Team Mueller Gear4Sale--Used Tinfoil Hats!

I've been busy so I just got around to transcribing this Fox interview with Nigel Farage, "Trump ally" and leader of the UK Brexit Party. It aired yesterday morning and it captures perfectly the extent to which Trump Derangement Syndrome leads to a total divorce from reality. As Mueller might say, the four corners of the transcript speak for itself. I've left out the portions re Boris Johnson:

FOX: The Special Counsel's nearly two year investigation into the Trump campaign took particular interest in one of the so-called Bad Boys of Brexit. [plays video clips]
"The British newspaper The Guardian reports that Nigel Farage is, quote, "a person of interest" in the inquiry into Russia and the Trump campaign."
"If you triangulate Russia, Wikileaks, Assange and Trump associates, the person who comes up with the most hits is Nigel Farage."
"The Special Counsel is interested in Trump ally Nigel Farage."
FOX: Well, Brexit Party leader Nigel Farage joins us right now. So, you're a person of interest?
FARAGE: Yes, I'm part of the grand conspiracy that took place in 2016.
FOX: Could you please explain what happened ...?
FARAGE: Obviously I raised a lot of Russian money ... I mean, the whole thing is just unbelievable. If you think about it, democracy only works if you have the principle of loser's consent. You lose an election, you don't like it, but you say: Next time around we're gonna win. What we had in '16, with Brexit and Trump, was the Establishment refusing to accept the results. That's why Mueller was there on Capitol Hill yesterday, that's why there's newspaper articles still being written about me. Hillary Clinton publicly said, Nigel Farage is funded by the Russians! I mean, the whole thing ...
FOX: Why was the Special Counsel interested in you? Is it because Wikileaks and that connection with the UK?
FARAGE: The story was that I'd run memory sticks from Donald Trump straight to Julian Assange. I mean, you just couldn't make this stuff up! There is no basis of evidence for it whatsoever. They just can't accept Brexit, they can't accept President Trump. They spent three years now trying to invalidate the result, but as you saw yesterday, they're losing.

  1. This story is the kind of thing Trump should speak (tweet?) about. The American people must be shown the conspiratorial lunacy that's consumed D.C. government offices and attacked their perceived enemies.
Then we're more likely to get confessions and convictions.

  2. Good on Fox for getting it out there. I'd never have believed it ...

  3. We're going to have to quit using the phrase, "You just couldn't make this stuff up!" because, obviously, they can.

  4. American consumers of mass market media have developed symptoms of delusion that arise (I surmise) out of its fascination with science fiction fantasy and superheroes--a world of unreality.

These symptoms are amplified by the DNC-MSM that uses no editorial filters--and now--chases after social media fads and fashions, e.g. beliefs that Apollo 11 moon landing was faked, the recruitment to swarm Area 51, etc.

  6. As I reflect on the extraordinary events on Wednesday I am amazed that the idea that the 'Russians' interfered meaningfully in the 2016 election and are still interfering and will interfere in 2020 is perhaps the most perplexing.

In 'his' investigation, Mueller was both unable to find evidence of a conspiracy between Trump and the Russian government and unable to find evidence sufficient to conclude that Trump obstructed justice in reacting negatively to Mueller's investigation into that which both he and Mueller knew didn't happen.

But, notwithstanding the demonstrably false and imaginary narrative of collusion and obstruction, the idea that the 'Russians' interfered in our election persists.

    https://www.cnn.com/2019/07/24/politics/russia-trump-election-interference/index.html

In fact Mueller testified that "They're doing it as we sit here..."

Yet with the debunking of the Mueller allegation that the Russian-based IRA was an arm of the government (or in any event meaningfully impacted the 2016 election) and with the total absence of forensic evidence that it was the GRU which hacked the DNC emails eventually released by Wikileaks, the only remaining allegation against 'Russia' is that Russian hackers compromised local election systems of two Florida counties, although there is no evidence that any votes were changed.

And yet Mueller testified that Russian efforts to interfere in the 2016 election were among the “most serious” challenges to American democracy. “Over the course of my career", he said, "I’ve seen a number of challenges to our democracy. The Russian government’s effort to interfere in our election is among the most serious.” And MSM reports after the hearings repeat the charge.

In fact it seems highly likely if not undoubted that the Russian interference allegations were entirely made up, in all likelihood by the Clinton Campaign when it began to worry that she would lose the election and then doubled down when in fact she did.

As your readers know, Mark, but large portions of the American public may not, there is no evidence of material Russian government interference, much less any consequence whatsoever, but plenty of evidence of Clinton interference with the cooperation of the British, Australian and Italian governments, and perhaps even some elements of the Russian government, NONE of which did Mueller even investigate.

    The preposterous Hoax continues!

    1. Very true. Your comment has inspired me to present a conspiracy theory that appears today on the Op-Ed page of the WSJ. Soon.

  7. I agree. I was mystified that not a single GOPer asked Mueller to explicate any evidence that Russia.gov had any impact on the 2016 election whatsoever.

    1. I'm almost ready to publish a long thing on what appears to be the go to theory.
