Adam Housely: Lots Going On Behind The Scenes

The tweets speak for themselves as far as the amount of investigation goes. It makes sense, but we'll have to wait and see. The fact is, so many politicians--but especially Dems like Pelosi and Schiff--have been getting money from Ukraine that the possibility that the Biden's wheeling and dealing there would provide an opening to a wider range of US political actors would have been at the forefront of every investigator's mind. Indeed, the milking of foreign relationships in exchange for influence--from China to Russia and every country in between--has become a major source of funding.

Nevertheless, two points remain:

1. To allow this to continue so close to a national election, with a presidential candidate as a major subject, without a heads up to the American people, is troubling. Maybe successful prosecution should be sacrificed for the good of the country, settling for exposure. That the American people should be allowed to go into an election without facts such as these just isn't right.

2. Now that the cat is out of the bag, shouldn't Barr make some statement to give the American people an idea of what's going on?

Be that as it may, notice the question Housely's agent sources say needs to be asked: Why wasn't Congress informed? The answer couldn't be more obvious: Because major subjects of the investigation--assuming the truth and accuracy of Housely's source information--are in Congress itself. Could be a world historic two weeks coming up.

H/T Commenter EZ:

1/2 Breaking: Multiple FBI sources ... The FBI investigation into the laptop has been ongoing since December of 2019 ... there's a lot going on behind the scenes. A lot. There is a massive amount of info.
From multiple agents: "They knew right away it wasn't a Russia operation. It went right to the top of the FBI because a Biden name was attached. That's normal with any well known name. The question that needs asking, why wasn't any info about Russia/Ukraine shared with Congress?"

  1. Some questions answer themselves: if FBI is digging in deep, but didn't notify Congress, it stands to reason that one reason for NOT sharing the investigatory findings with Congress is because members of Congress are among the criminals against whom they are building cases!

Schiff-for-Brains™ has, IIRC, some significant ties to Ukrainian big wheels. FBI could not very well brief HPSCI when Schiff is both the Chairman AND a target of the investigation for taking bribes from Ukraine!

IF that's true, it also explains why FBI/DOJ have been going so slowly on this -- they have to get every detail right before pulling the trigger and unsealing indictments. This could be ABSCAM on steroids!

    1. I well remember that ABSCAM was a major turning point for the Bureau, when the Bureau was put under tight political control.

Housely's sources, their info, has the ring of truth to me. The whole point of a bureaucracy is to prevent screwups through redundancy and also to CYA. So, of course this case would go to the top, Wray, and of course Wray couldn't possibly sit on it without talking to the top guys at DoJ. The info might conceivably get intercepted between the USA and Barr, but not between Wray and the top levels at DoJ--that's a separate line of communication.

There's one thing in all this that still puzzles me. I'll try to get to it.

    2. I dunno... I keep applying Occams razor. And in addition to it having redundant complex outcomes which should not be, the only other one is incompetence.

After years of this drip drip, 4D chess, trust the plan, and on and on and on... I just don't believe any of it, and I also still have a hard time attributing the deep-seated malice of it being intentional leverage.

I just don't think federal bureaucracies are that good at pulling off master plans. If there was some triple dog dare secret case or plan out there, the amount of people who touch it would not be able to contain it.

    3. We should be so lucky to have FBI take down Schiff-for-Brains™ in an ABSCAM-like sting...

  2. Neither Joe nor anyone else who is "in" the Demorat Party is actually in charge of the Agenda. They aren't footing the bill or playing red-light-green-light with Antifa, Black Bloc, BLM, the media companies, DS, or a myriad of other allied organizations/entity's attempting to overthrow the constitutional order. They're not in charge of jack really. Joe is, and always was, an expendable asset who was allowed to run his side grifts as long as he was always available and willing to simultaneously advance and obfuscate the Agenda in the public sphere. But Hunter, through his lack of control and acting on Joe's greed, has precipitated a major disruption.

