America is in a pretty unique constitutional situation at present. However it turns out, whoever occupies the White House, I just can't see anything going back to something resembling normal. Nor should it. To complicate matters, the crisis will be deepened by challenges to the Dem narrative of a new normal--which increasingly looks like the bad old normal of the Carter years, but worsened by an out of control and divided Left.
The Covid Regime will be increasingly challenged in the coming months. The CDC is now openly admitting that the gene therapy injections have only a very limited period of effectiveness. This is confirmed from the Israeli data, where the government is warning of "mortal danger" to induce people to get "boosted" after only 5 months. Serious "breakthrough" cases in Israel--cases of infection by new variants after the gene therapy has lost protective strength--are multiplying rapidly and are a clear majority of cases. How long will it be before the general public tumbles to the reality of ADE--that it's the gene therapies that are inducing the new variants and leaving the vaxxed with less protection. People will realize that sooner rather than later. There will be a lot of unhappy people.
Here in the US, the narrative or rareness is being challenged on multiple fronts.
In LA we're learning that no less than 30% of new cases--mostly the Dread Delta--are "breakthrough" cases, and the trend of breakthrough cases--months before the boost will be available--is steeply upward. 30% and climbing just isn't rare, even if we concede that rarity is a relative concept. People will understand this, and will resent the lies that they bought into. Trust is being eroded.
Also, slowly but surely, word is getting out about side effects. In this WaPo tweet we see another relative concept substituting for "rare": "uncommon." Don't worry about the inevitable attempts to shape the narrative; just realize that this is coming out in the super mainstream Bezos Post:
U.S. officials are reviewing the possibility that the Moderna coronavirus vaccine is linked to a higher risk of myocarditis in younger adults than previously thought, according to two people who emphasized the side effect still probably remains uncommon https://t.co/7qL19rE9t1— The Washington Post (@washingtonpost) August 20, 2021
“There might be a 2.5 times higher incidence of myocarditis in those who get the Moderna vaccine compared with Pfizer's vaccine.” Any risk at all for young people under 17 is unacceptable https://t.co/vz1REfaaj8— Sue Cook (@SueC00K) August 20, 2021
This is coming on top of a big push to inject young people, as well as the ongoing uproar over government schools generally--the Covid masking regime, the probability of continued shutdowns, and the CRT controversies.
Put all that into the general mix, which also includes accelerating inflation, continued sky high crime numbers, and a border crisis that can no longer be kept secret. Any one of those taken singly would be a regime crisis. Taken together and joined to the Covid crisis in all its multifarious ramifications and I believe a crisis in trust in our establishment generally is at hand--but focused specifically, as it must be, on the Left that its doubling down on the policies that gave us all this.
And now we have a regime and a White House occupant that is being revealed not only to the American public but to the world as a bad joke, a hoax president who is an object of derision. One way or another I suspect we will see regime change coming to DC. This, in my mind, goes beyond impeachment. It's a regime collapse and a scramble to shore up the entire establishment that foisted this illegitimate regime on the nation. This morning I saw polling numbers stating that fully 17% of Biden voters say they wouldn't have voted for him had they known what the MSM hid from them. And now with the Afghan debacle ... In the best of times recovery of credibility after that screw up would be a Herculean task, but these are far from being the best of times.
Even if Zhou is allowed to continue living in the White House (which he has once again abandoned in the midst of this crisis), regime change will have to occur--someone will need to be held accountable. Major figures in the National Security apparatus will need to be sacrificed. If not, all trust will be lost and the regime will spiral downward--there can be no prospect of regaining its footing.
If Zhou is shown the door--whether by resignation or the 25th Amendment--the crisis will still continue, for several reasons. The Left has attempted to rule by steamrolling and demonizing all dissent. Now they will need cooperation from the Right. Whether or not the GOP is able to present a united front, the calls for a change of course will grow and will need to be somehow satisfied. Again, I doubt this can happen quickly.
The wild card in all this, of course, is Kama Sutra. The Dems know they have a disaster on their hands. But for that realization it's conceivable that Zhou would already have been shown the door--what with multiple MSM regime stalwarts (NYT, The Atlantic, etc.) savaging him. Formation of a new administration will be a prolonged and difficult process, and such an administration would have just about zero political capital and would be widely regarded as illegitimate. One misstep--which is inevitable with Kama Sutra--and you're into constitutional crisis territory again.
