Recently commenter Cassander bemoaned his inability to communicate in any meaningful sense with his sister when it comes to Donald John Trump.
Today, Don Surber, the indispensable blogger, has a fun blog in which he largely quotes others re Katy Tur's performance in New Hampshire. It's a remarkable snapshot of the Left's only fleeting contact with reality:
RedState reported, "MSNBC’s Katy Tur is perhaps most famous for proclaiming journalists are like firefighters, because after all, reading from a teleprompter and writing articles is totally like risking one’s life to go into a burning building. It was at that moment that the media’s inflated sense of self-importance became undeniably clear and it’s been a basis for parody ever sense.
"Tur also happens to be one one of the more biased journalists out there, using her platform to routinely spin Democratic talking points. Recently, she bemoaned gerrymandering in Senate races, which happens to not be a thing since state lines can not be gerrymandered."
But wait.
There's more.
Then in another segment, she said, "When I ask people if they’re voting for [POTUS], I hear about their 401(k)s a lot … but there are those out that who don't have a 401(k) and this economy is not really working for them. They can get a car, but it's a loan that will take 30 years."
Given my life expectancy and zero percent interest, I want one of those. Too bad they don't make them.
How do you get through to people like that? Reeducation camps? But that would be a Bernie-esque solution.
Poor Katy. She’s been through a lot. A few years ago her father, well-known longtime Los Angeles news helicopter pilot and reporter Bob Tur, decided that he was really a woman. Went the whole transition route and became Zoey Tur.
ReplyDeleteYou can't, they have to discover the truth themselves or make up their own truth which is more likely.

Those Lefties (incl. Cassander's sis) are hopeless.
DeleteAs I stressed to Cassander yesterday, I'd not waste my time/ effort on his sis, but instead aim to influence moderate liberals (e.g. like my daughter), who can be, at least sometimes, open to key facts, e.g. Horowitz/ Boasberg findings that the last two applications were "invalid".
I'm with Dersh, that getting moderate liberals to face key music, is doable, and crucial.
We won't change outright Lefties, until Dersh's hope, of getting moderate liberals to face music on Lefty derangement, leads these liberals to start fighting Lefty tyranny, to the point where "being Left" loses some of its social luster.
