willing to let him off the hook.

He has enough lucidity left to know full well what is going on and a willingness to be the face of it all.

    2. No one is leaving Biden off the hook. But he is not leading this all-out effort. He agrees with it, may benefit from it. But is not the brains behind it.

  6. Dan Jennings of Boulder City, NV, wrote this in May? Prescient? Or just knows how the Dems operate? My own take on conspiracies used to be in a cartoon poster on my office wall: “Just because you’re paranoid doesn’t mean they’re not out to get you…”

Virus was scam to get political control

After three years of historic economic growth, record unemployment and a proliferating middle-class lifestyle, the anti-Trump cadre, without missing a beat, migrated from their failed three-year impeachment circus and transformed a pandemic into a gigantic economic demolition derby.
The emergency shelter-in-place protocol and other measures were initiated to prevent overburdening hospitals and medical professionals. We accomplished that because the majority of Americans love their country and obeyed the medical experts.
However, it seems as though many of these medical experts, and others, want to extend the protocols into next year. How convenient for those folks wanting to steal the 2020 presidential election, having miserably failed several times to overturn the 2016 election.
It has been two months now, and some governors keep moving the goalposts farther away from normalcy.

More here from Jennings -a retired Army captain and a retired BCPD lieutenant. Read what he wrote. I think he got it!

  7. In this excellent video, a Detroit poll-watcher describes how COVID concerns were used to harass and exclude Republican poll-watchers.

  8. Increased Covid results seem to be due to more testing, as the testing has issues.

You are not seeing a huge bump in deaths.

Very suspicious the timing. Your idea makes sense as much as anything.

It may also prevent pro Trump rallies.

I am seeing more recent restrictions in Blue States, even ones not being investigated for voter issues, such as Ca, NY, and Illinois.

    1. Here in my Deep Blue neck of the woods, at the same time that high schools are shutting down again parents in VERY liberal suburbs are organizing car parades in protest--they want the schools open. You hafta wonder, what did these knuckleheads think they were voting for? It's not as if the Dems made any secret about more shutdowns.

  9. I keep spreadsheets of the data across the US and for the individual states. It is hard to say if the recent increase is real or not- the problem is the PCR test has a high sensitivity at the cycles they are running it- at 40 cycles of replication, you could detect 10 dead strands of Covid RNA. I do think this level of cycling is deliberate and was specifically chosen to boost the case numbers- we weren't doing this in the Spring.

The other thing I notice, dealing with the data updates every day is that the state health departments cycle themselves through death certificate matching. What they are doing is comparing death certificates to the COVID positive master list- anyone who died any time in the last 9 months and had a positive test at any point is called a COVID death. Georgia's department did this last Tuesday, election day- adding 480 deaths, almost all of whom died months ago, and likely from something other than COVID. Alabama did one this Tuesday, Missouri does one about every 10 days, etc. Almost none of these are really COVID deaths since they would have otherwise been caught at the time of death because they would have died in the hospital while positive with COVID.

So, in short, yes- it is part of a plan to drive Trump from office. Yes, it will probably be used as an excuse to not recount anything. I think the plan was to shut down election day, but they couldn't quite get the numbers up high enough because to get a positive test, you actually have to find someone who will allow you to take swab, so they mandate college students get tested regularly or get kicked out of class and the dorms.

Here are spreadsheets I keep. The first is just the US overall data. At the bottom you can find the various graphs I use to track it- things like case fatality rate, cumulative and daily positive test rate, 7 day averages of new cases, tests, and deaths, crude 1st derivatives of cases, tests, deaths, and a 2nd derivative new cases. I also have graph down there that normalizes new cases for testing increases- I normalize at 500K tests/day- the Spring outbreak hasn't been surpassed yet.

    1. I agree Yancey. The one thing you left out is that there's money for the states in boosting their "cases". And that's how they describe the positive tests (with all the false positives as well as positives one fragments that aren't infectious). They call them "cases" to make us think these are all actual sick people. Also, many states encourage everyone to get tested, often multiple times. IMO, unless you're working in a nursing home (like a sister of mine) nobody without symptoms should be tested.

    2. I've been having some dental work which has required five visits to the dentist since June. The dentist requires a negative test prior to each visit. So I have to admit I am responsible for five additional (negative) tests.
