Luongo's Populist Rant

I'm not sure that "rant" is the proper term for Tom Luongo's piece that was republished at Zerohedge yesterday. It could be regarded as a sort of prediction cum warning of what's to come. You may or may not agree with all his ideas here, but it is food for thought.

For example, canceled elections? I would never go out on a limb in a prediction sense in that regard, but if there's one thing the Trump era has taught us it's: Never say never. The overall background or theme to Luongo's piece is the idea of the Great Reset, driven by a Global Elite that's pretty much openly at war with any classes beneath them--but especially the Middle Classes that are the backbone of democratic governance as we thing we've known it. It's the Neo-gnostic managerial elite of "experts" against the rest of us.

Read these excerpts and see what you think. I follow it with a much shorter excerpt from a normally extremely sober legal commenter, by no means a bomb thrower, Jonathan Turley. Turley's article is about the legal issues behind coerced vaccination. You may wish to read the whole article, but I'll only be quoting his concluding paragraphs which show a Turley who is becoming alarmed at what he sees around him in America.

So, first Luongo. He begins with reference to "panic". He referring to the whole Covid vaccine situation but to larger events as well:

Luongo: We Have Entered The Eye Of Davos' Storm

The panic many will feel will be real but the question is who is actually panicking?

Is it the “dirty spreaders” and “anti-science” losers who refuse to take an experimental gene therapy or the ones who ordered all of this insanity in the first place for their own personal and political gain?

At every turn the Biden Administration lost major political battles in the past week. There is no denying that. That is an unqualified good thing. It ensures the anger and frustration over the direction of the country post-Trump will be unstoppable come the mid-term elections despite even the expected voter fraud next fall.

We can count on that just like we could count on it in 2020. But the bigger question I have now is whether or not we’ll actually have those elections if it looks like we’ll have a landslide on the populist side of the political ledger?

What the little people want is anathema to those that congregate every year at Davos, Switzerland to plot out their dystopian future plans for humanity.

So, the odds rise everyday that they will suspend elections in Germany or France as a trial run for next fall’s mid-terms. Book this prediction and double down on it regularly, you might make more on it than in the coming crypto bull market, but only just barely.

The ride from here will only get worse and our only recourse is to look to shoring up our local communities rather than hope for any saviors at the ballot box.

Shore up local communities? How does Luongo propose that that be done when we seem to have de facto open borders now?

The rules have changed.

Democracy has been outlawed and the courts neutralized. The push for total control over your movement, your thoughts and your basic right to make your way in the world is no longer protected by law.

Extreme as that may sound to traditional sensibilities, it's hard to deny 1) that our constitutional processes have been transformed and 2) the SCOTUS majority is divided and walking on egg shells, fearing what's coming and fearing offending their overlords. The conservative justices appear to be very much aware of the globalist dynamics of events.

In fact, the law is openly hostile to your very existence. Just ask Australians and Canadians.

We’ve always known that public health was the cheat code to tyranny. Now we’re seeing it weaponized in a way that isn’t just creepy, it’s chilling in its inhumanity.

But the kids still think Communists care about them.

There is an urgency to this now that wasn’t there before. In the days after neutralizing Trump they backed off thinking there was more time, that there was more than a full year to stepwise up the pressure on us.

But it turned out that COVID-19 simply wasn’t deadly enough and therapeutics for it strong enough to unmask the agenda behind the operation.

My bet is that whatever the Fed says at Jackson Hole will tell us just where the Fed stands in all of this and that will tell us whether or not we have any friends at all in high places.

The storm created by Davos has made landfall. The next two months will tell us just who is and who is not still on their payroll or is compromised by them. To me the key is the Fed. We’ll find out soon enough if Wall St. really isn’t down with the Commintern.

One sign of hope, which Luongo does note, is that the Republicans--who must also be aware of the bigger picture of the attempt at a Great, Global Reset--appear relatively undaunted. In the face of this onslaught:

When you stop to think this through in normal political calculus, how can Biden and Pelosi spin their failures as anything like victories now? The truth is plain to everyone. They lied, cheated, stole and by all rational accounts staged a coup on January 6th.

They have everything they ever wanted… all the power of the Legislative and Executive branches while simultaneously cowing the Judicial branch into irrelevance …

Well, not really all the power, or there wouldn't have been that string of setbacks.

Pelosi bluffed hard on the spending and infrastructure bills but forgot that having a 50-50 split in the senate and a united Republican front who knows they are in the mid-term driver’s seat meant that any single Senator with a nominal “D” after their names could take the ‘awesome power of the speaker’s gavel’ and shove it right up her ***.

