More On Russel Honore

Well, he's not very smart, he's uninformed about the basics of our constitutional order, and maybe a bit crazy--that seems clear enough. Check out this tweet and the Tucker Carlson Youtube:

Now here's the Tucker segment. Josh Hawley comes on in the second half--the first half is a bit of an expose regarding Honore, although it's not long enough to cover all his craziness. Example: The federal officers sent to Portland to protect the Federal Courthouse there were "a mob ... serving a dictator." Yes, he said that.

What really caught my attention, though, was when Tucker said he has seen an internal House GOP memo that says that the GOP won't question the continued presence of the New Army of the Potomac in the Imperial City. I'd sure like to know more about that! Tucker characterized that memo as "a betrayal of the nation," and he's right. I saw one report that suggested that the legislators are afraid of a Qanon assault on the Capitol. Wow! That's as crazily conspiratorial as anything Honore has said. Who are these GOPers? Presumably Kevin McCarthy signed off on that.

Anyway, the second half portion of Tucker with Josh Hawley--the "little sh*t with a Yale law degree"--is pretty good:

I got these links at The Federalist.

ADDENDUM: Here's an article about the New Army of the Potomac's continued presence in the Imperial City: Why Is The Guard Still in D.C.: Pentagon Finally Talks About the 'Threat,' That Only Raises More Questions. However, there is no mention of the internal GOP memo that Tucker mentioned. And regarding that "threat":

... when questioned by the Congress on Wednesday in response to a possible future threat such as on March 4, [Assistant Secretary of Defense for Homeland Defense & Global Security Robert] Salesses said that while the question of threats was an evolving one on which they worked with law enforcement, “At this time, I’m not aware of a threat that is out there.” Pentagon press secretary John Kirby told Fox’s Neil Cavuto earlier this week, “Things are safe and secure right now.

  2. Good grief. Wimpy Kirby is back. One of the worst press secretaries ever. No surprise that he was on Cavuto, a #NeverTrump Dem-hugger from way back. Kirby always looked as though he feared a bolt of lightning from the sky as he spouted Obamalies.

  3. What a jackass. He'd be a better in soviet Russia. "It's better to stay silent and have people think you an idiot, than to speak up and remove all doubt."

    1. Typo: "...better off in soviet Russia."

Probably should have taken my own advice. <|:^D

  4. I'll bet that "says the the GOP won't question...." aimed to be "says that the GOP won't question....".

  5. Honore = BLM in a uniform. With stars. A really, really ugly soulless guy. The perfect hired gun, by Mme Pelosi’s lights…

  6. Apparently one of Honore’s claims to fame is inventing the remark “stuck on stupid". Sorry, Russel. I was saying that long ago. When you were just a mongrel pup.

I was wondering if Russel may have tried to model himself after the outspoken Gen. Patton? If so, he has missed by a mile. Patton was far more than a bully. He actually lead his men into tough battles and won. Why are guys who spend most of their time in meetings and behind desks such bullies?

    1. The first thing I looked for in his Wiki page was whether he had any combat commands or, indeed, experience. Nope. IMO that's a tell that promotion probably had little to do with qualifications.

    2. What I mean is, that's usually necessary to rise that high. Maybe I'm wrong, but he sounds like an idiot.

  7. Very dangerous times we are.

You support Trump or his agenda, you are a traitor.

You are a conservative that does not cow to liberalism, you are a traitor.

You are a Republican that does not bend to Democrats, you are a traitor.

The biggest threat Obama himself declared as President was the Republican party.

This is his change he tried to do in office.

