UPDATED: Malone Does Italy

I just finished watching a very interesting hour and a quarter interview with Dr. Robert Malone. The interview is in English, but was done for an Italian audience, so it has Italian subtitles. As you can imagine, with an hour and a quarter in hand, the interview covers a lot of ground. It mostly features Malone doing the talking. He've very thorough, very careful to qualify every statement that needs qualifying, but is also quite forthright at times. It's perhaps one of the most in depth discussions of Covid available.

I found his explanation of the Spike Protein's relationship to the vaccines quite enlightening, so I've done a transcript of most of that portion. From there I give a summary of some other highlights--but I couldn't cover everything. If you go on to watch the video yourself, you'll realize it's fairly dense.

For now things are a bit slow. You can read about the unions and their reaction to the orders they're receiving from the Dems at the link below (h/t my Dutch fried). It's a big story but in the end we'll just have to wait and see because we don't really have a say in it--except to continue voicing opposition. The big thing for America--as the Dems seem to increasingly understand--is to get to free elections in 2022. That's the clock the Dems are racing against now. They're flailing, looking for something that will head of that sort of catastrophe. It's a trial and error process for them and they're willing to try just about anything:

As the Biden White House weighs vaccine mandates for businesses and the federal workforce, some of its firmest outside allies are bristling at the idea.

A steep divide has emerged among labor unions — as well as between members and leaders — over whether to require workers to be vaccinated.

On Tuesday, AFL-CIO President Richard Trumka said he would support a mandate, giving a boost to White House efforts to increase vaccination rates after they stagnated in recent weeks. But Trumka’s position was at odds with some of the AFL-CIO's largest members, including the American Federation of Teachers, whose president said that vaccine protocols should be decided at individual workplaces. Other unions have also voiced opposition.

Briefly Noted: Markers On Where We Are

Very briefly. Two stories that say so much about the state of America.

By far the best commentary I've seen on the ridiculous Bezos Post propaganda piece is at Zerohedge:


"The War Has Changed" - Leaked CDC Report Claims Delta Spreads As Easily As "Chickenpox"


The CDC is clearly concerned that it's losing the PR war to convince Americans that they must mask up and get vaccinated. Because less than a week after declaring that it would revive its mask mandate, the CDC has just pulled a classic media trick: turning the fearmongering nob up to '11' by leaking an "internal report" that supports the official narrative (even making it look like the more moderate of two options) while laundering the source of the information by allowing a reputable news org to market the story as an "exclusive".

A slide deck apparently shared widely inside the agency in the weeks after it first lifted the original mask mandate in May shows that the delta variant appears to cause more severe illness in younger patients, while spreading as easily as "chickenpox." What's more, it warns that the vaccine's ability to spread via infecting the already vaccinated means the CDC should impose even more stringent guidance - the presentation called for "universal masking." The document "strikes an urgent note, revealing the agency knows it must revamp its public message to emphasize vaccination as the best defense against a variant so contagious that it acts almost like a different novel virus."

Most critically, the slide deck includes "still-unpublished data" from studies showing that even the vaccinated might be able to transmit the virus as easily as the unvaccinated.

According to the Washington Post, the material in the report was "so alarming" that it prompted the CDC to reconsider its masking guidance, and President Biden to impose his federal employee vaccination mandate (with a few notable exceptions) despite his earlier promises not to do so.

Not only does the presentation include "new science", it also suggests "a new strategy" for communicating the urgency of the situation to the public, noting that "public trust in vaccines might be undermined" when people hear about breakthrough infections. At one point, the deck declared that "the war has changed," describing delta as if it were a totally new virus.

Well, maybe Pfizer and the government should have thought about that before they published obviously inflated efficacy numbers of +90%.


Ridiculous.

Sterilizing And Non-Sterilizing Vaccines

I've come up with a decent article that explains the difference between these types of vaccines, and it plays directly into what's going on currently with all the talk of the Dread Delta, viral loads, and so forth.

Not a problem? That's the nub. It is a problem--for some vaccines. Including the gene therapy medications that have been repurposed as Covid vaccines.

Let's start with some excerpts that lead into the current situation:


... it may surprise you to know that not all vaccines provide the same level of protection. Some vaccines stop you getting symptomatic disease, but others stop you getting infected too. The latter is known as “sterilising immunity”. With sterilising immunity, the virus can’t even gain a toehold in the body because the immune system stops the virus entering cells and replicating.

There is a subtle yet important difference between preventing disease and preventing infection. A vaccine that “just” prevents disease might not stop you from transmitting the disease to others – even if you feel fine. But a vaccine that provides sterilising immunity stops the virus in its tracks.

In an ideal world, all vaccines would induce sterilising immunity. In reality, it is actually extremely difficult to produce vaccines that stop virus infection altogether. Most vaccines that are in routine use today do not achieve this.


It has now been confirmed, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that the Covid 'vaccines' are non-sterilizing. They do not prevent infection, but hopefully prevent the disease--or a serious instance of the disease. We also now know that these 'vaccines', as was to be expected from non-sterilizing vaccines, do not prevent the vaxxed individuals from infecting others. The CDC wants us to believe that this is a new development with the Dread Delta, but many experts regard this as doubtful.