So Luongo admits that the "normal political calculus" may hold something different in store for the future. The shape of what that could be? Hard to tell.

Now, Turley, who sees flashing danger signals ahead for our constitutional order:

Say goodbye to persuasion: Vaccine mandates may be coming — but will they be legal?

The federal government is on shaky ground in mandating hood behavior or inactivity. In 2012 in NFIB v. Sebelius, Chief Justice John Roberts declared that “Construing the Commerce Clause to permit Congress to regulate individuals precisely because they are doing nothing would open a new and potentially vast domain to congressional authority.”

Of course, 2012 seems like such a long time ago ...

The greatest danger with the coercion model is that it will further deepen our divisions and turn vaccine resistance into a type of patriotic resistance for some people. Recently, a shocking poll found that almost 50 percent of Republicans believe “patriotic Americans [might] have to take the law into their own hands.” The poll shows how many Americans are increasingly alienated from the government, the media and the established order. Conversely, some commentators on the left have declared that the unvaccinated are terrorists using “biological warfare” against the nation.

Threatening to make the lives of the unvaccinated a “living hell,” or isolating them from society, likely will do little to increase the level of vaccination — but it will do much to increase the level of alienation in our society.

What would be another concrete step toward increasing alienation from the "established order"? Maybe something like this:

New FBI Initiative Will Put "Hate Crime" Quotas On Local Law Enforcement

The Department of Justice and the FBI have a message for local police departments: start charging more white people with hate crimes or invite an investigation.

Associate Attorney General Vanita Gupta told an assembly of FBI agents yesterday that they are now tasked with hounding police departments in their district if they do not register any "hate crimes."

Gupta and FBI Deputy Assistant Director of the Criminal Investigative Division Jay Greenberg have declared "hate crimes" by "racially motivated violent extremists" (a euphemism generally reserved for right-wing white men) to be a national threat priority -- a rare designation.

According to Greenberg, the FBI will be increasingly specialized in pursuing "hate crimes" through increased training in the matter, an aggressive media campaign designed to recruit victims in "underrepresented and targeted populations," and putting federal pressure on local law enforcement to charge and report hate crimes when they otherwise wouldn't.

The division fomented by BLM/Antifa, now followed by widening outrage over CRT in the schools, seems not to have lessened the determination of the Left. With the Legislative Branch deadlocked, will the courts step in? Or will they try to wait it out until 2022?

  1. Not just here… Monica Showalter on latest big cancellation:

As COVID surges, why is YouTube suppressing SkyNews for its reports on HCQ and ivermectin?

    1. Just followed your link, Bebe and read Showalter's piece. I thought it was excellent, and she's at least getting close to putting the focus where it needs to be, which is on the *effectiveness & all but nonexistent risks* of the ivernectin/HCQ-led therapies.

Censorship is bad no matter what, but if some crazies were claiming wearing hair nets cured covid, I'd be against censoring that but would realize there were bigger fish to fry and move on if they did censor it.

But what we are talking about here (a broken record preaching to the choir, I know!) is literally hundreds of thousands of deaths (so far + what's to come) and millions upon million of cases of needless, totally preventable suffering. Not to mention the rapid demise of both the finances of our great republic and, indeed, that republic's very survival.

Showalter just says, "these censors should be held responsible, should anyone die of COVID, not knowing of the treatments they might have had."

I know she means well, but that is some pretty bad math. Better to say that IF these therapeutics work even a fraction as well as they appear to from what we now know, the preventable death and suffering -past, present and future- is nothing short of a crime against humanity, laid squarely on all who promote the censorship effort.

It's not an exaggeration, and the math is both simple and undeniable.

But Showalter's on the right track, and that's huge and I for one commend her for it.

  2. And don’t forget they warned that Trump would cancel elections. This is how they signal their intentions well in advance.

  3. The Fed ain't going to save us, they are here to serve the Globalists as they have been doing for 40 years. Great Reset = Central Planning / Central Control = "Soviet Model". I've posted before, sorry if redundant, but take in the insights of one Richard Werner who explains global finance in a litte under an hour and leaves you with some pretty heady realizations about what has been going on and what is going on. Not coincidental that Klaus Schwab is a BANKER and that its bankers putatively leading this Putsch of the Elite. They are doing it by killing off COMMUNITY BANKS and thereby lending on the community level to community businesses so they can develop. You want to defeat the Global Reset? Encourage the formation of a Community Banks. Tell your Congress Critter to Support and defend local banking. Its Main Street vs. Wall Street.

