Svetlana Speaks

Svetlana Lokhova runs a pretty lively twitter feed. I like this tweet, among many others:

What can you say? Lie after outrageously laughable lie, and the Horowitz dossier says: No evidence of "improper motivation."

Imagine how creeped out she must be at having been in the same room with Halper, much less having had to deal with him at Cambridge. Hey, maybe this is why the FBI "fired" Halper for cause, for bad behavior, back in 2011:

  1. It's interesting--or curious--that Halper and Prof Christopher Andrew "used" Lokhova in spite of the fact that she'd won some millions in a defamation lawsuit o=in 2015. I'd say that was evidence she wasn't to be trifled with...

    1. I didn't know that. I'd say she stands to win some more millions.

    2. Here's the DailyMail.co.uk coverage.

It's employment harassment case from Sberbank. Looks as if Halper/Andrew bought the alleged rumors proved false in her lawsuit. I erred in calling it a defamation case. Though 3.1 million pounds sterling is not chicken feed.

    3. Tx. No, not chicken feed. They're gonna regret this.

    1. Yeah, that came out a few days ago. Irregular as we all knew it was, the revelations are even worse now. For example, you can now tell that Baker's testimony wasn't entirely candid.

  3. Yes, I bookmarked her twitter feed a couple of weeks ago. Definitely not a lady you want to try to mess with.

  4. Ms Lokhova has surprisingly little biographical info on the internet. Everything, it seems, is contained, rather closely, on her personal website or in various accounts of her, supposed, relationship with Gen. Flynn. After more than two years in the public eye there isn't even a bio page on Wikipedia. What is certain is that she grew up during the chaos of the unwinding of the Soviet era, had a somewhat successful career with Sberbank, reported as a Russian state controlled bank. That, combined with her academic scholarship in Cold War intel subjects, would indicate that (what we already knew) Brennan, Clapper, Comey, Halper, et.al. are not the sharpest pencils in the box. They thought the were reeling in a guppy but discovered it to be a shark once in the boat. She understands all that she knows about "Follow the money" and appears to guard her reputation closely.
I find it interesting that I have not seen a single solitary article anywhere in the MSM about the women in this story. Nothing about Sidney Powell, or Svetlana Lokhova, of even the abuse burdened Melania. They are all standing against the wrath and hubris of the authoritarian Global left, not to mention corruption of the intel organizations of at least 3 major nation-states, and speaking truth to power that has proven itself more than willing to mercilessly crush the least opposition and yet, no recognition from their sisters in the MSM or Hollywood. "Is a puzzlement."

    1. I've seen at least one statement she's made that appeared to be a defense of the Soviet past, which left me ... uneasy.

    2. She is certainly something of a cypher. I haven't read any of her writings so far but I intend to. Her specialty seems to be Soviet Intel and its penetration of western gov'ts, which makes her about the worse choice imaginable for use as a pawn in the game Halper/Brennan were playing.