CDC Attempts Damage Control Through The WaPo

Last night an article came out in the WaPo, presumably to complement the damaging admissions that CDC Director Rochelle Walensky has made regarding the high viral loads that asymptomatic vaxxed persons are carrying--and presumably spreading. My impression last night hasn't been changed by anything I've seen this morning: this is damage control. For what it's worth, here's a link--and note the emphasis on "messaging" rather than on, say, "getting the data out":

The internal presentation shows that the agency thinks it is struggling to communicate on vaccine efficacy amid increased breakthrough infections


Note, too, that the key assertion in the messaging--that the Dread Delta is "likely more severe"--is ... likely not true, except in defined demographics. The real story that CDC doesn't want released is that these problems were likely caused by this ill considered gene therapy experiment. More on both points below, but issuing administrative diktats ordering people to participate in a medical experiment, but without the backing of scientific data, is in itself a form of messaging that speaks volumes.

Robert Malone has offered a series of tweets this morning that dissect the CDC narrative that's being peddled via the Bezos WaPo. I've taken the liberty of reformatting these tweets a bit for readability--including correcting some typos:

Briefly Noted: Dems Declare War On Their Base

Progs are nothing if not enthusiastic practitioners of scorched earth tactics. Yesterday the Zhou regime declared war on its political base--minority voters, especially blacks. Monica Showalter has details in a data rich article this morning: Biden to force vaccines on federal workforce -- blacks, minorities hardest hit

Of course the Dems have been trying to propagate the myth that it's Trump voters who are resisting the gene therapy injections, but that's not totally true. In point of fact, by far the most vax resistant demographic in America is black Americans--I've seen estimates as low as 9% for vaxxed blacks, followed relatively closely by Hispanics. Apparently most Progs haven't been paying attention to any of this and simply expect minorities to accept orders from Chairman Zhou and fall into line. Perhaps the behavior of the government teachers unions have deluded them.

Yesterday we got the first rumblings that this isn't going to be the case. The Postal Workers union reacted immediately to Zhou's vax ukase with a forthright statement that it was none of his business and that postal workers--disproportionately black--could decide for themselves. Said the union leadership:


it is not the role of the federal government to mandate vaccinations for the employees we represent

Dems To Attempt A Pivot To Trump?

That's what multiple sources are reporting, on good sourcing. The idea is, the Dems have finally realized what a trainwreck their Covid policy is becoming and they'll try to blame it all on Trump, as the developer of the vaccine.

Three points on this:

1) Yes, Trump mishandled the Covid Panic and shares some of the blame. I said at the time that he didn't have much choice or room to maneuver, but that's the way life goes.

2) However, the Dems have done so much to own this, have lied so much, that it'll be difficult to shuck all the blame--and, of course, there's plenty to go around. They have more problems with voters, even though this is a big one. 

3) If you want a list of stuff the Dems own, start with Fauci and all his lies and flip flopping on policy, then pivot to school and business lockdowns, then let's talk about Wuhan and the China Flu. I'm gonna bet that voters will be of the fool-me-once mindset.

A few days ago Karl Denninger wrote a post that bears directly on what is happening--I Hate Being Right. Of course, this is all the stuff that Yeadon and Bhakdi and Vanden Bossche have been warning about. Still, read this excerpt, bearing in mind that he's talking about the Dread Delta, even though he doesn't name it. Also keep this clear--"low Ct number" = Bad:

Breaking Covid News 7/29/21

We start with several interesting tweets from Dr. Robert Malone. His tweets and links can be somewhat cryptic--intended, I think, for a more professional audience, an audience attuned to his field. Still, there is matter of interest for all of us.



This is simple enough. #2 and #3 are the points he's making. Covid is getting less lethal--as expected based on all standard virology--so what's with this big vax the world campaign? 



I assume Malone wants us to draw some conclusion from this. My conclusion is, if you've been previously infected getting vaxxed makes no sense--and that's outside of the fact that a vax gives no additional protection against the disease, because you've already got that if you've had a prior infection. No, the reason it makes no sense is because it's risky

There's an additional problem: How do we know who's been previously infected? Does that mean, actually having the disease, symptomatically? There is data to suggest--based on antibody studies--that twice as many people have encountered Covid as have been diagnosed. Coercing vaxxing among the general population means you'll be coercing a large group of people--quite a few millions--who don't need the injection under any rationale but who will be at higher risk from taking it. Ethical problem here? Bonus issue: What about those who have been fully vaxxed and now could be persuaded to take a booster?

The American Regime and Its Moral Ground

Most readers are probably familiar with the conservative position that the Declaration of Independence--with its recognition and enunciation of American first principles--should be treated as equally foundational to our constitutional order as the Constitution itself. That argument, reasonable as it is, is wormwood to progs for obvious reasons--as obvious as the Declaration's most famous passage: 


We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.--That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, --That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness.


Self-evident truths, a Creator, unalienable rights, limited government founded on principles rather than the opinion of prog experts--Yikes! It would be the end of civilization as ... Progs want us to know it. What would come next--open and fair elections?

The American Regime and Its Moral Ground

The Dread Delta--The Excuse 'Teachers' Have Been Looking For?

Randi Weingarten let it slip--reopening 'schools' ain't a done deal:


American Federation of Teachers (AFT) President Randi Weingarten was ripped after hedging on whether or not U.S. schools would reopen in the fall during a Wednesday interview on MSNBC.

While having previously recommended that fully vaccinated individuals are not required to wear masks, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reversed guidance following the spread of the new Delta variant of the virus, announcing that vaccinated people should return to wearing masks indoors and suggesting universal masking in schools.

Weingarten called the guidance a "curveball," before suggesting that school reopenings this fall are not a done deal.