    Mark A

    1. Mark A, in fairness to Luongo, if you read his prior posts and podcasts his theory is that there a distinct split has developed between what he calls the EU Davos cabal and the US cabal. And he backs it up by citing several instances of US monetary policy that really has been sticking it to the EU and Davosians. He sees a basic conflict between big US banks and Davos. The banks and Wall Street mega bucks are not about to let Davos kill their riches by running everything thru the EU and WEF. So ot isn't the Fed saving us per se but messing up the Davos reset plans by tanking fiscal schemes of the EU.

  4. Talk about whiplash. Here you had me thinking that Luongo's idea of canxd 2022 elections was too fsr fetched even for 2020 standards and then you go and bring out the item about quotas for hate crimes. This is all moving so obviously in a totalitarian cascade that cancelled elections (or at least an attempt) is very much on the table. These people are so...what? Panicked? Fearful? Crazy? Power mad? All of the above? Nothing is out of the question.

  5. The good news is these people are so crazy and arrogant they don't know how to do what Clinton used to do and make believe he was mainstream. This is so obvious that they are riding roughshod over three quarters of the country that lacking the coercion of a China or Iran they can't pull this off.

    1. Just because they lack the overt coercion of a China or Iran doesn't mean they can't pull this off.
      See e.g. .

    2. Good article. A rather prescient observation from Wolin:

But, he [Sheldon Wolin] warns, should the population—steadily stripped of its most basic rights, including the right to privacy, and increasingly impoverished and bereft of hope—become restive, inverted totalitarianism will become as brutal and violent as past totalitarian states. The war on terrorism, with its accompanying emphasis upon ‘homeland security,’ presumes that state power, now inflated by doctrines of preemptive war and released from treaty obligations and the potential constraints of international judicial bodies, can turn inwards,” he writes, “confident that in its domestic pursuit of terrorists the powers it claimed, like the powers projected abroad, would be measured, not by ordinary constitutional standards, but by the shadowy and ubiquitous character of terrorism as officially defined.”

  6. (Sorry this is so long!!)

The success of the Ivermectin / HCQ blackout operation has been, in the worst possible way, incredibly successful. Luongo does mention Ivermectin in passing, and that is great and also very much the exception. Turley's very good piece, though, is par for today’s journalistic course in that, where he says "A myriad of reasons exist" for people not wanting the poke, not only does he not mention Ivermectin or HCQ specifically, he doesn't mention even the very idea of the existence of therapeutics at all. The very fundamental piece of knowledge that the virus simply isn’t dangerous in any meaningful way for any person in relatively reasonable health who takes the dirt-cheap, correct therapy early on is the single greatest reason for Republican-voting people eschewing the jab - NOT the reasons Turley gives (his reasons probably do apply to the thoroughly benighted, Democrat-voting side of the spectrum). I'm blaming this not on any ignoble intention on Turley's part but on the success of the blackout I mentioned above.

As an aside, I never much listened to Rush Limbaugh, just like I never much listened to the other big talk radio voices, but I can't help believe he would've been all over Ivermectin and HCQ and the whole therapeutics angle day and night and that he alone could've forced the country to be aware of it. I just can't see how he would've been cowed, unlike so many other "conservative" voices today, into keeping mum or at least minimizing talk of it.

Lastly, and FWIW, a couple days after I got my Ivermectin-led therapeutic cocktails prescribed for my family members and me, the Medici app, which is what you use to get the prescriptions, went offline. I wrote the support desk from the website, and they wrote back saying they have technical difficulties and are working to get them fixed. It's been over a week now and still no resolution.

Add to this the anecdote that a friend of mine got the virus last week, called me to get some advice, and then ended up getting a local physician to send a prescription of Ivermectin to his local Walgreens. When he went to pick it up, the pharmacist asked him "what's up with all these Ivermectin prescriptions? We've been bombarded with them lately and can't keep it sufficiently supplied." He answered that it was for Covid, and she was totally surprised - she had no idea that Ivermectin was used for that purpose.

Add to that the anecdote that two other friends called this week asking how to use the app to get Ivermectin, because they each had friends who who were getting to be in bad shape with Covid. Neither of them was able to get the Ivermectin with the app, because of the technical problems.

And the final anecdote is that my iPhone won’t let me delete the app so I can reinstall it. It seems like it gets deleted but then as soon as I restart the phone, the app reappears but not in a working condition, i.e., it’s in a state of having been partially deleted and won’t respond to any attempts to open it.

