Sage Advice From Senator Cruz--With A Warning

I'm glad Ted Cruz lost to Donald Trump. If Cruz had been the GOP nominee I think there's little doubt that we'd be ruled by a President Hillary and the country would be rapidly descending the tubes. However, Cruz seems to have found his spot in the Senate. Last night he offered this advice to Trump via the Sean Hannity show:

And I’ll tell you one reason in particular, Sean, why it is tremendously important that, not only does the nomination happen next week, but that the confirmation happen before election day. Because Democrats and Joe Biden have made clear they intend to challenge this election. They intend to fight the legitimacy of the election. As you know, Hillary Clinton has told Joe Biden, “under no circumstances should you concede, you should challenge this election.” and we cannot have election day come and go with a 4-4 court.

A 4-4 court that is equally divided cannot decide anything. And I think we risk a constitutional crisis if we do not have a nine-justice Supreme Court, particularly when there is such a risk of a contested litigation and a contested election.

We all knew that, but he said it well. It's the kind of voice we need in the Senate.

  1. Facts matter.

The Trump Administration continues to announce major foreign policy developments in regard to normalization of relations between Israel and various Arab nations. That is no trivial accomplishment, and the process in continuing, with more major announcements likely in the coming weeks.

Trump is back out on the campaign trail and drawing huge crowds in Swing states, while Hidin' Biden is still mostly in the basement.

Kamala Harris was supposed to fill the roll of getting out in public and making the speeches that Biden could not, but now she will likely be tied down in DC when the Judiciary Committee takes up the new Supreme Court nomination. And if history is any guide, her histrionics in another Kavannagh type inquisition is not likely to win over swing votes.

Last, the Antifa/BLM hooligans will likely now go berserk with renewed and intensified rioting in the last few weeks leading up to the election. That strategy is so unpopular that even Pelosi is now condemning the violence.

The Hail Mary pass of attempting to steal the election via voter fraud is also likely to run into a brick wall of federal investigation, oversight, and arrests because the Ds have been telegraphing their plan details for weeks now.

The "Crazy" is now off the charts and yet the MSM is once again hard selling the notion that Biden's victory is inevitable, and oh by the way, if by someone happenstance he loses then Russia, Russia, Russia, ad infinitum.

  2. "A 4-4 court that is equally divided cannot decide anything."

  3. The 4-4 argument is the best case to be made for getting a nominee confirmed without delay. This argument comes thanx to the Dem's strategy of challenging the legitimacy of any Trump victory for four years and announcing their plans to do it again in 2020.

  4. Any hearing will inevitably come with demands that the nominee recuse him/herself from any election-centric cases.

The nominee should be coached to unapologetically refuse to do so.

  5. Michael Anton has this to say, starting out with his coming down hard on those “principled Republicans” who choose to go their own rebellious way rather than following the conservative mandate they were given by the constituents who elected them:

  6. Having done some more reading, it’s pretty clear that the Dems and their lapdog media will be working hard to conflate The Handmaid’s Tale with the Handmaids of the People of Praise. Never mind that there is absolutely no possible connection. But they will try, for all its worth, and the Diane Feinsteins will bear down on that theme,,,

    1. In a head to head matchup on national TV between Feinstein and ACB, ACB wins hands down. Same with Harris--women will go for the mom over the one who slept her way to the top. If Dems wanna go there, that's playing straight into Trump's hands. Same probably goes for Lagoa.

  7. OT, but I thought this might fit here:

In depth article about the color revolution we are currently witnessing. Great deal of info on the people behind it, eg George Kent (State Department’s Belarus “Color Revolution” Expert And “Never Trump” Impeachment Witness) , Norm Eisen (former Obama Ethics Czar):

"As the man who implemented the David Brock blueprint for suing the President into paralysis and his allies into bankruptcy, who helped mainstream and amplify the Russia Hoax, who drafted 10 articles of impeachment for the Democrats a full month before President Trump ever called the Ukraine President in 2018, who personally served as special counsel litigating the Ukraine impeachment, who created a template for Internet censorship of world leaders and a handbook for mass mobilizing racial justice protesters to overturn democratic election results, there is perhaps no man alive with a more decorated resume for plots against President Trump.

Norm Eisen – a key architect of nearly every attempt to delegitimize, impeach, censor, sue and remove the democratically elected 45th President"