"So the bottom line is, we're going to keep kids safe, we're going to keep our members safe, we're going to try to open up schools, and we're going to move through this political battlefield," Weingarten said.

Critics picked up on her comment about the reopening of schools because it sounded like backpedaling from when she argued in May that "we can and we must reopen schools in the fall."


You just knew--and I've been saying this--the government teachers would be looking for any excuse to keep government 'schools' closed.

In some areas there has been a significant migration of families to private schools. Meanwhile, reports are that home schooling is projected to double. Parents are fed up, kids probably are, too.

I'm in favor of shutting the government 'schools' down.


MAJOR UPDATES: Whence The Breakout?

Unfortunately the state of the First Amendment in America is such that the general public is often reduced to relying for basic information on anecdotal accounts, or on the good offices of those able and willing to do some fairly deep data dives and then analyze and assemble the results. This is nowhere more true than in the Covid Regime in which we live.

This morning my wife heard a news account of a Covid outbreak--or breakout?--at a large local state university. The radio station contacted a local nurse who reported that, yes, her hospital had seen some increase in cases--but, then, before they could shut her up, she quickly added: Two of them were fully vaccinated. 

Woops! Narrative fail! We're supposed to believe--contrary to both anecdotal evidence and official data from various sources (often foreign governments) that "99.5%" of new Covid cases are among the unvaxxed. The latest increase (from a low baseline) is supposed to be a pandemic of the unvaxxed, who are killing themselves but are also trying to "kill [other] people"--the vaxxed. Trying to kill "normal people" as the governor of Alabama, apparently, phrased it.

Reality is a slippery beast at best. Wayne Allen Root offers some salutary reminders in this regard at TGP. Herewith a brief excerpt. His reminders range over the whole gamut, from personal anecdote to brief news accounts to official data. As he says, someone is lying, and the lie is a big fat one:

Mike Flynn Speaks

Revolver has a 50 minute or so minute interview with Mike Flynn. It's billed as a sort of a tell all for conservatives:

In fact, it's nothing of the sort. Flynn makes vague accusations about high ranking persons in the Deep State being out to get himself and Trump, but if you're looking for names named, new facts presented, truths revealed, etc., forget it. It'll only be time lost from your life. I would hope that readers at this blog who listen to Flynn will not come away feeling more knowledgeable.

Actually, the interview comes across as the kind of interview a prospective candidate for high office might give, if he were going to attempt to run as a non-establishment outsider, running to clean up Washington DC and restore the greatness that used to be America. Heard that before? But there are no details there. Yes, Flynn hints broadly at a cultural war, but I have to say that there's a real moral emptiness at the core of what he's saying. No suggestion whatsoever of any steps that he would champion. That becomes especially clear in the final segment in the terms with which he urges young people to enlist in the military. One comes away wondering: What does America stand for, in Flynn's mind? What makes it worth fighting and even dying for--in his mind?

ATLANTA, GA—The CDC has issued brand new recommendations regarding the wearing of seat belts. Health experts there are now recommending people wear a seat belt, even when outside the car.

When pressed regarding what gives the CDC authority to comment on seat belt usage, they clarified that these were simply recommendations based on the latest scientific research, for the sake of public health. When further asked how exactly a seat belt that's not anchored to anything can protect anyone, they replied with a statement saying "SHUT UP IT'S SCIENCE!"

Is The Regime Panicking--And Should We?

Remember back toward the end of March when Rochelle Walensky, new head of CDC, expressed a sense of "impending doom" if the US "opened up" "too soon"? Well, yesterday, in recommending more masking--despite all the science against it--Walensky expressed something very like that sense of "impending doom". I quote here from Zerohedge:


“The largest concern that I think we in public health and science are worried about is that virus and the potential mutations. We have a very transmissible virus which has the potential to evade our vaccines in terms of how it protects us from severe disease and death,” Walensky said.

“Right now, fortunately, we are not there. These vaccines operate really well in protecting us from severe disease and death. But the big concern is the next variant that might emerge, just a few mutations potentially away, could potentially evade our vaccines.”

[ZH: Remember just a few weeks before she lifted the mask mandate, Walensky warned the world of a sense of "impending doom."]

Walensky advised that the threat of a variant that is immune to the current vaccines is the reason more Americans should be vaccinated in a bid to contain the virus and its mutations.


Ask yourself: How will wearing a mask stop mutations? Please--this is an insult to the intelligence of normal people.

Here's the real context in which to place Walensky's panicked blathering--and, as usual, this slipped release of truth into the debate is being suppressed today. But as I indicated yesterday, this very brief tweet was a complete BOMBSHELL:



This is precisely the well known phenomenon of ADE--Antibody Dependent Enhancement--that is being described. It's precisely what eminent experts in the field of immunology and vaccinology have been frantically warning about for months. Walensky, Fauci, and the rest of the Zhou regime seem to be panicking and have nothing on offer but masks and injections of the very medication that's causing the ADE. This is the fear that's driving events now--but the regime is talking around these issues with nonsense about masks and getting people shot up, rather than giving us straight talk:

Enemies Of The State--A New Badge Of Honor?