Trump is a speed-bump, but the array of threads that might be pulled out of those tens of thousands of e-mails/texts, combined with the threads that might be pulled from Hillary's e-mails, have the potential to unravel a huge tapestry of deceit. Is it possible that the chaos that has been foisted upon us was more a reaction to that LT/HD falling into the wrong hands than fear of Trump being re-elected. That the Executive (my term), or Davos Man if you prefer Mark's term, are truly fearful of what might be exposed and are going all in to ensure things are too chaotic for distillation, serving up, and digestion by the public. Hunters e-mails must all be released into the public and all of Hillary's declassed and released.

As sick as they might be, Hunter's selfies are, in the big scheme of things, much less important than finding out who's dining with whom, as Codavilla might say.

This is in line with what I mean, though I am not as confident as Mr. Prentice that this is the beginning of the end; more like the end of the beginning, and then only if it does not stop at mere individual corruption, but demonstrate "organized" corruption.

    2. Prentice’s is a powerful article. Should be a Must Read. An excerpt:

As this careens into the debate, as this careens into voting, as this careens into Election Day, the ultimate narrative will be set. The doomsday clock will start. All the corrupt actors will be pointed out. All of them will rue the day they couldn't get rid of Donald Trump. He, above most anyone, knows just how corrupt these people are. He above anyone knows how to handle them. He, above all, knows what's all coming out in the next weeks.

It's going to be an avalanche of material. It's going to be a number of fires even Google, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, the DNC, the Bidens, the media, the corrupt government officials, the whole shooting match, will not be able to handle. If they all overtly held emergency meetings with each other, they'd never stop the flood. When Trump roared, you know he had one of his famous moments, that moment when he knows how and when to bring this to a head. Trump the narrative-builder, Trump the destroyer will be unleashing hell on these people.

Anyone who has seen him operate knows. This is his time. This is how the beginning of the end of the swamp, or should I say the sewer, begins. This is the kind of chaos these smartest people in the world, ever, haven't seen before. Algorithms will not help them. Censorship will not help them. It will be a rushing mighty wind, coming to destroy all those who didn't understand that their corruption could be turned on them.

This is going to be epic. Corruption will be their end; it's just a matter of time. And Trump will have four years to finish their corruption.

    2. This report from Housely is no different than any NYT or CNN report supported by anonymous sources. Multiple FBI sources is the equivalent of Atlantic's "four sources close to the President".
In the meantime, Rudi and Bannon keep saying more bombshells from the hard drive and October is slipping by with very little time for more October surprises.

    3. I think the circumstances give his report more credibility than simply the word of anonymous sources. For example, the use of a subpoena to obtain the laptop indicates a determination of predication and the opening of a full investigation. The FBI's confirmation that they have the laptop and that they agree with Ratcliffe's assessment is further confirmation of investigative work being done. Knowing that there is/was a full investigation makes Housely's source's claims that this "went to the top" totally credible. It's simply how the FBI works.

  5. Taking the macrocosmic view, a deep space level of analysis of our small blue planet:

I'm not sure it matters. Whose vote is going to change? We act like we're dealing with rational people. J. Toobin, and say what you will about him, he's no idiot, actually masturbates to some Zoom Trump destruction fantasy. He's going to change his vote?

Peter Strzok just picked up a gig at Georgetown, an erstwhile Jesuit university so big on social justice they can't even see white people anymore. General Flynn? Flynn? Bueller?

    This is not about evidence.

In the case of the H. Biden hard drive, my vote is the FBI was involved in some sort of coverup. The past is prologue. How dark are these times?

If you told me the Dem plan was to elect Biden and then 25th Amendment him out of office two days later to install that moron from CA in the white house, I'd believe it.

This is what we're up against [via LI]:

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QIvKmas-2vc&feature=emb_logo

We keep thinking it's just a handful of crazies. That handful of crazies is running just about every single school and institution in America, including the military, which, to my mind, is now in the complete control of war-mongering stupids.

