Great Interview With AG Barr

This is a very wideranging interview with Bill Barr on Verdict with Ted Cruz. Among the topics covered: The Flynn Case, the Strzok notes, Antifa, Big Tech censorship, media bias and news suppression, the Berman firing--and why Barr agreed to return to DoJ when it was certain to be nothing but headaches. It's about 30 minutes long and well worth the time spent watching it.

  1. Thank you Mark for putting this interview on your website. I had not seen it anywhere else. It was wonderful.

  3. The Berman question is interesting. Barr stays well away from saying anything negative about Berman, and Cruz goes out of his way to allow Barr that space. It's as if Cruz knows something about Berman and an ongoing investigation, while Barr is being careful not to reveal anything odd about Berman's tenure.

In fact, both Liu and Berman had similar tenures in the DOJ. Both personally interviewed by Trump, which is a rare coincidence. Then both went on to make curious charging decisions, seemingly part of the ongoing coup. Is Trump this bad of an interviewer? Why did both leave in such similar but odd circumstances -- being offered a high level DOJ job, which would have the side effect of removing them from charging decisions.

    1. In both cases there's obviously more to the story than we know.

  4. Interesting to note that Barr calls the Stzrok notes as at Jan 5th. It's likely he knows, based on other corroborating evidence that only he and Durham are privy to, that they were definitively written then.

In that case, the words therein were probably dictated by Comey to Stzrok.

    1. Yeah. It's obvious that the notes are a summary of the 1/5/17 meeting, so they couldn't have been written until after that meeting.

    2. The notes are still weirdly written for all of that.