How many conservatives have proudly embraced the title of "deplorable"? Now a NYT reporter, Katie Benner (she covers DoJ) has pinned the title "Enemies of the state" on Trump supporters. Via TGP:




Benner uses phraseology that seems to me to have a totalitarian ring to it. How often in history have you heard Americans speak of other Americans as "enemies of the state?" In point of fact, Americans view themselves as citizens of a constitutional republic--despite progressive developments in US politics over the past century or more. The notion of being subjects of "the State", the reference to the federal government or the constitutional order of the US as "the State", is normally reserved for persons dominated by an authoritarian government that exercises total top-down control. Certainly in my 30 year career in federal LE I never viewed myself as an agent of "the State." In America "the state" is normally understood as a separate and sovereign entity within a federal union.

It's really quite a revealing attitude. It is precisely my sense of this attitude (among other things) that has led me to refer, not to an administration, but instead to a "regime"--another word that is typically foreign to American political discussion of their own government. However, to the extent that progs seek to impose this viewpoint on the rest of us, I proudly adopt the title: Enemy of the state.


Trump Does The Right Thing

And that happens to also be the smart thing. He's calling on the American people to resist the corrupt know-nothing tyranny of woke pseudo-science. He's also calling on Americans to stand up for their children, the country's future:



In doing so he's putting the GOP brand in play and staking his claim--on a matter of principle--to stand for the party. He's setting the MAGA GOP apart from and in opposition to the GOPe of Mitch McConnell, Mike Lee, and their ilk, who are for coercing Americans into line to participate in a dangerous experiment. It's a red line. The eyes of conservatives will be focused on which side of the line candidates stand.

Matt Vespa included a lengthy quote from highly regard Johns Hopkins doc Marty Makary, who was writing in the WSJ. Since the WSJ is subscription only I'm pasting in the portion that Vespa quotes, which is good news for anyone who was worried:

The news about the U.S. Covid pandemic is even better than you’ve heard. Some 80% to 85% of American adults are immune to the virus: More than 64% have received at least one vaccine dose and, of those who haven’t, roughly half have natural immunity from prior infection. There’s ample scientific evidence that natural immunity is effective and durable, and public-health leaders should pay it heed.

Only around 10% of Americans have had confirmed positive Covid tests, but four to six times as many have likely had the infection. A February study in Nature used antibody screenings in late summer 2020 to estimate there had been seven times as many actual cases as confirmed cases. A similar study, by the University of Albany and New York State Department of Health, revealed that by the end of March 2020—the first month of New York’s pandemic—23% of the city’s population had antibodies. That share necessarily increased as the pandemic spread.

Natural immunity is durable. Researchers from Washington University in St. Louis reported last month that 11 months after a mild infection immune cells were still capable of producing protective antibodies. The authors concluded that prior Covid infection induces a “robust” and “long-lived humoral immune response,” leading some scientists to suggest that natural immunity is probably lifelong. Because infection began months earlier than vaccination, we have more follow-up data on the duration of natural immunity than on vaccinated immunity.

Skeptics of natural immunity point to Manaus, capital of the Brazilian state of Amazonas, where reports in January suggested a wave of re-infections despite herd immunity. But the initial estimate of those infected was incorrect because it was based on antibody testing among those who donated convalescent plasma—an unrepresentative subgroup of the population. A follow-up study debunked the re-infection hypothesis and found only three confirmed re-infections in the entire state, whose population exceeds four million. Other studies have confirmed that re-infections are rare and usually asymptomatic or mild.

Some health officials warn of possible variants resistant to natural immunity. But none of the hundreds of variants observed so far have evaded either natural or vaccinated immunity with the three vaccines authorized in the U.S.

Dr. Fauci said last Aug. 13 that when you have fewer than 10 cases per 100,000, “you should be able to open up safely and clearly.” The U.S. reached that point in mid-May. It’s time to stop the fear mongering and level with the public about the incredible capabilities of both modern medical research and the human body’s immune system.

The gene therapy masks the infection, which festers and gets worse.  When you undertand this you also understand--if you doubted--that you're being lied to about the Dread Delta affecting 99.5% unvaxxed. News/Not News?

You be the judge.

The other day, in the post regarding the Dr. McCullough interview, I suggested that the findings that appeared to associate specific vaccines with specific variants might be a signal that ADE (Antibody Dependent Enhancement) might be occurring. For example, the Dread Delta variant appears to be associated with the Sinovac vaccine, whereas the new Epsilon variant in California is associated with Pfizer, Moderna, and J&J. By "associated with" I mean that these vaccines promote the variants or mutations by pushing the virus to mutate in a particular direction. It's a bad thing--you prefer to have random mutations, which tend in a more benign direction. This is how Wikipedia explains ADE, just to refresh your recollection:


Antibody-dependent enhancement (ADE), sometimes less precisely called immune enhancement or disease enhancement, is a phenomenon in which binding of a virus to suboptimal antibodies enhances its entry into host cells, followed by its replication.[1][2] ADE may cause enhanced respiratory disease and acute lung injury after respiratory virus infection (ERD) with symptoms of monocytic infiltration and an excess of eosinophils in respiratory tract.[3] ADE along with type 2 T helper cell-dependent mechanisms may contribute to a development of the vaccine associated disease enhancement (VADE), which is not limited to respiratory disease.[3] Some vaccine candidates that targeted coronaviruses, RSV virus and Dengue virus elicited VADE, and were terminated from further development or became approved for use only for patients who have had those viruses before.


I'm not a scientist, so I'm not in a position to say that ADE plays into the rise of the various variants. However, here's a tweet by Dr. Robert Malone. He's citing data reporting from the Israeli Ministry of Health. As I read his tweet, he's suggesting that the data may be signaling that ADE is a factor:

Spike This!