I have a very hard time accepting it takes more than a week just to get an app error fixed, though of course I could be wrong. I really can't help but suspect, at least just a bit, sabotage of some sort, since the app was going a very long way toward making things better and teaching the nation that covid simply doesn't kill when treated early with the right stuff.

Coincidences do happen, and this could be just that, nothing more, but I'll ask everyone's forgiveness for not being able to feel just a little bit suspicious over the timing of the whole thing. If it comes back soon and keeps working as before, I'll be satisfied the timing was just a coincidence - so I guess we'll see...

    1. Brad, I'm sure many are grateful for the info you've provided re ivermectin--obtaining it.

We have dumb phones, and only works for smart phones. However, my wife has an iPad. This past week she downloaded Medici to her iPad, but it said there was a server problem. However ...

She successfully got a prescription filled. The doc emailed her with his Text2MD billing embedded--and that worked. It took some back and forth to get them to understand that she didn't have a smart phone, but they were very accommodating.

I was a bit surprised to hear that Walgreens filled those prescriptions, but that probably depends on state regs?

    2. Thanks for that very useful info, Mark. I'll call Dr. Antonato's office with the phone number listed online and try and make that happen and then get the word out.

I think you're right about the state regulations running the show, since my Florida Walgreens had no problem with issuing it, either.

PS: The "server error" is indeed the error message I also get.

    3. You can also obtain Ivermectin at the following website (from India). I have done so twice. Note: only available in 12 mg so you may have to cut pills in order to get the correct 0.07 mg/lb. x bodyweight (in lbs.).

    4. One more comment here re PD Quig's comment:

The price at works out to about 30-40 cents/mg, whereas if one gets the 16 x 15mg package of what Text2MD offers, it's about 17 cents/mg.

That said, it's great to have as many sources as possible. As well, you can get HCQ at ivermectin24, and that's for sure a bonus option to have, as some doctors who seem to know what they're doing recommend a combination of the two therapeutics.

    5. Thanks PD. I was unable to get response from the telemedicine doctors.

  7. I think America's Frontline Doctors are the people we should be supporting and spreading the word about. Take a gander at the video recordings from their 1st annual (alas!) Summit. Some straight talk.

    Mark A.

    1. I watched the First Annual Summit a while back, Mark A., and yes, it was *excellent.* I strongly second the motion for people to watch it (or even just listen to it while in the car or whatever.)

  8. Police agencies report stats to the feds.

For the feds, the FBI, to now investigate police agencies that have nil or no hate crime charges turns law enforcement on it’s head.

The incentive is now to view anything as a hate crime. Betcha it will be only deemed valid if white on black only.

Doubt many LEO chiefs, save for some big city, Democrats chiefs, going to comply as they want.

    1. I imagine this is not so very different from the early 1930s in Germany when Hitler started undermining and co-opting the German local police. Eventually he took it over completely and it was subservient to his political program. The regime seems to be using the Nazis and Bolsheviks as a how to guide.

    2. As Craig Pirrong, Prof. of Finance at the U. of Houston, sees it, this sort of rot is overcoming the whole post-covid Anglosphere, see :
"the Anglosphere is now the cutting edge of repression and fascism, and active hostility to the ideals of individual freedom that were allegedly its hallmark....."

  9. heck, I was an IG in my former life and probably only wrote up 10% of what I saw...most of the time, I'd stop and show the young soldiers the error of their ways, so to speak, rather than clutter up the report with mostly minor "crimes". That being said, if I had been told that my livelihood depended on the number of findings I wrote, I coulda told'em: "how many do ya want?" Geez, what a train wreck...

BTW, lest you think I was not giving the taxpayers their money's worth, I think back to an incident when I was a young, naive inspector who casually mentioned to a Regimental Sergeant Major of the BAOR that one of his men was not paying attention to potential air threats during a field exercise...the RSM strode over to the miscreant and bashed him on the top of his helmet with the butt end of a rifle and shouted: "Williams, you're a fookin' air guard, look up!" I was shocked and never dropped a dime like that again...especially on a young troop who was just trying to find his way. RSMs, chuckle, what a bunch of hard asses

All of this will go back to the basic difference between us and them: they think the number of people who need government "help" is an indication that they are doing good, while we think the fewer number of people on the welfare rolls is an indication that our policies are helping people lift themselves up out of poverty so when the number of "hate crimes" being reported increases, they will pat themselves on the back for a job well done...God help us

  10. I post occasionally here and can vouch for one website where I have purchased both 12 mg ivermectin and 200 mg HCQ. Here :
It does take 2-3 weeks as it comes from India. No prescription needed
