Polling: Is The Third Time The Charm?

CTH is reporting that a third major national poll is now reporting support for Trump among African Americans in the low to mid thirties range: 33-35%. We've seen Rasmussen and Emerson College come up with those results in the last few weeks, but the new poll is NPR/PBS and Marist, which would generally be considered to slant liberal. You may wish to simply refer to CTH, as the presentation may be a bit easier: Third National Poll Outlining 33/34 Percent Black and Minority Voter Support for President Trump.

This has to be mind blowing for Dems. What effect will it have on Impeachment Theater? It's becoming increasingly apparent that impeachment is a niche, white-liberal, thing.

Agreed. Its also an elitist thing which makes the movement of blacks to Trump pretty logical. I'm looking forward to seeing the same w Hispanic poll results, too.

If the Dems lose big chunks of these two blocks (which, Maxine Waters POV notwithstanding), they not only lose Pennsylvania and Michigan, but they lose North Carolina and Florida, and maybe Arizona and Colorado.

    Game over.

    (He said, wishfully.)

  2. A reader on CTH makes a major point, about

"the massive let down of the 0bama years.
I think it’s hard to grasp the elation among Blacks, on the “historic” election of Mr. Hope & Change, and the corresponding let down, after eight years of him taking the Black Vote for granted, in favor of his radical agenda, which hurt all Americans, regardless of color."

Once the Obama/ Farrakhan photo came out, I can see how many blacks would think, "no wonder he sold us out (even to Wall St.)."

    1. Do you remember the "For Obama I will be [a rocket scientist, a brain surgeon, etc.]" video? I tried to look it up on youtube just now, but couldn't find it.

    2. It was a terrible terrible letdown. The first black president, who could have done so much for the country, especially blacks and other POC's, and instead he left a legacy of dirt and corruption.

    3. And, of ginning-up BLM/ SJW hate of whites, starting no later than the Trayvon agitprop.

    4. Oh, actually, it started much earlier than that. You could probably include la Michelle's "first time I'm proud of my country" statement in 08 under that heading, and definitely the Henry Louis Gates arrest controversy in 09.

    5. Yeah, the Gates affair was suspect, but at least he was a Harvard Somebody, who Obama may have felt a need to suck up to.
Trayvon was a total nobody, but by then OWS was on the loose, and Obama needed something (e.g. the race card) to steer the Left away from scrutiny of his Wall St. pals.

  3. This is looking like a perfect storm heading straight for Demedia. My gut says they won't impeach. What then? OIG report, Durham report, if needed after those Trump will de-classify all. Short of an economic collapse, Demedia is done, possibly for a long while.

    1. These polls show actual pluralities of Blacks opposed to impeachment.

  4. If Trump won just 33% of the non-white vote, he would win every state not on a coast except for Vermont and IL. He won 20% in 2016. 33% would win him VA, CO, NM, NV, NH, MN, and he would have an outside shot at winning NJ, too.
