The California Republican said, “If [Mueller] does put out a report, you're gonna see people claiming, 'Oh we have to have this public, it's got to be made public.' That's fine. But I want everything that Mueller did made public. I want email, I want everybody that they wiretapped, every warrant that they got, every single thing that Mueller used needs to be made public for all of America to see."
Sounds good to me! Transparency that's good for the goose should also be good for the gander.
Btw, pet peeve. I'm tired of nitwits on news shows calling Nunes "Noonyez," as if he were Mexican and his name were spelled Nuñez.¨ It's "NOOness" = "newness". The guy is Portuguese, not Hispanic.
Agree, and even though Numes' hands were tied by Ryan (who supported the coup from the shadows), he could have blown the whole thing wide open last year when he still had control of HPSCI. There are numerous low level federal employees in FBI/CIA/NSA who were first person witnesses to criminal conduct in furtherance of the coup. Yes, their testimony would have been repeatedly blocked by Rosenstein, but that alone would have tied up DOJ for months. The witnesses number in the dozens, if not hundreds. Damn near impossible to prevent leaks; fighting fire with fire.
ReplyDeleteI have to agree, Unknown. Nunes is a hero, of sorts, but listening to him and Gowdy now and comparing their frankness to "measured" previous statements ...
DeleteWhen you see what their up against, the Schiffs and Schumers, etc., who don't hesitate to lie.
