Trump Back On Twitter!

Trump is back, and playing 4D Chess:

From the article:

Trump, always known as the smartest man in the room, has managed to get back on the social network by disguising himself as one Chongald Xrump, PR specialist for the Chinese Communist Party.

Trump is reportedly attempting to build a following by tweeting about how good Uighur concentration camps are and how nice the Chinese government is, since those things are not banned under Twitter's terms of service. ...

"Hello good sirs, I am here today to tell you how great our concentration camps are! Very clean and humane!" he wrote. The tweet was not flagged for inciting violence or being, you know, the tweet of a communist country that has killed tens of millions of its own citizens. In fact, people who replied and questioned the legitimacy of his tweet were suspended for hate speech.

Problems Viewing Embedded Tweets?

Commenter N. S. Palmer is experience problems viewing embedded tweets at this blog:

When you post tweets like that, they do not format correctly. The text doesn't wrap to the column, but goes all way off the right side of the page. I'm not sure of the cause. I've tried a couple different web browsers and it happened with both of them. It's happened a couple of times before when you posted tweets.

How many are having this same problem? I know this issue has come up before, but I forget whether anyone had a solution. I'm using the Twitter embed code.

Bill Barr, China, And ... Twitter

Today AG Barr gave a major speech on the threat that China poses to our constitutional order and way of life. The timing is obviously connected to President's foreign policy initiatives in the South China Sea. It may also presage a major campaign theme, given what we know of the Biden family's collusion with Red China over decades and involving vast sums of money.

You can read Barr's entire speech here. For my purposes, I'll quote a relatively short excerpt but one which emphasizes what can fairly be called the collusion of corporate America--particularly in the Tech/Media sector--with Red Chinese goals that are inimical to our constitutional order:

Twitter Is In Paul Singer's Sights

Monica Showalter has just posted a terrific article at AmThinker: A 'vulture' circles over Twitter. I won't give it all away, but I'll quote the portions that Showalter quotes from MSM sources:

Here's the Wall Street Journal take on what's happening now:
Elliott Management Corp. has nominated four directors to the board at Twitter Inc., according to a person familiar with the matter, setting the stage for a potential showdown between one of the most prolific and pugnacious activist hedge funds and the influential social-media company.
Elliott has taken a roughly $1 billion stake and been in talks with Twitter management about its desire for the company to find a full-time chief executive officer, the person said. That most likely would involve replacing co-founder Jack Dorsey, who began a second stint as the company’s CEO in 2015. In addition to his role at Twitter, Mr. Dorsey leads Square Inc., a financial-technology firm he also co-founded.
Here's the much more entertaining Daily Caller take:
A Republican donor reportedly purchased a major stake in Twitter with the intention of pushing out CEO Jack Dorsey, who the billionaire says is too distracted with other ventures.
Activist investor Elliott Management wants to make changes at the social media company, the Bloomberg News report noted Friday, citing sources familiar with the matter. Paul Singer, the billionaire behind Elliott, once opposed President Donald Trump’s campaign but has since grown more supportive.

But Showalter has lots more to tell you, so follow the link. As she says, this couldn't be happening to a nicer bunch of woke Leftists.

Nunes' Twitter Lawsuit Advances!

This is potentially very big news. Sean Davis has the full story at The Federalist:

Devin Nunes’ Lawsuit Against Twitter Could Turn Into The Company’s Worst Nightmare
A Virginia judge ruled last week that the Republican lawmaker's lawsuit against Twitter could proceed to trial in Virginia, meaning the company may finally be forced to disclose evidence of bias against conservative users.

Devin Nunes became a major target for left wing loonies as a result of his outstanding investigative work while heading the House Intel Committee, probing the Russia Hoax. Twitter claims to be neutral, but conservatives have long claimed that it allows unfair practices against conservatives. The big deal about this ruling is that Nunes can now get into discovery, and Twitter has next to no hope to appeal the ruling. I well remember how the Left mocked Nunes as a crybaby and claimed the lawsuit would go nowhere. Now Twitter will almost certainly face a jury if they fail to settle, and the facts are such that Nunes will be a very sympathetic plaintiff.

Here are some of the possible ramifications of today's ruling:
