Oh Say Kanye See?

If today's reports on Kanye West's views are any indication, West's election involvement--whatever form it takes--will hurt Dems. Here are two samples:

Kanye West: Planned Parenthood Was Founded By White Supremacists Doing ‘The Devil’s Work’
... “Planned Parenthoods have been placed inside cities by white supremacists to do the Devil’s work.”
...
West is pointing out the fact that Sanger’s original goals, to target the offspring of the poor, of minorities, and babies who are physically or mentally challenged, lives on today.
The vast majority of Planned Parenthood clinics remain in minority neighborhoods. According to the CDC’s Abortion Surveillance report, black women make up 34 percent of abortions in the United States, though they are only 13.4 percent of the U.S. population. According to the Charlotte Lozier Institute, more black babies are aborted than born alive in New York City each year.

And this:

Kanye West: It's 'Racism and White Supremacy to Say All Black People Need to Be Democrat'
Grammy-winning rapper and fashion mogul Kanye West ripped Joe Biden and declared that the Democratic Party has controlled black Americans to the point that “this white man can tell a black man if you don’t vote for me, you’re not Black.”
“That is a form of racism and white supremacy and white control to say that all Black people need to be Democrat and to assume that me running is me splitting the vote. All of that information is being charged up on social media platforms by Democrats,” Kanye West said in a lengthy interview with Forbes magazine. “And Democrats used to tell me, the same Democrats have threatened me…. The reason why this is the first day I registered to vote is because I was scared. I was told that if I voted on Trump my music career would be over.”

One more problem for Dems. But it's a very big problem. It may not lead to more Black votes for Trump, but it could lead to fewer for Biden and other Dems. Either way, not good for Dems.

  1. Kanye is moving the Overton Window!

Margaret Sanger’s Eugenist Views have been too explosive for anyone to touch.

Any bets this election will be crazier than 2016!

I thought nothing could top Trump bring to the debate 3 Women in 2016, the look on Bills face was unbelievable.

    1. Absolutely. This has been a NoGo area--the prevalence of Eugenist ideas in the entire Progressive movement and the targeting of Blacks. Ginsburg pretty much let the cat out of the bag in one of her interviews:

"Frankly I had thought that at the time Roe was decided, there was concern about population growth and particularly growth in populations that we don’t want to have too many of."

The cat was promptly stuffed back in the bag, but Kanye pulled it out once again and is likely to get more attention.

Imagine if, prompted by his remarks, a few clinics are attacked? Will the police be called in?
