I hope you don't have any doubts that Covid is a bio-engineered coronavirus, a joint project of the Chinese and US governments. Now, both of those governments are humongous bureaucracies, so obviously the components that were responsible could be narrowed down to a relatively few institutions within those governments. In fact, the responsible parties could be narrowed down to relatively few individuals--starting with Tony Fauci, since he provided the funding, and nothing of this sort happens without funding. It's fine to blame the Chinese, but let's be real--the US is very much to blame as well. Moreover, the coverup of Covid origins--which continues to this day, despite recent revelations--has also been a joint project. A lot of big money interests in the US are implicated.
As Karl Denninger notes today (So You Knew, You Cheated, And It Killed Millions):
Don't give me any of this bull**** about how we -- we being people in our government including the CDC, NIH and others -- didn't know either. We did know. In late November and early December. There were reports of the lab being shut down and cell service interrupted along with deaths from atypical pneumonia. Our government knew. What's to determine now is exactly who knew both inside and outside the US, when did they know and what did they intentionally block or divert attention from that can plausibly be tied to the deaths that occurred.
The relatives and loved ones of those who died as a result of this stupidity are likely to want blood and if they do they should get it. This is a mass-slaughter comparable in impact to a genocide and should be treated accordingly up and down the line.
Read that last sentence again. Does that give you some idea of why the US is resolutely covering up Covid origins--still? Yes, this is about China but, No, it's not just about China.
By the way, Denninger points out something interesting that I hadn't been previously aware of:
In addition Fauci's wife presumably authorized [the grants to the Wuhan Lab] too, as she runs Bioethics at the NIH. When is she going to be called before Congress to testify, complete with subpoenaed records, as to what she signed off on and on what basis?
Now, if you want to know about the science behind the knowledge that Covid is in actual fact a bioengineered virus, consider this right up front. Lots of scientists knew right away that this was a lab virus--Nobelist David Baltimore, whom we've cited, told his wife that the Furin cleavage in Covid was "a smoking gun." Many other virologists came to the same conclusion. Andrea Widburg points this out (Dr. Fauci really likes gain of function research):
Just yesterday, David Asher, a former State Department employee during the Trump administration, stated on Fox that the odds of COVID being natural were de minimus:
In fact, I had viral statisticians at one of our national labs calculate the odds of this evolving in nature and it was like 1 in 13 million and they later revised it to around 1 in 13 billion.
How could those viral statisticians be so sure? You can read all about that at Zerohedge, in a lengthy post that draws heavily on an article in the Daily Mail (UK):
Virologists Say Genetic "Fingerprints" Prove COVID-19 Man-Made, 'No Credible Natural Ancestor'.
"No credible natural ancestor" means that anyone who tries to tell you that Covid occurred in nature as a "jump" from a bat or a pangolin in a wet market to human beings is either 1) full of sh*t or 2) lying to you.
Those two world class virologists--"Angus Dalgleish - best known for creating the world's first 'HIV vaccine', and Norwegian virologist Dr. Birger Sørensen"--feature at the beginning of the Zerohedge piece. The two conducted an analysis of the Covid virus last year and
the pair discovered "unique fingerprints" in the form of "six inserts" created through gain-of-function research at the Wuhan Institute of Virology in China.
They also conclude that "SARS-Coronavirus-2 has "no credible natural ancestor" and that it is "beyond reasonable doubt" that the virus was created via "laboratory manipulation."
Last year, Sørensen told Norwegian broadcaster NRK that COVID-19 has properties which have 'never been detected in nature,' and that the United States has 'collaborated for many years on coronavirus research through "gain of function" studies with China.
The paper detailing their months-long "forensic analysis," which looked back at experiments done at the Wuhan Institute of Virology between 2002 and 2019, is set to be published in the scientific journal Quarterly Review of Biophysics Discovery.
That should make interesting reading! In the meantime, the Daily Mail has some interesting things to tell us about what the two virologists discovered. This excerpt, lifted from Zerohedge, will demonstrate just how far beyond reasonable doubt their conclusions are. It will also serve as a reminder of how culpable the US is on the international stage for what has happened to the entire world.
Digging through archives of journals and databases, Dalgleish and Sørensen pieced together how Chinese scientists, some working in concert with American universities, allegedly built the tools to create the coronavirus.
