Herd Immunity In Northern Italy? Not So Much

Steve Sailer points to a report at francetvinfo.fr about a new program in Northern Italy, one of the hottest of hot zone for Covid19, in which people can voluntarily take a serological test to see whether they've developed an immunity to SARS-CoV-2. The idea is that this would allows these people to get out of their homes and go back to work. It's similar to an idea that's being floated for the US: "Immunity Certificates" Are Coming - COVID-Survivors To Get 'Special Passports' Enabling Return To 'Normalcy'. It's an idea that I kinda like.

The first tests were held in the town of Robbio, which is just 31 miles from Milan--so, just about ground zero for the pandemic in Italy, or the world, for that matter. Out of a total population of 6,000 people, 2,000 took the test.

Results? Only 13-14% of those tested had developed an immunity. That's not remotely enough to establish an effective herd immunity that would make any difference at all.

  1. Certificates was directly from Bill Gates and then others started peddling it.

Talk about a Scarlet Letter or the Jewis Star sown in your cloths.

Wanna bet this certificate, which means you can be an actual private citizen with supposed Constitutional rights or not, will not be just for those who are diagnosed with the Chinese Virus?