Important spike protein news out today. Keep two things in mind: 1) The Covid spike protein is a known pathogen; and 2) it's supposed to disappear from the body in about 2 weeks. At least that was the official story. Also, you don't want spike protein persisting in monocytes, but ... here's a highly technical abstract that talks about exactly that. Malone comments re this article:


Recommend that you pay attention  to this.  Same group as the new data on presence of spike in the same monocyte population in vaccinated asymptomatics.


The point is ultimately about spike caused inflammation and the damage that inflammation causes to all sorts of parts of the body. This is why the idea of using gene therapy to trick human cells into producing unknown quantities of spike proteins is so dodgy. 

The idea was that that whole process would wind down in about two weeks, but we've been finding out differently. Woops! If this study shows spike protein in vaxxed people circulating 5 months after being injected, now you understand why they're finding (as Peter McCullough reported) vax damage nine months after the injection. Which is apparently after the injection has lost most or all of its "effectiveness" anyway. But not its "side effectiveness."

Briefly Noted: Covid Testing, 'Trust' In Science, More

Yesterday there were reports out that the CDC is phasing out the PCR test for use in Covid testing. The PCR test is what fueled the casedemic and is known to be an inappropriate tool. Its inventor, recently deceased, publicly stated that it isn't a diagnostic tool and only increases false positives. Forbes explains that Global Access Health (GAH) is a joint initiative between “The Soros Economic Development Fund and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation” and explains that Mologic Ltd is “best known today for the deep-nostril technology used to deliver rapid COVID-19 tests.” The partnership between Gates and Soros to buy this company was announced on Monday, July 19, and the CDC’s decision to phase out PCR tests was announced Saturday, July 24.

Briefly Noted: Legal Matters, Polling

Just some quick catch-up here.

From yesterday, James Bovard had an overall discussion of the DoJ prosecution of January 6 Event participants: The Coming "January 6" Train Wreck. It's worth some time if that interests you. Basically, Bovard is pointing out that, while the FBI is crowing over identifying particpants, DoJ is facing two problems. 

The first is that it appears from early cases that the trial judges are unimpressed with the cases and won't be handing out significant sentences. It's still a travesty of justice, but it's a passive-aggressive form of judicial pushback against a political witchhunt.

The second problem is that the case management--assembling evidence into coherent packages, managing discovery, etc.--is turning into a nightmare. Bovard concludes:

Second Transcript: Dr. Robert Malone Throwing Bombs

OK, what follows is a transcript of a portion--a six minute portion--of Steve Bannon interviewing Dr. Robert Malone, the inventor of the technology behind the mRNA gene therapy. You can view the video and capture facial expressions here, but this is as exact a transcription as I can make.

It's interesting to compare this interview to the longer one with Dr. Peter McCullough, which I posted earlier today. McCullough's interview stuck basically to medical issues. Malone's interview is very much about politics, and Malone is eager to discuss that aspect of the Covid regime. 

Malone's new meme is that of the "noble lie". That's the idea--originating with Plato, in his Republic, that it's OK to lie to the public for a higher good. My personal view is that Malone is being too kind in ascribing such a "noble" motive to the lying that Tony Fauci has been doing for years. The fact is, there's one helluva lot of money at stake in all this. For example, in the discussion about the forthcoming Novavax vaccine, one issue is that the government has millions and millions of Pfizer dozes in storage that are expiring. A good time to release Novavax, you think? Not so fast! The government--your government, right?--just ordered millions more dozes of Pfizer. So maybe Novavax will be delayed. 

How much do you think that was worth to Pfizer? Feel free to answer that question in terms of campaign contributions. Human lives, the public good? Eh, what are you talking about?

SWC Re The Whitmer Case

Shipwreckedcrew has a lengthy series of tweets on the Whitmer kidnapping case--or whatever it was. I'll select a few of his tweets, because he has a particular axe to grind, but you can read the entire unrolled thread here.

One of SWC's major points is that the entire case was what he calls a "confederacy of dunces". I certainly won't dispute that. What he focuses on in that respect is that the indictment is significantly flawed in an important respect: 

The indictment lists 16 overt acts to further the kidnapping conspiracy, between June 6 and October 7. However, the FBI's main informant has stated that there was no agreement on what crime to commit before August 9. The point is this: six of the overt acts alleged in the indictment to be in furtherance of the kidnapping conspiracy occurred before August 9. That means those six acts--supposedly in furtherance of a conspiracy--occurred before there was any conspiracy! How can anyone act in furtherance of a conspiracy before there's a conspiracy?

I'll accept SWC's contention that that's a problem, and that it probably points to bigger problems down the road. All that is fine. However, SWC's major target is this--he wants to argue that, because the case was a trainwreck from a legal standpoint, there cannot be any connection between the Michigan case and the January 6 Event. My contention is not that there ever was such a connection--we can't know that at this point, despite suggestive connections of some of the players. Rather, I contend that the fact that the case was a trainwreck doesn't mean there wasn't any connection between the two cases. By the same token that we don't have the facts to actually prove a connection, neither do we have the facts that would disprove the connection. Why is it so hard for SWC to simply admit that?

So, he writes:

Zero Covid

While keeping an eye on comments I've been trying to put together material for a post that will address what a number of commenters are pointing to this morning: the full court press by the medical establishment and much of the political establishment for universal vaxxing. This despite many warning signals that all is not well with the Covid response.