It's even conceivable that we will see the idea of a national unity government floated, given the very evenly divided Congress. VP DeSantis, anyone? I don't personally favor that approach by the GOP, but I toss that out to illustrate that virtually no eventuality can be totally discounted.
UPDATE: Speaking of things like coups, legitimacy, and credibility, who thinks the military would be in a position now to be a national savior? At any level of influence? Their full on embrace of the furthest reaches of the sexual revolution shot their credibility, and now they've forfeited any claims to competence. Look for more revelations of malfeasance and corruption. Their further embrace of the coup against Trump--thus, their endorsement of the coup and current occupant of the White House--undermines their influence as well.

Always have to be super-skeptical of The Gateway Pundit, but his lead post at the moment is about digital encoding by printers onto ballots. That Pulitzer guy is saying that this is the concrete evidence that will be coming out shortly, with a report expected today to be delivered to the AZ Senate.ReplyDelete
That sort of proof, if real and comes out in an AZ audit, will be very hard to spin by the Dems. If large numbers of illegitimate ballots are found to be Biden votes, I cannot see how this would not turn the tide on the election results.
Again, always cautious until there is something real. We've been waiting a long time for this AZ report, and the AZ Senate is expected to review the report before deciding on what gets released publicly. I'm looking forward to the AZ results either way--either they hold up the results, in which case the GOP can take steps to correct from Trump, or they confirm election fraud, in which case we can extract our political price from the Dems for their actions.
I read that last night and it's pretty fascinating. Time will tell.Delete
I’ve already read the spin on the microdots: “you morons, that’s just the checksum on the ballot - it was proven months ago.”Delete
Lee Smith writes on the Durham investigation:ReplyDelete
Recent media reports point obliquely to significant developments in John Durham’s special counsel investigation. He’s using a grand jury to subpoena documents and witness testimony regarding the FBI’s illegal spying operation against Donald Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign. And now stories in the Wall Street Journal and Washington Post say Durham may be looking to make criminal charges against “lower-level FBI agents” as well as outside sources who passed false information to federal law enforcement.
If that’s accurate, the latter category could include political operatives, foreign spies, big-name Beltway lawyers, journalists, and computer experts. But current and former government officials say the reports seem intended to shape the narrative on behalf of those Durham may really have in his crosshairs—senior FBI officials, including former Acting Director Andrew McCabe.
As might be expected, Lee Smith carries his commentary/analysis somewhat beyond what we’ve seen in the recent rather vague news reports on Durham.
Durham better hurry up. The statute of limitations will expire--for most violations he's said to be looking at--around November. I can't believe that he couldn't have made more progress while Trump was still in office. Using a GJ is simply SOP and shouldn't be considered evidence of progress or lack thereof.Delete
Durham isn't happening. Those are just hopes and dreams. Democrats never have to fear facing justice.Delete
Yes, you've summarized the problem exactly, Mark.ReplyDelete
As to Constitutional crises, here's another aspect that will necessarily be tested in 14 months: can elections solve any of the absolute abyss into which we've fallen?
Until Trump's election, the Criminal Syndicate was more or less content to at least pay some heed to Constitutional norms and rules. Yes, they have been steadily eating away at them and undermining them whenever possible since Wilson and FDR, but since 2016, we've seen the Syndicate's factions increasingly throw all restraints aside.
So here we are now with the gangsters faced with their biggest challenge ever. They may very well decide to openly chuck the Constitution in the name of [fill in blank] and start reordering the government and laws as they see fit--- ie without even a pretense of procedure or constitutional order.
That's not to say they wouldn't still mouth certain platitudes about democracy and protecting the Constitution but they would otherwise jettison the forms and resort to a kind of oligarchic dictatorship.
And if this is where we end up, elections are wholly inadequate and irrelevant. And then what?
Legitimacy is an issue that's only becoming more acute.Delete

Never underestimate the genius of Republicans in Congress to sell us out.ReplyDelete
In the midst of this crisis it's entirely possible that Mitch, Lindsey, and Kevin will form some grand unity bloc with Democrats in order to waive through all sorts of unconstitutional measures deemed necessary to avert "catastrophe."
