Important: Rep. Doug Collins Releases Full Bruce Ohr Transcript

Obviously important--the American people, WE the people, will no longer need to be satisfied with scraps of the testimony. And Collins (R - GA) says he'll be releasing more transcripts, as well. It's been apparent all along that there's a lot more to be learned than what we've seen thus far. The Ohr transcript is 268 pages in PDF format, so it'll take a while to digest. It's a start.

Here's a link for the full Bruce Ohr transcript.

Here's the accompanying "description":

Representative Doug Collins spoke on the floor of the House of Representatives and announced his frustration that DOJ officials were refusing to release transcripts from prior testimony before congressional committees. With that announcement, Representative Collins released the transcript of DOJ official Bruce Ohr - and followed by saying he intends to release additional transcripts if DOJ officials refuse to comply with release requests. Here is that transcript from Bruce Ohr.

It seems to me that this is in part a direct challenge to the new AG, Bill Barr--a warning that he needs to get a handle on this issue now rather than later if the goodwill of Congressional Republicans matters to him.

  1. "... goodwill of Congressional Republicans."
As Augustus McCray would say, "That's a mighty leaky vessel to place one's trust in." Pres. Trump can attest to that.

    1. No doubt, and yet I believe some of the more serious members do retain a sense of their duty to the country as well as to the Constitutional institutions of governance. I think, or perhaps I should say I hope, that in this case the concern is more than for partisan advantage alone but also for the degradation of our Constitutional order that the Russia Hoax has visited on the country.

  2. It is possible that Barr directly approved this behind the scenes. The question for me is what will the House Democrats do in response to Collins taking matters into his own hands.

    1. I agree and hope you're right. As for what the Dems will or an do,

      1. Pelosi definitely has her hands full right now, among radicals, moderates, etc.

      2. In light of Schiff's shenanigans--which you mention below--it's pretty hard to see them doing anything.

Further, while I'm not completely clear on this point, but it seems that the House, while still under GOP control, approved the release and were simply waiting on DoJ/FBI. So that probably would mean Collin's action would be out of Pelosi's hands.

  3. And I note the story today that Schiff and the Democrats worked with Cohen for 10 hours prior to his testimony. Methinks this is the origin of the Buzzfeed blowup in January. It isn't inconceivable that Cohen was pressured into testifying that Trump told him to lie, and that story was leaked out to Buzzfeed during the government shutdown theatrics by the Democrats- in particular, Schiff.

    1. No doubt about it--these revelations strengthen your theory. Some accounts pointed that out--that Cohen's renewed perjuries seemed to repeat the Buzzfeed narrative, so that definitely points to Cohen.