Much of the work was centered around controversial 'Gain of Function' research – temporarily outlawed in the US under the Obama administration.
Gain of Function involves tweaking naturally occurring viruses to make them more infectious, so that they can replicate in human cells in a lab, allowing the virus's potential effect on humans to be studied and better understood.
Dalgleish and Sørensen claim that scientists working on Gain of Function projects took a natural coronavirus 'backbone' found in Chinese cave bats and spliced onto it a new 'spike', turning it into the deadly and highly transmissible SARS-Cov-2.
One tell-tale sign of alleged manipulation the two men highlighted was a row of four amino acids they found on the SARS-Cov-2 spike.
In an exclusive interview with DailyMail.com, Sørensen said the amino acids all have a positive charge, which cause the virus to tightly cling to the negatively charged parts of human cells like a magnet, and so become more infectious.
But because, like magnets, the positively charged amino acids repel each other, it is rare to find even three in a row in naturally occurring organisms, while four in a row is 'extremely unlikely,' the scientist said.
'The laws of physics mean that you cannot have four positively charged amino acids in a row. The only way you can get this is if you artificially manufacture it,' Dalgleish told DailyMail.com.
Their new paper says these features of SARS-Cov-2 are 'unique fingerprints' which are 'indicative of purposive manipulation', and that 'the likelihood of it being the result of natural processes is very small.'
'A natural virus pandemic would be expected to mutate gradually and become more infectious but less pathogenic which is what many expected with the COVID-19 pandemic but which does not appear to have happened,' the scientists wrote.
'The implication of our historical reconstruction, we posit now beyond reasonable doubt, of the purposively manipulated chimeric virus SARS-CoV-2 makes it imperative to reconsider what types of Gain of Function experiments it is morally acceptable to undertake.
Zerohedge then goes on to cite extensively from an earlier article in the Daily Telegraph (UK) in which scientists from around the world support those findings. Consider what two of those scientists have to say regarding the now famous Furin cleavage:
Dr. [Ronen] Shemesh. "If I was trying to engineer a virus strain with a higher affinity and infective potential to humans, I would do exactly that: I would add a Furin Cleavage site directly at the original less effective and more cell specific cleavage site."
Flinders University Professor Nikolai Petrovsky found last year either "a remarkable coincidence or a sign of human intervention" within COVID-19 telling the Telegraph that COVID-19 is "exquisitely adapted to humans."
Right. A bat virus that is "exquisitely adapted to humans."
Zerohedge concludes with this telling paragraph:
Keep in mind - reporting any of this last year was punishable by social media banishment, demonetiziation, and hit-piece articles from propagandists peddling CCP talking points.
American exceptionalism on steroids. Or on a Chinese virus.
J Dyer reports:ReplyDelete
"...LU reported in February 2020, construction of the BSL4 lab was completed about three years earlier (2017), and marked in a ceremony with the Wuhan Institute of Virology’s French partner, Mérieux, in January 2015. (Mérieux did most of the construction, and was a Clinton Global Initiative partner among other distinctions."
Clintons again - is there anywhere they don't have their dirty fingers?
"The lab’s completion in 2015 occurred just months before the biotech firm WuXi AppTec, which was then U.S.-based and had been traded on the NYSE since 2007, was taken private in 2015 by a consortium consisting of a Who’s Who of CCP “princelings” and shifted its headquarters to Wuhan. WuXi AppTec now reportedly works with the WIV on biotechnology – and, having been taken private and removed from the NYSE, is no longer under corporate regulation by U.S. federal agencies."
There has got to be a massive class action suit against the CDC / NIH in this somewhere.ReplyDelete
> This is a mass-slaughter comparable in impact to a genocide and should be treated accordingly up and down the line.ReplyDelete
And this is why the coverup. Because it IS comparable to a genocide, and if China is openly revealed to be responsible, someone might expect something to be done about it.
Don't kid yourself. China is not solely responsible--and I have no reason to minimize China's responsibility. The US is jointly responsible with China, and that's why the coverup has such power--the two biggest economies and militaries in the world combine to conceal the truth and to let millions die. While making mega bucks for their ruling classes. As Karl Denninger said yesterday, Everybody knows.Delete
Yes and no. It's complicated.
Let's deal with culpability.
