I'm sure everyone's aware that the US MIlitary launched a coordinated strike on Tucker Carlson yesterday--in retaliation for that video of his that I included yesterday. That's what our storied military has come to. This morning Don Surber comments:
ITEM 2: The Daily Caller won the headline of the day with "U.S. military launches coordinated strikes against American TV host."The story cited a headline at the Official Taxpayer-Paid DOD web site, "Press Secretary Smites Fox Host That Dissed Diversity in U.S. Military."...Unless Tucker Carlson (the host in question) made a factual error, the Pentagon press secretary should shut his trap. But our military is politicized and part of this anti-American cabal of Washington politicians, the media, the deep state, and corporate America that are hellbent on destroying everything that made America great....The spokesman in question, retired Admiral John Kirby, is a former CNN commentator, which raises questions of ethics. The new Marine Hymn: "From the Halls of Tucker Carlson, to the shores of New Jersey. We will fight the P.C. battles, for the L, G, B, and T."
Nevertheless, it is serious that this is the state of our polity.
UPDATE: Oh, here's a name from the Russia Hoax past, also via Don Surber: Marc Elias. Call this one, Federal Judge launches coordinated strike on top DNC lawyer:
ITEM 10: Bloomberg reported, "One of the Democrat Party’s top election lawyers was hit with sanctions by a federal court for violating ethics rules in a suit against Texas over straight-ticket voting, a rare rebuke for a seasoned attorney following months of tumultuous litigation over the November election."Marc Elias and other lawyers with Perkins Coie LLP were ordered Friday by the U.S. Court of Appeals in New Orleans to pay legal fees and double costs to Texas. The order was issued in a suit Elias filed in August on behalf of the Democrats’ Senate and congressional campaign committees."
"Rare" rebuke? I'd call it pretty much unprecedented. Follow the link at Elias' name if you need a refresher course re Elias. He was an integral part of every aspect of the Hillary coverups and all related hoaxes--the Russian "hacks", Fusion GPS, Chris Steele, FBI. You name the swampy dealings and he was there. So, it's nice to see this on his record.
I just wonder how long Tucker will last before they shut him down.ReplyDelete
He must have a very good contract.
IMO Tucker and Laura Ingraham are the only real reason to tune in to Fox. The Murdoch sons are running the company and they are left leaning managers, so who knows. If Tucker goes does go they can expect another huge drop in viewership. If I was running EIB radio I would be seriously considering Tucker as a replacement for Rush. He has most of the attributes needed to continue the fight. The most important one of those might be his national recognition.Delete
I disagree. Radio and TV presentation are completely different. You have to package information in tight time windows while radio allows more free form exploration. Rush had two attempts and TV and they bombed badly. He was out of his element. Tucker isn't made for radio. Best to keep him where he is.Delete
If he leaves (or is booted from Fox) then another network or documentary work would be a good alternative.
Mark Steyn would be a good fit for the Rush replacement.Delete
In the past milquetoast “Admiral” Kirby showed that he was dumb as a post. How he made officer in the Navy is a mystery, let alone Admiral. We suffered through his pathetic reports during Obama I and II and now he’s back for III.ReplyDelete
The Navy seems a mess these days.Delete
Oh yeah it is a mess. Remember the McCain destroyer incident? Two females officers got into a spat and were not on speaking terms. So the officer of the watch and control room didn't communicate.Delete
But as Kurt Schlichter said you bet that they were current on their sensitivity diversity training but not their seamanship skills.
We are witnessing a rewind of the Obama years. We need to recall and sack every general/admiral of the Obama era. Put a ban on any company that has any business ties with these losers.
And I believe there was another similar incident.Delete
The USS Fitzgerald in JapanDelete
Yep, that's the one I was thinking of. I remember reading somewhere a few years ago that reviews of preparedness or readiness for ships--I forget the proper term--have been pretty disastrous.Delete
There was that incident where a boat load of sailors were detained by Iran when they went into their territorial waters. With GPS they went in Iran territory?????Delete
I'll guess that "Judge launches coordinated on top DNC lawyer" meant something likeReplyDelete
"Judge launches coordinated *spanking* of top DNC lawyer".
Tucker is the one who puts asses in the seats, so to speak. Don't think he's going anywhere.ReplyDelete
My view, too. If he's goes anywhere, it'll be for more money.Delete
I commented above that EIB radio should be pursuing him as a replacement for Rush. He can make a lot more money doing radio and he would be in complete control of the content and direction without the Fox corporate overlords. Final plus - it is harder to boycott the advertising base in that medium.ReplyDelete
Speaking of Mr Elias and P&C or the lawfare clan in general...ReplyDelete
I had a working neuron moment last night when reading about some of these Jan 6th protestors and the charges they are being brought up on. What I found myself thinking about was the non existent of the rights support base.
Example... We all love to bash the ANTIFA situation. The left pet monkeys whom seem to be massively protected. (I say they are just better trained and smarter where tech comes into play on most days).
You have literal brigades of attorneys and non profits supporting those guys, or the left in general. Guilds, 503c, foundations, groups, etc, etc. They attend every protest with them in tow.
Where however is the rights army of lawfare groups and non profits at? Where are OUR Soros groups? The Mercers , The Burns, The Adelsons, The Meltons? Where's OUR lawyers guilds?
And why do we not see Trump screaming for support for these people who are getting very similar treatment as he received? They were after all patriots who supported him. (Naively, but still)
Where's Powell, Wood, where is their group of protégés at?
I'm guessing a good criminal defense attorney in DC is at least $10k an hour. (Maybe I'm giving too much credit there) But what set me off was a story about fund raising for a guy who wasn't even involved or at the capitol who had managed to raise $100k... I couldn't help but think that wasn't even a retainer where DC courts and federal charges are concerned.
I'm guessing that it's a matter of the GOPe vs the common conservative peasant but it's a pretty stark contrast between right and left's political machines.
And don't get me wrong, I'm not going to jump on the Trump bashing train like many have over his daughter and SIL. But like his cabinet picks and some of the more obvious bad ideas like this attempt to create a party within a party (again). Now the lacking of support for his supporters...
This is tugging at my core "Why?" button. Why are things like this for conservatives and patriots?
All very true. Currently writing a bit about some of that.Delete
The prosecutors have asked for another 6 month delay. They got nuttin.Delete
Carlson questioned their commitment to winning wars while focusing on diversity.ReplyDelete
The overwhelming response was to signal that they were committed to diversity, and NOT to signal that they're focused on winning wars.
We should take them at their word.
