Or should it be Sciencegate--since that's what Fauci claims it's really all about?

Fauci is flailing. He's attempting scare tactics, invoking the Dread Variants--which turn out to be most threatening to ... those who got vaxxed. Go figure, except that knowledgeable people in the field--immunologists and virologists, not amateurs like Fauci--actually DID figure that out. And tried to tell us about it.

His other tactic is to double down on wearing the mantle of science--woops, Science. With a capital "S", so it'll seem as big as Fauci's ego. Here's the money quote, but you can indulge yourselves with more at Red State (Fauci Loses It Big Time, Rants Attacking Him Is 'Attacking Science'). Here's Fauci whining to the utterly fatuous Chuck Todd:

“It’s very dangerous, Chuck, because a lot of what you’re seeing as attacks on me quite frankly are attacks on science because all of the things that I have spoken about consistently from the very beginning have been fundamentally based on science….If you are trying to get at me as a public health official and a scientist, you’re really attacking not only Dr. Anthony Fauci, you’re attacking science. And anybody that looks at what’s going on, clearly sees that. You have to be asleep not to see that. That is what’s going on. Science and the truth are being attacked.”

Yes, that's losing it big time, and it's an embarrassment to any real scientist who are left out there. If it's down to this, I have to suspect he may be a short timer now.

Beyond this silliness, however, there were two items at ZeroHedge that are worth considering. Someone dug up a video of Peter Daszak from 2016 explaining how gain of function research works--and he's explicitly talking about how his "Chinese colleagues" do it. Here's the transcript--I've added the beginning and ending sentences to what appears at the link: Fauci Pal Daszak Admits "Chinese Colleagues" Developing "Killer" Coronaviruses. Note that what Daszak is describing is supposedly how GOF research is used to develop vaccines:

Miranda Devine On The Real Covid Conspiracy

Let me just say up front that my working assumption--until disproven--is that Tony Fauci was acting at the direction of powerful influencers. To me, that means that those directing Fauci's policies were in or had pretty direct connections to the political realm.

With that proviso, Miranda Devine presents some succinct facts about the real Covid conspiracy in Scientists were pushing real COVID-19 conspiracy. I realize that for many the idea that scientists engaged in deliberate, um, deception will not come as a total surprise. Nevertheless, it's important to understand and internalize this fact, because in our world science has a privileged position. That cannot be allowed to continue--not without the possibility of serious oversight and pointed challenges to supposed orthodoxies. 

Simply put, scientists can be bought off, just like other "experts." Experts they may be, but all experts must be presumed to also have interests of their own and should be challenged on that understanding. If they pass the test, well and good. But passing that test requires transparency to the public, which has been systematically suppressed under the sorry Covid regime. This approach works under our accepted and time tested legal principles and, significantly, it also is the basis for sound scientific research. Duh! Which means that some--possibly many--"scientists" are in fact engaged in something somewhat other than actual science. Just as some prosecutors, investigators, judges, and defense attorneys engage in something other than the disinterested pursuit of justice. We need to understand this.

Here is what to me is the core of Devine's article, Devine comes to this after leading us through Peter Daszak's money driven manipulation of other "scientists" to publicly denounce "conspiracy theories", i.e., the public presentation of inconvenient facts. In this excerpt I've inserted words in brackets in a few spots to make what Devine is saying absolutely clear:

But it's worse than that, as the article goes on to detail Manchin's plans to block repeal of the filibuster and to block a pure-Dem "infrastructure" bill.

Meanwhile the audits continue--and look to spread. And the bad Fauci/Covid hoaxes continue to metastasize while Election 2022 draws nearer. Leftist craziness grows unabated, the murder pandemic in Blue cities shows no signs of going away, and inflation burgeons.

As we find out so often with liberal non-profit outfits, the organizations may be non-profit but the people running them are very much in it for the money.

It's one of those weird things about life in the American Empire that we often need to look for relevant information in out of way places--places other than the MSM--or even overseas. For example, you probably haven't read about Peter Daszak's lifestyle much in the US media, but the Daily Mail (UK) had a nice piece just the other day:

• The House Energy and Commerce Committee sent Daszak 34 questions  about his charity's involvement with the Wuhan lab in April with a May 17 deadline
• Daszak has failed to respond to any of its questions about his charity, EcoHealth Alliance, and its federal funding, according to a well-placed source
• That funding went to the Wuhan Institute of Virology in China, which is accused of being the source of Covid-19
• Rather than answer DailyMail.com's questions about his involvement in Wuhan, he said, 'Goodbye, I have no comment' and called the police
• Federal data seen reveals the Pentagon gave $39 million to EcoHealth Alliance between 2013 and 2020