Yup - as much as I doubt they would ever be smart enough to do so, I still think that they should steadfastly refuse to remove Biden via 25th if it comes to that. And I would not be surprised if he/Jill refuse to resign.Delete
Tentatively, my view, too.Delete
Niner: On the general theme of Republican leadership perfidy, I couldn't agree more. Only a fool wouldn't be worried they'll find a way to serve their America-last paymasters (whoever they are) and stab the country in the back once again. Oh, and like you said, yank the Democrats out of the fire in the process.Delete
I worked for one of those IT vendors for 22 years and although I wasn't in the printing products division, I was aware of the anti-counterfeiting technologies added to color laser printers to thwart knuckleheads that thought they could print their own money supply. It's been around for a long time - look up steganography.ReplyDelete
If ballots were printed on a printing press, you likely wouldn't have this capability and would have to rely on watermarks, special paper, or other security techniques. However, if they were stupid enough to use any vendor color laser printer, my ribs will be hurting from the laughter. I watched the short vid from Jovan Pulitzer and if I could guess just from that video, they have the goods and it could get interesting very soon. The real question is how hard and ultimately successful will socialist media be able to suppress this and if true, we does it go from there???
Starting to wonder now if a suspension of Constitutional order isn't what all of 2020-21 has been designed to effectuate? If you add up the Scamdemic, the Fake-surrection of J6, the gene therapy injection crisis, the Afghanistan collapse, the Arizona audit crisis, the border crisis...the CRT, crime wave, refugee explosion...am i forgetting more? They seems intended to create an atmosphere that will allow our beloved politicians to join uniparty hands and declare a mega emergency to justify a, dare we say, Reset?ReplyDelete
who knows but what the bad guys won't depose alzheimer Joe not really in favor VP round heels but in favor of the individual they tap as the new VP under her -- that person is the person the bad guys intend to install as the president, if a few supine GOP RINOS confirm -- the new VP, having been confirmed, would, by hook or by crook, be elevated over Harris as the new Pres, to rule for the balance of the current term and to run vs Trump/Desantis/whoeverReplyDelete
Wheels within wheels.Delete
I have thought for a while that they would assassinate Biden and pin it on a white supremacist.
But this is cleaner, in a way. Assassinate Biden's standing with the people (such as it was), usher in the wildly incompetent and unlikable Kama Sutra, get their guy in the pipeline, manufacture some more crises, deep six the constitution. Done.
They have plenty of time.
I would point out you forgot Murder Hornets. ;0)Delete
Don’t think the Dems are too anxious to move Que Mala into the Oval; she’s the tie breaker in the Senate. They lose her & Cocaine Mitch pretty much takes over.ReplyDelete
And don’t see how Bi Den can avoid a total collapse; who’s going to believe/trust in anything he says?
His credibility is shot & can’t recover.
Here is what I think, for what it is worth: 1) The Afghanistan calamity was a purposeful Democrat / deep state setup of Biden to bring him down. 2) Assuming Biden is forced to resign or is removed and Kamala becomes POTUS, a new VP will be needed. As others have noted, until a new one is confirmed there is a 50-50 split and the Senate is frozen, so getting a new VP won't take long. 3) The Dems will nominate a VP who they intend to run for President in 2024 (they don't want to run Kamala). Confirming the VP will not be a problem, as the RINO caucus (Romney, Collins, Murkowsky, et. al.) will vote for whoever the Dems put up and all they need is a majority of votes in each chamber. The new VP will effectively act as President, even if not officially.ReplyDelete
Fun exercise (we'll, an interesting one anyway): Who will the DNC choose as the new VP? The Canadian Obama has already voted for Hillary, I guess.
"Who will the DNC choose as the new VP?"Delete
And the GOP senate will confirm Hillary? Political suicide? There are roughly ten thousand valid reasons they could present to just say: No.
"Confirming the VP will not be a problem, as the RINO caucus... will vote for *whoever* the Dems put up...."Delete
Only if they're hell-bent on secession/ civil war.