One way to approach this is offered by an article by Jordan Schachtel (also carried by Zerohedge:


'Zero COVID' Catastrophe: Participating Nations See New Records Across The Board


Here's what Schachtel is talking about when he references "Zero COVID"--it's a type of scientistic faith or even a cult, the chief tenet of which is that a virus can be eliminated in a matter of months through draconian social controls, including new gene therapy "vaccines":


Zero Covid, the idea that heavy-handed government edicts and population controls can permanently eliminate a coronavirus from a country, is now failing spectacularly everywhere it is being tried.

You might not read about it in western corporate press agencies, but Zero Covid nations are seeing explosions in Covid-19 cases across the board. The widely praised “success story” countries that followed the radical ideology that is Zero Covid have not only failed to contain a virus, but are now witnessing the uncontrolled spread of that virus in their population centers. The governments committed to this pseudoscientific, totalitarian adventure are scrambling for options, and responding by locking down their nations and further violating the rights of their citizens. The lid has flown off the Zero Covid pressure cooker, revealing the shortcomings of such a reckless ideological endeavor.


Schachtel then goes on to examine what's going on in Australia, Vietnam, South Korea, Singapore, Thailand, China, and New Zealand. He concludes:


Every country that has embraced the radical notion of Zero Covid has ended up failing to contain a virus and/or failing to accept that the costs of attempting to contain a virus have been exponentially worse than the benefits of containing the virus. The promised “cures” have been infinitely worse than the disease. There are no longer any “success stories” involving nations using tyrannical means in an attempt to stop a virus. Zero Covid, as any rational person could have predicted a long time ago, has failed in spectacular fashion.


That's fair enough as far as it goes, but it deserves to be explored further. For one thing, the selection of countries doesn't do justice to the broad sweep of the coercive efforts being deployed. Renewed attempts at coercion--fueled by appeals to scariants such as Delta--are being ginned up in England and France. And, as commenters here have noted, this campaign--combining disinformation with threats--is very much in evidence in the US.

Why ‘the pandemic of the unvaccinated’ is a lie

There’s little logic in anything vaccine-pushers say nowadays.


The article begins with prominent examples from recent days, beginning with Zhou's identification of 12 (subsequently doxed) persons who he said are "killing people." His spokesman, Mis-Information, and others have called on private corporations to "cancel" these persons. The common denominator is the demand that all must participate in a risky medical experiment:


For days, the mainstream media have been playing a loop of reports that 99% of COVID-19 deaths are among unvaccinated people. Besides there being no data —there’s actually evidence that the opposite is true – it’s become the basis for a stream of dehumanizing propaganda that labels half of the American adult population and most children who haven’t taken experimental COVID-19 shots as “variant factories” and “incubators” of disease.

It’s frighteningly similar to early Nazi propaganda that referred to “filthy Jews” as spreaders of disease and stirred up irrational fear and hatred of millions of people in German society. It was a government message used to justify quarantining a people, starving them, and then annihilating them.

“Look, the only pandemic we have is among the unvaccinated – and they’re killing people,” Joe Biden told reporters on Friday.

Rochelle Walensky, Director of the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), said something similar earlier that day: “This is becoming a pandemic of the unvaccinated.”

A lot of people have wanted to take off their masks for a long time and they oppose masking children, too. They’ve been forced to cover their faces by ‘freedom of choicers’ like Sebelius, to accommodate their neuroses and leftist desire to control others’ behavior, especially if isn’t sexually deviant or morally abhorrent behavior.

Two days later, Surgeon General Vivek Murthy, announced that “99.5% of deaths right now from COVID-19 in our country are happening in the unvaccinated.” The only solution, he said, was for everyone to get vaccinated.


But, as if to demonstrate that they're solid citizens of the Great Reset crowd, at least some GOPers have rushed to join the chorus. Thus we learn, regarding the only current alternate to Trump in 2024,


In his most direct effort to encourage people to get vaccinated, Governor Ron DeSantis said 95% of the new COVID cases are those who are not vaccinated.


And then there's Mitch, seemingly threatening a renewal of lockdowns:

These shots need to get into arms as rapidly as possible, or else we're gonna be back in a situation this fall like what we went through last year.


Fauci tried to pin the blame using a combination of geography and political orientation--never mind that the least vaxxed group in the country appears to be young blacks:


Why are we having red states and places in the South that are very highly ideological in one way not wanting to get vaccinations?


But Americans seem not to be buying into it. Many simply tune it all out, as background noise, but if you ask:


A Trafalgar Group poll revealed that the vast majority of Americans reject mandatory vaccines.

When asked whether respondents felt that “taking COVID vaccines should be mandatory,” or be a matter of “personal choice,” 71.4 percent said it should be a “personal choice. A paltry 21.8 percent agreed with the idea that vaccines should be “mandatory. About 6.8 percent stated they were “unsure.”


Still, the drumbeat continues, with a heavy emphasis on coercion--as in this widely reported story:


Australian MP Says Unvaccinated People "Need To Be Controlled And Restricted"


OK, he's only an MP, and allowance needs to be made for the fact that he's in Australia, which has followed a "drastically stupid" lockdown policy, but he's saying nothing that higher ups aren't also saying throughout much of the West.

