this blog develops the idea that a theory of man in history can be worked out around the theme that man's self expression in culture and society is motivated by the desire to find meaning in man's existence. i proceed by summarizing seminal works that provide insights into the dynamics of this process, with the view that the culmination of this exploration was reached with god's self revelation in jesus. i'll hopefully also explore the developments that followed this event.
I have a regularly scheduled eye exam today, in a couple of hours. That will include dilating the pupils, so I probably won't be in condition for working at the computer for most of the day.
Having eye's that were designed evidently by Dr. Mauro, I empathize. My trip in next week, is to have second surgery, for hazing on the lenses that replaced my original - Being old, I note my first pair of glasses had "Roy Rodgers" pistols at the hinges. I was the man, at 5 years. Godspeed my friend, while I shy from commenting, this personal item, was engendering of comment by a fellow "eyeball" veteran.