  8. I spent more than 4 decades working with our military and this guy typifies the worst sort of soldier: someone who thinks he is smart, but is not. Most military knew their limitations, as Harry Callahan would put it, but some were so full of themselves that they would make a hot air balloon blush. We technical types used to joke that if we go to war with this guy, hundreds of soldiers are gonna die...ON OUR SIDE! Geez, what a piece of work and I've seen my share...God help us all (IMHO, Rush got out avant le deluge, so to speak)

  9. It's just so difficult to believe that people believe this nonsense:

"Democrats Are Stuck With a Republican Party Rife With Conspiracy Theorists, Anarchists and Terrorist Sympathizers"
    ...
"During the impeachment trial last week, his defense lawyers reinforced those lies, and Republicans basically sat by and said nothing to counter them. They, in effect, are a party of turncoats. What makes their behavior so terrifying is that Democrats, who hold control of the Senate by only Vice President Kamala Harris’ tie-breaking vote, are left with no choice but to negotiate with the very people whose leading members encouraged the coup and instigated supporters to undermine American institutions."
    ...
"When asked about the violent insurrectionists, Bibby said, “If they were in Afghanistan, we would’ve hit them. Either a raid, drop a bomb on them, whatever it is.” He continued, “But the organizations that are funding this and who are backing this that are creating the political movement behind this are organizations like Fox News, Breitbart, One America News Network, and the Republican Party. If these organizations existed in another country, we would be sanctioning them. We would be seizing their assets for inciting terroristic threats against an American ally or against U.S. interests.”"
    ...
"Malcolm Nance, a national security expert and author of the upcoming book, They Want to Kill Americans: The Armed Militias, The Fanatical Terrorists, and The Deranged Ideology of the Coming Trump Insurgency, told The Root that not only is the Republican Party behaving like a terror group, he predicted soon after the Charlottesville, Va., attacks in 2017 that Trump’s use of insurrectionist language—“stand down and stand by”—essentially would become a white supremacist call to arms akin to kind of terrorist extremism he saw as a military intelligence officer."
    ...
"“We don’t want to be as gangsta as they are,” Keith said of Democrats in Congress. “We still have this delusion of bipartisanship. There’s no fucking bipartisanship. Get off that ship. It does not work. It’s sinking. It’s done. It’s at the bottom of the ocean. It’s the fucking Titanic. It’s down in the water. Let it go.”"

    And lots more...

  10. I am a conservative who did not vote for Trump in 2016 but did this year. And I became an independent on 1/7 after the two months of the spoiled baby being unable to accept defeat. Yet I would vote for him vs Biden who is a tool of the left. I hired a black legal assistant six years ago fully aware she would be harder to fire. She is the highest paid assistant and best in our firm. I would go up to Gen Honore, ask him if he got ahead based on his color, tell him what I just said and then get on my knees and look up to him saying I have no white privilege. His hate is so palpable which is why Pelosi advances him

    1. @Michael Taking you at your word that you are a real person, I wonder why you bothered to post this here. You say pres Zhou is "a tool of the left" yet evince no curiosity about the manner in which this tool was installed as POTUS or if you prefer "elected". In fact what you do evince is a complete credulity regarding the left's main lie regarding the election - that DJT was so PERSONALLY beyond the pale as POTUS that 80 million voters were moved to vote him out of office. According to you he is a "spoiled baby unable to accept defeat" But this is and has been the Left's principal rhetorical device, which they are now trying to turn on all citizens who support DJT, to cast them as PERSONALLY beyond the pale, they say nothing about policy differences ever, the just personally smear their opponents. I did not judge ANYTHING the President did as President after the election as to how they reflected on him personally, but how they impacted the office of President and the constitutional order. And I judge that he did very well under the circumstances. But then, I'm not a tool of the left.

    3. I'm not crazy about Mr. Harris'bit about spoiled baby, but anyone willing to say "Yet I would vote for him vs Biden who is a tool of the left", and rip Honore for "His hate is so palpable which is why Pelosi advances him", is at least somewhat worth my engaging.
So, unless Mark says otherwise, I look forward to hearing more from Mr. Harris.

  11. At 78, honoré seems as demented and out of touch as pelosi, which may explain her attraction for him, aside from his lack of objectivity. He's completely unfit to serve in any capacity, and should remain in the rest home until the end.