1. On the US side, no doubt now that the initial impetus for this execrable research came from Fauci and Friends in the US government starting in the Obama Admin at least. The research supposedly stopped in 2014 or 2015 at which point it continued surreptitiously in Wuhan with the connivance of the CCP and the Fauzis.
2. I will posit that other players are deeply involved in all this. It wasn't simply a Fauzi obsession with virus research propelling this. Big Pharma and Big Government interests were undoubtedly behind it. Global reset types too, probably. I.e., the blame is far flung.
3. China. Unlike the US as yet, China is a police state where nothing happens without at least tacit govt approval and usually only to the extent that it serves the PLA and Party directly. Whatever the Fauzis and Pharma thought was going on at Wuhan, the CCP damn well knew and intended the research for military bioweapon use. That's a different level of culpability. What Fauzis did seems to have been almost covert, esp. viz the Trump Admin. Again, not absolved but a different level of culpability.
4. So much for origins. All of this would be a scandal and a round of firings for the Fauzis if not for one thing: the CCPs intentional spread of the virus in December and January to the rest of the world via international flights out of Wuhan (while locking down domestic travel). This is a level of culpability beyond the original funding we can pin on even the Fauzis. Yes, the US through the Fauzis, were enablers but the decision to weaponize the outbreak with international travel was a Xi decision (although we can't eliminate the possibility that Xi had some conspirators in the US desperate to see Trump gone).
5. But then we are faced with the response of US government officials who appear to have covered up the escape of the virus from the lab and actively participated in promoting the lie of a natural virus which undoubtedly sent researchers off on a wild goose chase to find treatments etc...Another level of culpability.
6. But it's more complicated than that. Consider the worldwide reaction. Why were governments all over the world so compliant and unquestioning in this virus lie, to the point of criminalizing anyone who questioned it or the hare brained reactions? It suggests that there was some level of guilt or complicity by many if not most of these other nations.
With all this genocidal behavior it's hard to know how to or where to bring justice. There is no, present forum i can see up to the task. All I can imagine is some military tribunal that can judge and punish the wrongdoers in the US and then turn our wrath on the CCP and any other international criminals. But that is a bizarre world to imagine.
A year ago you would be censored for saying anything about this. Banned from social media and probably fired from your job.ReplyDelete
Anyone believe that the Virus getting outside the Wuhan lab to cause millions of deaths and destroying the American economy in the run up to the 2020 presidential election was ‘accidental?’ReplyDelete
I think people both over think and over simplify this like this.
I don't think there was a massive consparicy to releases biological threat to overtake a US election.
I think a flock of morons I'm China incompetently let this get out after being enabled by the US funding research that the US keen they couldn't legally do within the US borders.
What happened after that was what always happens with Government... Never let a good crisis go to waste. From that point forward you get exploitation after exploitation.
It's often said that complete incompetence looks very much like corrupted conspiracy. If we avoid the desire to intentionally try to plot out an evil ploy and take stupidity for what it is we will get to the truth much faster.
In this case, even if it turns out to be complete ignorance that was simply exploited the liability and burden of responsibility doesn't change.
From there you can factual unwind the chain of events that transpired for what they were.
All consparicies contain truth, but to factually prove them out they have to be taken as is... Not as we may wish them to be.
In normal times, devil, I'd agree with you.Delete
These are NOT normal times.
To believe as you do requires almost an insane amount of blind faith in sheer, stupid luck. Under your incompetence theory, it just accidentally happened at just the exact, right time that a bioweapon engineered to be highly infectious but highly selective in its lethality somehow just happened to get released from the lab and in a way that ensured its rapid spread and at a time when China and the US Oligarchy were on the ropes with Trump beating them senselss and every indication that Trump would keep it up for another 4 years.
Now I'm not saying that the relase of the virus and how it played out in 2020 was all carefully orchestrated and preplanned with a council of evildoers in some island fortress and a mini me, but the level of coordination, timing, infectiousness...it's too many coincidences to be an accident exploited ad hoc by a bunch of goons who nominated Biden.
Apologies. I will have to retract one part of my comment above. There WAS in fact a mini me at the evildoer meeting: Fauci.
Another piece of the puzzle. The bad guys had 3 years to plan this and it's not too far fetched to think that mini Fauci secretly resumed the funding to the Wuhan lab in 2017 to facilitate the final development of the virus in time for a 2020 election year 'surprise'. It's also highly suspicious that Fauci, a person with such an unimpressive record, would be put forward to Trump as the man to spearhead the virus response (along wtih Traitor Pence).