They'd have a better chance of avoiding such results, by pushing Warren, Tulsi, or even Bernie (over Hillary).
> Political suicide?Delete
When has that ever stopped the eGOP.
Well, I don't believe it is in the realm of possibility that they would nominate Hillary. I threw in the note about Trudeau as a joking aside but should have made that clear. That said, I will not be surprised in the least to see one or more of the RINO contingent vote to approve the Dems' nominee.Delete
Although I have been genuinely surprised that 20 other outrages did not result in mass civil unrest, nominating Hillary might actually be the one that finally got the social media warrior class off the couch and in the streets.Delete
Sounds fanciful, but a few more bad turns in the economy, problems with terrorism, law and order and a market crash could set up things where those who considered it their sacred duty to overlook election irregularities so as to preserve the system might now feel impelled to overturn those election results so as to preserve the system. Those involved will be tripping all over themselves to redeem their credibility and position. All this could happen sooner than anyone thinks. Can't wait to see the media coming out in favor of Trump.ReplyDelete
Stranger things have happened. In just the last couple years, even. Imagine Mitch braying for a 50-state audit and decerts! You'll know your schtick has jumped the shark then.Delete

Just saw this: https://thedcpatriot.com/not-worth-the-risk-big-pharma-panicking-covid-vaccines-will-not-get-fda-approval-by-sept-30-deadline/ReplyDelete
Anyone want to guess if it's approved before 10/1?
"If Pfizer can’t get FDA approval, then all the countries they have contracts with can walk away and be free of a vaccine that doesn’t work anyway, and who no new people are being convinced to take. If you wanted it, you got it, if you were waiting to see if it works and if it had negative effects…then you’re definitely not getting it now. Their only hope now is to suppress all the negative effects and everyone who is against taking it. These are things we’ve always suspected, but now know for sure because someone accidentally leaked the contract Pfizer has with all the other countries."
Alex Berenson's latest for pay stack is saying that Big Pharma is in panic mode.Delete
I guess it's time to pony up to a substack sub.Delete
Given the craziness as well as all the phony studies out of the CDC lately, I'm betting they do approve it shortly unless they can't keep the lid on it on the drop in efficacy since they seem to have a handle on shutting down the injury reporting. I'll stop with the cynical and just say fingers crossed for the good guys.
Yes indeed, they lack pieces of vital knowledge, see Denninger today, in "Simply Put: **** YOU":ReplyDelete
< ... the immunity built from natural infection is conserved across the various epitopes of the virus in all cases, because the *"N"* portion of the virus, which has to remain more-or-less intact for it to be able to be a virus, forms the backbone and *bulk of the immune* response built following natural infection.
This is not true for *any* of the vaccines, it was a critical error in what we did, and it is why we are now seeing escape.
It is not breakthrough folks, it is *escape*, due to *mismatch* between the coded antibodies and circulating virus, and it will both continue and accelerate, as the match inexorably continues to *degrade*, between what circulates and the original "wild type" out of Wuhan, which is what's coded in ALL the jabs, and which is long extinct.
What's worse is that, if OAS or ADE really come out to play on top of it, then if you have not been *naturally* infected and have been jabbed, you are in for a world of ****, if you get challenged by the virus in the wild.
Even very, very small enhancement percentages from ADE-style reactions, can completely overwhelm any sort of treatment possibility at all.
We do not yet know if this is happening, as we are deliberately *not autopsying* and investigating cases, where someone was vaccinated, got infected anyway, and then rapidly crashed, going from being moderately ill, to in an ICU or dead within 72 hours.
There are multiple reports of this happening already.... >
The end of KD's post today:ReplyDelete
"If it turns out, that said person did in fact build a proper immune response, then these cases are *either OAS or ADE-enhanced* disease, and while this outcome is clearly not universal in those who got jabbed, if it is happening even once in a while, we had better figure it out right ****ing now, or there is going to be a *pile of dead* bodies this fall and winter, and it will be the direct responsibility of those who advocated for, and in fact are trying to, in many cases, FORCE mass-jabbing of the population, that caused it."
So.....this sudden rush to approve Pfizer's 'fauxine' by Monday seems somewhat suspicious, no?
Or is the NYT misinformed?