Now, all this would be disturbing, even if there were no other agenda in play. However, while smart people can be taken in by ideology, the lack of transparency, the deliberate manipulation of data to feed a narrative, gives one pause. For example, while we keep hearing that "it's a pandemic of the unvaxxed," little to no evidence is presented (I'm quoting from the LifeSite article again):


The trouble is, a lot of vaccinated people in the U.S. – tens of thousands of them – are getting COVID after their 94% effective shots. By April 30, the CDC reported that there were 10,262 COVID “breakthrough” cases among those who had been fully vaccinated at least two weeks earlier. They didn’t include those who had received only one shot or count those who had the second shot five or 10 days earlier.  

And they knew this was “likely a substantial undercount of all SARS-CoV-2 infections among fully vaccinated persons.” But rather than try to determine the real numbers, the CDC announced that they were no longer going to count cases of the coronavirus in the vaccinated if they didn’t wind up hospitalized or dead.

How convenient.


Other countries--England and, especially, Israel--are also reporting large numbers of the vaxxed coming down with the disease. All of this, and especially in light of the alarmingly high rates of serious injury from the gene therapy vaccines, should raise concerns about this rush to vax the world. Something more than public health has to be in play.

What IS in play?

Yes, it's the Great Reset. The connection has been apparent for a long time. After all, didn't the frontman for the Great Reset, the space alien appearing Klaus Schwab, 




write a book about the connection? He did: Covid-19: The Great Reset. And isn't he a proponent of chip implants to control the populace? Yes, he is.

There are two men named Klaus Schwab, no doubt.

This Klaus Schwab is a terrorist at large, a character who like Dr. Fauci and Bill Gates appear like a central casting dispatch of Bond villains.

For people who haven’t traded in basic social intelligence for social credit realize that if the person who is issuing warnings of catastrophes is best friends with the very same people who will go on to create those catastrophes, those aren’t warnings. Just like for Fauci who said in 2017 that a massive pandemic would strike within Trump’s term. Those are not warnings, they are threats. Schwab is the one delivering the threats; Schwab is the terrorist.

Why is it so hard to understand that the WEF only does what’s in the interest of the IMF?

... ultimately, the old idea of social capitalism has come back in a new incarnation, a new branding, from the WEF – stakeholder capitalism and capitalism 2.0.

A critical difference that cannot be underscored enough, however, is that there is no long-term plan for the ISA (Ideological State Apparatus) of stakeholder capitalism. Worse still, center-right parties are also part of this scheme, and when they also move in lockstep with the Great Reset agenda, they can even receive positive press from the center-left (cultural left) establishment media which defines most of European and Western media at present.

 

Yes, I see that as a reference to the GOPe.


And yet again, these are all political parties that, with the rise of neo-liberalism and globalization, in the aftermath of the destruction of the USSR, have for three decades (or more) taken up the mantle of corporate-public synergy – in the actual tradition of various fascisms, while not acknowledging so.

To refine this point with clarity: fascism and social democracy share a nearly identical conception of political economy (corporate-public synergy). ... the technocracy founds itself on that shared political economy of fascism and social democracy as a starting point, ...

Adding to this, the social media corporate technocrats who are committed to the Great Reset, use the imaginary threat of ‘the far right’, and now ‘vaccine hesitancy’, to pursue a censorship policy indistinguishable from totalitarianism (of either far left or far right).

Because regular people no longer possess political power in systems where corporate rule has replaced constitutional republics, the devastating costs will be pushed downwards.


There we are. Behold the Covidian dystopia that will, they hope, give birth to the Great Reset. This is why there's no letup. This is why every seemingly new figure like DeSantis must be coopted. What is to be done?

UPDATED: Watch Out For That Nightstand!

New update re SA Richard (Dick?) Trask of Kalamazoo. I picked this up via Red State, who got it from the Detroit News.

Remember that "domestic incident" that got Trask--who happens to have been the case agent in the Whitmer "kidnapping" case--arrested on a felony charge? We've got more details. Not all the details, but enough to feed one's imagination:


An FBI agent at the center of the plot to kidnap and kill Gov. Gretchen Whitmer is accused of jumping on his wife in bed and smashing her head against a nightstand after a dispute stemming from a swingers’ party, according to court records.

Special Agent Richard Trask, 39, of Kalamazoo, was charged Monday with assault with intent to do great bodily harm, less than murder following an incident Sunday.

An affidavit filed by the Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s Office in Kalamazoo County District Court said Trask’s wife had bloody lacerations to the right side of her head and “blood all over chest, clothing arms and hand,” as well as “severe” bruising to her neck and throat.


You may recall from this morning that one of the defense lawyers says there's a recording that features another FBI agent, Henrik Impola, discussing the possibility of creating "disarray and chaos" for defense lawyers. No comment on how the prosecutors view these FBI antics. "Disarray and chaos" sounds about right--for the prosecution.

Last week, the lawyer for one defendant filed a motion that included texts from an FBI agent to a key informant, the Iraq War veteran, directing him to draw specific people into the conspiracy — potential evidence of entrapment that he said the government “inadvertently disclosed.” He is requesting all texts sent and received by that informant, and other attorneys are now considering motions that accuse the government of intentionally withholding evidence of entrapment. -BuzzFeed


It's not conclusive, but I have to believe that the prosecution is reeling a bit.

Early this morning commenter Frank posted a comment regarding a major update in the VAERS database which brought the total acknowledged vax deaths to over 12K. At the time I expressed some skepticism simply because other major sources--people with scientific backgrounds who have been tracking deaths closely--hadn't jumped on this. However ...