If there's one aspect to all the plots and machinations launched against Trump it is the relatively small number of people who keep showing up. Hmmm...now what kind of enterprise desires above all else to keep as few people as possible involved? Criminal enterprises. Conspiracies to be exact. Exactly what we find here. Plenty of accomplices sure but awfully odd how the same handful of names keep popping up in connection with the efforts to bring down Trump.
If I was running an operation intending to spread a contagion around the globe, I would NOT release it at the doorstep of any of my bio labs, much less the very lab where the pathogen was developed. I would have released it somewhere like the international airport in Hong Kong, to which it would have been tracked and then the trail would go cold. The story would arise that it came from a bat virus, possibly via a wet market, and carried there by an unsuspecting person. But it could not be tracked back to my bio lab.Delete
It's been suggested above that Xi intentionally continued to permit international travel out of Wuhan to spread the virus. I don't doubt that's a possibility. But it could be a case of making lemonade out of lemons, because once the virus was out of the bag, Xi could have seen a way to take advantage. If not to do damage to the rest of the world per se, but to inflict harm upon the rest of the world as he suspected would be caused in China, so that China would remain on a par with the rest of the world by putting us all into the same situation with regard to the virus.
IF this ever gets enough daylight and IF enough people come to fully believe it (still very big IF's in my opinion)... among other earth shattering things, we must call into question every last macro and micro aspect of our relationship with China (another "trump was right" moment), and the legitimacy of the entire federal government - not just a couple bureaucrats or agencies.ReplyDelete
I do not say so lightly, but unless there is a very clear chain of responsibility that the people can point to and assign blame (and frankly, Fauci is not nearly big enough to be the mastermind), both the Chinese and American bureaucracies should be completely dismantled, one way or another, because they are not materially different than the evil regimes of the 20th century who slaughtered millions in the name of staying in power. They are irredeemably corrupt and cannot be allowed to rule over any element of humanity.

EXCLUSIVE: In 2016, a Chinese Military Officer, Key to COVID-19’s Origin, Mapped Virus Spread to the U.S.
By: Lawrence Sellin and Anna Chen. Lawrence Sellin, Ph.D. is retired from an international career in business and medical research with 29 years of service in the US Army Reserve and a veteran of Afghanistan and Iraq.
From the GP article posted above:ReplyDelete
It was all part of the People’s Liberation Army’s (PLA) biowarfare plan against the United States.
The design of COVID-19 was based on a number of bioweapon features, in particular, highly contagious, low lethality, and a high rate of asymptomatic transmission.
Another important feature of a PLA bioweapon, not mentioned on that list, is disguising its origin.
That is, the capability of avoiding responsibility for a biowarfare attack by designing a virus that could be blamed on a natural outbreak.
Changjun Wang, a high ranking officer in the PLA’s Eastern Theater Command headquartered in Nanjing, was responsible for the isolation of the bat coronaviruses ZC45 and ZXC21, claimed by Chinese whistleblower Dr. Li-meng Yan to be the backbones for the creation of COVID-19.
Something else that Michael Pillsbury warned of in The Hundred-Year Marathon - the infiltration and wooing of the media to sanitize its image:ReplyDelete
How China Used Foreign Media to Reset Image During Pandemic
WASHINGTON - In the early days of the coronavirus outbreak, China sought to block news of the rapidly spreading virus, detaining those who tried to speak out. But in the months that followed, as the pandemic ravaged families and economies worldwide, Beijing sought to reset its public image through foreign media, research published Wednesday by the International Federation of Journalists (IFJ) shows.
A survey of 54 journalist unions in 50 countries found a rise in the number of countries reporting a visible Chinese presence in their media, from 64% to 76% in a year. In countries where China has offered support and training to local media, a higher percentage said coverage of Beijing was more favorable, the IFJ report found.
"The coronavirus story over the past 12 months has been successfully used by China to create a more positive image of China, in a number of countries," Jeremy Dear, the IFJ's deputy general secretary, told VOA.
To the extent possible, our own rulers and social monitors who so admire China, have tried to emulate the measures taken by China to suppress factual reporting about Covid.Delete