This isn't about reason. It's about power and control(cf. Gramsci, Zizek, et. al.).

    We're at the cudgel stage.

The idea that Joe and his kid and the Clintons could work their magic in re China, Ukraine, etc., and no one in Washington, all those damn lobbyists, was the wiser is a non-starter.

  6. What could cause Bill Barr to stay silent?

My guess a combination of things:

Same Delaying causes as Durham perhaps?

    I think Mark’s right on ABSCAM‘s legacy.

And Wray, and other deep state allies are happy for any excuse to delay till after the election.

And Wray is trying very hard not to being accused of doing a Comey - Hillarys emails.

Plus the fear of the fear of the FBI / DOJ being accused of being politicized against Trumps enemies may be a factor. The reality is their actions are actually appearing very political, and biased against Trump.

And with the House Democrats do have links to Ukrainian dirty politics and money. Manaforts faked ledger...

Which happens to work pretty well for Trump's campaign narrative. It'd make great reality TV, but it's happening in real time reality.

  7. -->why wasn't any info about Russia/Ukraine shared with Congress?<--

    1) To prevent leaks.
    2) To protect the Deep State.

Perhaps the Russia/Ukraine info was not new, as it merely confirmed or repeated what was already known.

How much of the situation is a chaotic result of the FBI/DOJ having been played/manipulated by media/FusionGPS in the Russian hoax? Partisan media happy to play along then, not interested now.

  8. Worth considering the likelihood that the Impeachment over the silly phone call with the Ukraine president was genned up precisely to shut down Giuliani's investigations in Ukraine that were starting to uncover the real corruption involving Ukrainians and US diplomats/politicians/and their family members.

    1. The timing sure looks suspicious. Not enough information to confirm anything like that happened....yet. But I definitely think it should be looked into.

All of it (fake impeachment, the Russia hoax, and every other attempted pseudo-scandal) was intended to prevent Trump from exposing how deep and wide the corruption goes. Remember the public tantrum Hitlery threw at Donna Brazile after a televised interview in 2016? Among her screeches: “If that bastard wins, we’ll all hang from nooses.” It ALL makes sense now.

    3. "genned up precisely to shut down Giuliani's investigations in Ukraine "

Very likely one of their goals, don't forget their modus operandi is usually "accuse others of what you're doing yourself". That usually ends in "he said she said", and then nobody knows what to believe. Sort of worked too, Giuliani was set back almost a year?

Also, wasn't that one of the reasons Biden was running, in case dirt came out they could claim "it's just politics".

That remark has never really been explained, has it? A very odd and rather significant thing to say. What, exactly, was she referring to? Here's another quote, from All The President's Men:

"People are not talking. And it's the way they're not talking. It's unnatural."

    1. Yes, this is what I now think needs to be done. I understand why Bannon and Giuliani haven't done it- they are afraid of being accused of disseminating child pornography- a charge I am certain the leftists are looking to impose given even a small opening.

    2. Anything dumped on the net and crowd-researched by 4chan types will be dismissed by MSM and Dems as "internet conspiracy theories," and will die on the vine.

It has to be "orchestrated" by people who know how to manipulate the MSM to get a coherent story out, even if much of the MSM wants to bury it, to create a critical mass of public interest in where this leads.

  10. The FBI is a bag of crooks. They kept the laptop to use it as power against Biden "if" he were elected just as Comey tried to use the dossier for the same reason. Tonight they made a BIG deal out of emails from the "proud boys" as if it had one fucking thing to do with influence in an election. The FBI is a back of crap.

Although waiting until after the election and taking the chance that the major Grifter himself could actually be elected to the highest office in the land has us scratching our heads. Was the FBI actually "investigating" or were they "covering up"?

Been having the same thought based on personal knowledge of a case where Mueller's FBI feigned the former while doing the latter.
