Flynn Case Finally Dismissed

H/T to Anonymous commenter. Techno Fog reports that Sullivan has finally dismissed the Flynn case, following the Pardon. This comes after he started making noises about attempting to contest the motion to dismiss as well as the pardon, by inviting more briefing. I take it someone higher up the judicial food chain finally told him: Enough already! Knock-It-Off!

If this is it, I have to say I find it very unsatisfactory. Moreover, if Durham doesn't come up with some significant indictments I'll be very angry at the DoJ handling of the Flynn case--my only reason for patience in the past was that I thought DoJ was keeping cooperating witnesses under wraps. But there's more going on in the world than this, so I'll just leave this to Techno Fog:

  1. When it comes time for Michael Flynn and Powell to sue the miscreants that persecuted him, Judge Sullivan should be in the list of defendants.

    1. He deserves to be there, but I suppose he doesn't get held responsible--ever--for what he pulled.

  2. Absolutely, and included in that list of miscreants' (see seditious conspirators) should be Barack Obama, Joe Biden & Susan Rice.

  3. I find the whole thing rather incomprehensible. Why did they go to so much trouble to persecute general flynn? I mean, after they got him fired from the administration you would think that would be enough to accomplish whatever nefarious aims they had at proecting themselves or sticking it to him, maybe team Mueller picked it up because they were afraid Trump would hire him back or that he was going to "talk." That's what I assumed any way once Sullivan started his shenanigans. It seemed that they must have had powerful reasons to flex their corruption muscles this much, but once Trump pardoned him then it was going to be Flynn can speak! but little did he speak, no tales from the deep state. I confess I don't know what to make of it any longer, though it is surpassingly and tellingly odd behavior by a Federal Judge and cries out for some explanation.

    1. Flynn knew far too much about what Obama & Co. were up to. He had to go down.

    2. Makes sense except why doesn’t he tell them to back off or I will bring you down. Would seem he would have plenty of leverage to do so.

    3. I just read somewhere today that Flynn, Roger Stone, and Paul Manafort were the three hollering out the loudest against the B.S. that was being claimed through the non-FBI non-CIA third party "examination" of the DNC server(by Crowdstrike, iirc), that it was the Russians hacking the DNC server. So it's no surprise the DS had it in for Flynn, Manafort, and Stone.

(Might have been Dan Bongino where I read that, and I think it was.) It might have been in Bongino's article about the recently declassified Spygate docs where one of the FBI said that the leak was done "by our guys." And as Bongino pointed out, what does that really mean???

  4. @Mark - remember that Flynn was a life-long Democrat first. Second, that he was vociferous in his opposition to the Obama/Biden prosecutions of war in the ME, and was especially vocal about how badly Obama/Jarret et all screwed the pooch with regards to Iran - basically pumping money to the Mullahs who then used those funds to murder Americans, and to arm up vs. Flynn's own men in the field. That's first and second.

But maybe bigger than that is to remember that the spying on Trump was being done BEFORE CrossFire Hurricaine. The 'conspirators' were runing an illegal surveillance op during in the run up to the 2016 primaries, again involving Hillary Clinton. When Mike Rogers (Head of NSA) got wind of abuses of form 702's, he ordered an audit which shut down the illegal spying.

EVERYthing after that (I think April, 2016?) was done to try and make what they were doing legal, so they could re-open the pipeline - this is where FISA abuses happened.

I don't think many people have put together that when Trump claims 'we caught them, we caught them all' isn't hyperbole.

When the spying on Trump was 'approved' via lies to to FISA, Admirial Mike Rogers - and some say Flynn - also stood up a counter-intel operation listening to everything the 'conspirators' were up to, INCLUDING election rigging and their plans for what we now call the 'coup'.

In fact, I'm pretty sure it was Admiral Mike Rogers who personally went to see Trump and let him know he was being spied on.

That evidence rolled out in December of 2017 for all to see naming names like Brennan, Clapper and Comey.

So, not only was Flynn the main architect in changing how fast information is shared on the battlefield (revolutionary), he was pretty loud about what a complete cluster Obama was in foreign policy, particularly Iran.

  5. Yes, apparently Sullivan must have received a phone call from someone above him and told to cut out this crap.
