Losers Of The World Unite!

I got this courtesy of TGP, via Baker City Herald:

A Clackamas man and his teenage son were both arrested early Monday after an Oregon State Police trooper saw the pair apparently racing at over 100 mph in separate vehicles on Interstate 84 near North Powder.
The father, Michael Forest Reinoehl, 48, was charged with driving under the influence of a controlled substance, recklessly endangering another person and unlawful possession of a firearm. He was also cited for driving while uninsured, driving while suspended, and for speeding.
His 17-year-old son, whose name was not listed in a police report, was charged with driving under the influence of marijuana and unlawful possession of a firearm.

Scratch the surface just a little bit and that's who these Antifa/BLM folks are: Losers. And that's the Dem base now.

  2. IF they only could have made it closer to Portland, they wouldn't have any tickets!

  3. This was at 1247 AM. He had his 11 year-old daughter in the car. What stupidity!

  4. Yep. 48 year old professional snowboarder who provides security for protesters and rioters are who we now are faced against. Oh.... say it isn’t so. Shaking in my boots. LOL.

  5. Breitbart this am reports that the snowboarder suspect of the murder of Aaron Danielson in Portland was rioting at Mayor Ted Wheeler's condo last night. Where is the FBI if Portland police will not arrest him?

You can bet that DoJ/FBI is all over this.

    2. Only the good old HuffPost could twist its story so that the shooting was the fault of the Patriot Prayer group...

    3. I'm sure there are others capable of that, too. But it was the only handy link to help make the bigger point.

    4. Fascinating (in a morbid sort of way) that there is yet to be a warrant issued for the shooter's arrest.

Not clear what federal crime FBI/DOJ can go after him on at this point.

    5. The focus of the feds at this time is certainly on nationwide coordination of the violence. They are certainly trying to find all links involving the shooter--social, organizational, financial, everything.

    6. Re FBI, mightn’t they have investigative tools re this individual and his prior activities that the Portland PD might not have access to?

  6. DHS acting chief Chad Wolf threatens to replace Portland police with federal agents

    https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/news/dhs-acting-chief-chad-wolf-threatens-to-replace-portland-police-with-federal-agents

From that article a name I hadn’t heard before:

More than 100 surged DHS personnel remain on call in Portland. The Pacific Northwest Youth Liberation Front, an anti-capitalist, anti-fascist group led by three teenagers, organized much of the early morning rioting that has resulted in millions of dollars in damage to the city.

    Meanwhile:

March to Portland Mayor Ted Wheeler’s home declared riot Monday as burning debris thrown into building: Key takeaways

More than 200 people on Monday night marched to the Pearl District condominium tower where Portland Mayor Ted Wheeler lives to demand his resignation.

The demonstration quickly turned destructive as some in the crowd lit a fire in the street, then placed a picnic table from a nearby business on top of the fire to feed the blaze. People shattered windows and broke into a ground-floor dental office took items including a chair, also added to the fire, and office supplies.

Shortly after 11 p.m., a bundle of newspapers was set ablaze and thrown into a ground-floor storefront in the residential building.

Fire in building put out But it’s a 16-story building with 114 condo units (businesses on main floor).

Will this get Wheeler’s attention? How do all his neighbors feel about this?

  7. Mark,

    Is this important?

    From Don Surber:

ITEM 12: ABC reported, "Current and former national security officials are raising concerns over Attorney General William Barr's recent decision to remove the head of a Justice Department office that helps ensure federal counterterrorism and counterintelligence activities are legal – and replace him with a political appointee with relatively limited experience.

"'It's very alarming,' said Katrina Mulligan, who worked for the Obama administration in several national security roles and then, after President Donald Trump's inauguration, joined the Office of Law and Policy in the Justice Department's National Security Division.

"For much of the past decade, that little-known office has been led by Deputy Assistant Attorney General Brad Wiegmann, a 23-year career public servant, not a political appointee. But two weeks ago, Wiegmann, 54, was told he is being reassigned and replaced with a political appointee, according to a Justice Department spokesman and sources familiar with the matter."

    1. I read that this morning and probably should have written something.

Obviously if "Current and former national security officials are raising concerns" then Barr is doing something good and important. Where was this guy during the Obama years?

Is he being looked at for prosecution? We don't know. First time I've seen the name.

    2. Barr may have had concerns about Wiegmann’s attitude toward the collection of NSA data. Could even have to do with housecleaning following the Durham investigation?

      From a 2014 article:

Experts say NSA rules leave privacy vulnerable

      Excerpt:

SA spokeswoman Vanee Vines said all of the agency’s work has a foreign intelligence purpose and that the NSA deletes data it accidentally collects.

And during a hearing last week, Deputy Assistant Attorney General Brad Wiegmann said a review of all foreignness determinations found an error rate of less than .1 percent.

“So that equates to essentially less than one in a thousand cases in which we’re finding that NSA is making erroneous foreignness determinations,” he said.

We now know what was really going on.

Wiegmann was an Obama administration political appointee in 2009.

    3. Of course. That's what all the 702 searches were for. I'll guess that it wasn't Wiegmann who brought that to Mike Rogers' attention.

    4. I don’t believe Barr does anything without having a good reason.

    5. And there have been quiet statements coming from DoJ and DHS assuring us that they are investigating Antifa. When Trump talked about the 6 people on the plane, and we hear that Antifa jerks are traveling from Portland to other cities, you know that there's intensive investigation of every aspect of this.