Malone Comments Re ADE

Dr. Robert Malone, inventor of the mRNA "vaccine" technology runs an interesting Twitter feed. Unfortunately, much of what he writes is geared toward professionals in his field and is, thus, over my head. Yesterday he published a tweet that referenced ADE--Antibody Dependent Enhancement. Critics of the mRNA gene therapy medications have focused on this phenomenon. ADE is a real thing, but the question is whether it has or will occur in human populations in the context of Covid-19. Here's the Wikipedia summary in that regard:


ADE was a concern during late clinical stages of vaccine development against COVID-19.

ADE was observed in animal studies during the development of coronavirus vaccines, but as of 14 December 2020 no incidents had been observed in human trials. "Overall, while ADE is a theoretical possibility with a COVID-19 vaccine, clinical trials in people so far have not shown that participants who received the vaccine have a higher rate of severe illness compared to participants who did not receive the vaccine."


Thus, the question, as a practical matter, becomes: Are we out of the ADE woods or does it remain a possibility. Highly reputable scientists insist that it does remain a possibility, but I'm not aware that any of the scariants are part of that phenomenon. Or, not yet.

In this regard, here is Malone's tweet on the subject. To be honest, I'm not entirely sure what he's saying. See what you think. This lack of information and of transparency is a huge part of the problem we face. It seems to me that authorities whose job it is to push information out and to inform the public--a theme that Malone emphasizes continuously--have been and remain determined to hide the ball from the people most concerned.

Comments, Ashli Babbitt, January 6 Event

I used to have a sidebar notice stating that all comments here are monitored by me personally. I see that notice is no longer present, although I didn't remove it. Perhaps it somehow fell into the category of things that Blogger no longer enables. Who knows?

In any event, I do actually still read all comments before enabling them. Some comments I don't enable, although I try to err on the side of enabling. I've never enunciated a policy, and don't plan on doing so now. However, a few related categories of comments that I do regularly reject are those that advocate violence, assassination, or the view that one segment of the American population is planning to nuke some other segment. I'm not explaining why I reject those comments, beyond the view that they don't add anything to the blog and may detract. In that connection, I note that the PTA/NAACP woman who got her 15 minutes of fame by shouting "Let them die!" re anti-CRT people has been forced out of the PTA. The NAACP continues to defend her, but will IMO end up regretting that decision.

Regarding Ashli Babbitt. My view is that she's dead--just in case anyone was wondering what my view is. Not long ago I commented in agreement with another commenter who wrote to the effect that, There's a reason Ashli Babbitt's family is suing for wrongful death, and it's not because she's alive and well and in hiding. Obviously, if there are developments in the Ashli Babbitt story I'll try to cover them if I have some perspective to offer. In the meantime, I won't be enabling comments that link to theories about Babbitt's continuing life. As in other areas, I try to err on the side of legitimate and wide ranging commenting, but sometimes have to draw a line.

Potpourri Post: Inflation, Panic Pandemic, Deep State

Breitbart is reporting that a new poll shows that Americans are very concerned about inflation--a finding that I've been predicting. The good or bad news, depending on how you look at it, is that the reasons for the concern are unlikely to vanish before Election 2022.

"Overwhelmingly." That's what I meant when I said "very."


Voters in battleground districts are overwhelmingly concerned about inflation and the rising cost of living, according to a recent poll commissioned by the American Action Network to show to the House Republican leadership this week.

Eighty-eight percent of the respondents said they are worried about the rising cost of living, and 53 percent had said they were extremely or very worried. When asked about the rising inflation, 86 percent of the respondents said they were worried, and about half (50 percent) of the respondents said they were extremely or very worried.

More so, one part that shows good support for Republicans is that 75 percent of the respondents also agreed it is the “Democrat spending proposals that could cause inflation.” Due to these results, 84 percent of the respondents said they would vote generic Republican, versus the 10 percent that said they would vote for the generic Democrat.


Ouch.

Briefly Noted: Schools, Cops, Super Spreading Dems

I have errands to run today, but here are two worthwhile articles that point toward the future--November, 2022.

The first appeared in the NYPost yesterday. It's basically a simple anecdotal recitation of the attitudes of increasing numbers of parents in New York City. The point is, however, that if NYC parents are getting this fed up, if NYC parents are increasingly asserting their rights as parents against the diktats of the State apparatus, then imagine what parental sentiment across the country must be like.

This is something that I emphasized before Election 2020, and return to regularly. Nothing hits home with parents and thus with voters like matters that affect their children. We're seeing this with the revolt against CRT imposed indoctrination in schools, and the revolt against unscientific masking is also gaining momentum. Candidates and political parties who ignore this reality of human nature do so at their peril:

Today In Socio-Politics

You may have seen during the past week the results of a  Economist-YouGov poll. Zhou is put at a 49% approval rating. However, as usual, the devil is in the details. Those details are probed at AmThinker this morning: Poll-dancing: Is Biden really at 49 percent approval? Follow the link for the details, but here's a spoiler--the internals of the poll are as skewed as you'd expect. The takeaway is that Zhou's approval is likely significantly lower.

The amount of demographic jiggering that pollsters have to engage in is probably a result of the changing political landscape. Earlier this week Victor Davis Hanson observed:


The two parties are switching class constituents. Some 65% of the Americans making more than $500,000 a year are Democrats, and 74% of those who earn less than $100,000 a year are Republicans, according to IRS statistics.


With that kind of switch going on, it's getting harder and harder for pollsters to get the results they want.
