Looks Like I Was Right About Barr And Oz

Just last Sunday I wrote, suggesting that cooperation between AG Barr's investigation and the Australian government may indicate much more than the Downer/Papadopoulos narrative that we're all familiar:

Barr has asked Trump to request various foreign governments--"allies"--to cooperate with his investigation into the Russia Hoax. The Brits, the Italians, and the Aussies. We've all heard about Alexander Downer and his London meets with George Papadopoulos, but could Oz's role in the Russia Hoax go a bit deeper that that? Is that why Trump had that chin wag a bit over a week ago with Aussie PM Scott Morrison? The NYT, with it's own unique spin, assures us that, yes, Trump did discuss the Russia Hoax with Morrison: Trump Pressed Australian Leader to Help Barr Investigate Mueller Inquiry’s Origins.
Aussie state visits to the US are very rare--as other news outlets noted. On the other hand, Barr is a busy man and couldn't be bothered going all that way to Oz. So when Trump told Morrison to get his ass to Washington ASAP, Morrison jumped! But, would Trump have really had Morrison come all this way if it was ONLY about Alexander Downer?

Now (h/t GP) we hear that there almost certainly is a lot more going on with Barr's investigation as regards Alexander Downer and the Aussies, so my guess seems to have come out right:

Lifezette reported on the information that Australian investigator Michael Smith gave to FBI investigators regarding Alexander Downer and the Clinton Foundation:
The materials Smith is giving the FBI focus on a 2006 memorandum of understanding between the Australian government and the Clinton Foundation’s Clinton HIV/AIDs Initiative (CHAI). Smith claims the foundation received a “$25M financial advantage dishonestly obtained by deception” as a result of actions by Bill Clinton and Downer, who was then Australia’s minister of foreign affairs.
Also included in the Smith materials are evidence he believes shows “corrupt October 2006 backdating of false tender advertisements purporting to advertise the availability of a $15 million contract to provide HIV/AIDS services in Papua New Guinea on behalf of the Australian government after an agreement was already in place to pay the Clinton Foundation and/or associates.”
A third complaint concerns what Smith describes as “the $10 million financial advantage dishonestly obtained by deception between April 1, 2008, and Sept. 25, 2008, at Washington, D.C., New York, New York, and Canberra Australia involving an MOU between the Australian government, the “Clinton Climate Initiative,” and the purported “Global Carbon Capture and Storage Institute Inc.”

Barr's willingness to go there comes as no surprise. In Will The Tables Turn? The Lindsey Graham Interview I quoted a NYT story re Barr (which is also relevant to the Ukraine Hoax):

“There is nothing inherently wrong about a president calling for an investigation,” said William P. Barr, who ran the Justice Department under President George Bush. “Although an investigation shouldn’t be launched just because a president wants it, the ultimate question is whether the matter warrants investigation.”
Mr. Barr said he sees more basis for investigating the uranium deal than any supposed collusion between Mr. Trump and Russia. “To the extent it is not pursuing these matters, the department is abdicating its responsibility,” he said.

All this appears to be a strong indication that the Barr/Durham is reaching deep into the innards of the Deep State. Which in turn explains the increasing hysteria in offical Washington and key sectors of "our institutions," such as the press.
