That's the real story--CBS breaks the MSM's code of Omertà to confirm that the FBI is in possession of the Hunter Biden laptop and says it's not Russian disinformation. I understand. You knew that already, but CBS. The question is, Will any other outlet break ranks?
Via The FBI & DOJ concur with DNI Ratcliffe’s assessment that Hunter Biden's laptop and the emails in question were not part of a Russian disinformation campaign. FBI does has possession of the Hunter Biden laptop in question.
Rig for red!ReplyDelete
There is a tendency to look at these current events and view things solely through the prism of . . . where is the DOJ/FBI on this? Why aren't they doing something? This could be the greatest security threat we have every seen if Biden is compromised (for reals, not fake news)?ReplyDelete
But that is just one side of the story. Now imagine you're Joe Biden's family, campaign staff, and fellow-traveler Democrats and Deep State operatives. Are you really sleeping well at night? Are you sure you want to debate tomorrow? When will the next shoe drop, and what will it include? How will this disaster effect down-ballot Democrats in the upcoming election? What will actually happen after November 3rd?
Which side of that equation would you prefer to be on?
I wonder if Biden is thinking if he doesn't get the White House he could get the Big House.Delete
Is this the first crack in the dam?ReplyDelete
It only takes one to break the wall. Like Humpty Dumpty, cannot put the resistance back together again.ReplyDelete
What's also interesting is the release late today was not billed as the bigger release tomorrow...maybe it is, but maybe they are getting this out of the way now so they can go back to more Joe Biden relevant corruption. A child abuse scandal from a kid can't (well, shouldn't) be held against Joe unless he helped cover it up. All the pay for play stuff, though, looks to have benefitted Joe Biden and is all fair game in my view.ReplyDelete
Never mind what I said about the child abuse issue...if this story is wrong, it is ickier than I could imagine.Delete
The text message was from Hunter to his Father, and was about inappropriate behavior vis a vis a family member....this sinks Joe if true. I cannot imagine him being a viable candidate for president, and I cannot imagine him ignoring questions about him covering up his son's abuse of a minor family member.
Major Garrett and Herridge are legitimate reporters at CBS- CBS faces a choice, I think- either let these two do their work, or publicly fire them for doing so. Sometimes the mediaswine are in a no win situation, and this looks like one of them.ReplyDelete
The democrat way is wrong for America. And plenty of rinos are part of it.ReplyDelete
Lock em up.
Agreed with a twist.Delete
It isn't RINOs, it's just Republicans. People have developed the habit of wishing the party was what they want it to be vs what the party actually is.
Since the days of H.W. Bush conservatives have not had a party to speak of. The Republicans went global and never looked back.
It's really the die hard party supporters whom are the RINOs today. Even after 4 years of trying to slit Trump's throat they hold their noses and pretend that the RNC is not the DNC².
Conservatives just don't have a "side" anymore beyond the few freedom caucus members floating around.
I can dig it, devilman. All the way back to Goldwater, republicans will find a way to cave.Delete
The Left's socialist/communst "ways" and beliefs are not merely "wrong" for America, they are fundamentally un-American and anti-American. But they would have everyone believe the exact opposite. A lot of people, deep down, know this or at least sense it.Delete

Hunter and his partner Archer were on the Burisma BoD to help make Burisma/owner's legal problems go away.
Interesting to note the conflict of interest that existed here (probably not a US crime, but possibly a Ukraine crime?) -- Archer and Hunter B had a "deal" with Burisma to help "fix" the legal problems with this PR campaign to rehab Burisma/owner's reputation by getting US officials to burnish Burisima/owner's reputation to Ukraine officials, and get Prosecutor fired, WHILE THEY WERE BOTH ON BURISMA'S BoD, and had a fiduciary responsibility to it's shareholders!
I love the "if you are being vague on purpose, wink, wink" comment. It's as if the Burisma exec is worried about putting out in writing the particulars of committing a crime, and then goes ahead and spells it out anyway.Delete
Most of these type of things can be criminal under FCPA and a couple different laws. Also, tying their role together with the Big Guy's bragging about getting the prosecutor fired over payment of US foreign aid most probably violates a ton of laws!!! Unless they were totally random and unconnected...hahaDelete
Who says it broke no US laws? btw, link doesn't work...
