From a recent statement by the Archbishop--thought provoking:
Archbishop Viganò in a recent interview: "The Great Reset is not only the last stage prior to the establishment of the reign of the Antichrist but it has acquired all of the connotations of a true religion, borrowing its language, creating ceremonies, appointing its own priests."
"The rituality of the present pandemic is quite obvious, especially in the way they have wanted to give the vaccine a sacramental value, to the point of resorting to priests to promote it, even preaching that it is indispensable for salvation, identifying it as a moral duty...
"Thus, in prohibiting the Holy Sacrifice to the true God & banning the administration of the true Sacraments, the new COVID religion has imposed itself with new hygienic rituals & new sacraments of health."
Kudos to Emerald Robinson for putting this together. Could it be that the Archbishop and Ivor Cummins are basically talking about the same thing? I think it is. One approaches it from a religious standpoint, the other as an engineer.
I agree 100% with Vigano about the nature of the ritualized responses to COVID (and potentially to its successor threats). Those with power hope such rituals (only as authorized and required by the state) will replace traditional religions. The degree of power they want cannot be contingent on or challenged by anything beyond their control, including and especially the notion of a God and/or a transcendent morality.
ReplyDeleteIn this go around, we are to be the obedient serfs whose hopes are not placed in a religion that promises a second, better life; rather the promises will simply be state favors to us resembling the old freedoms, along with the satisfaction of selflessly performing our social duties during our nasty, brutish, and short lives.
Also from Vigano via Emerald: "In conclusion, COVID is a pretext with which to give the semblance of legitimacy to restrictions on natural freedoms & fundamental individual rights, in such a way as to create an economic & social crisis with which to make the Great Reset irreversible."
Concur with the Archbishop. That said, the Vatican plays a role in The End Times & it’s not a good one. The Roman Catholic Church becomes part of “The Beast” as revealed in Revelation (see here: https://youtu.be/lvTL_lnN5-Q ) . As far as The End Times, when you see this stuff happening: https://citizenfreepress.com/breaking/pbs-childrens-show-drag-queens-in-training/ think it fairly safe to assume we’re already deep into The Third Act.
ReplyDeleteBoarwild
Boarwild, many thanks for the Revelation video. For over two thousand years the Catholic Church has shaped western civilization. It is difficult to reconcile the pitiful schism between the Catholic religion and its institution yet Cardinal Robert Sarah best puts his finger on that pulse when he said upon suiting his resignation to the pope in February, "I remain in the hands of God. The only rock is Christ." Much more than a tacit remark.
DeleteI have long thought that the lightning fast acceptance of trans nonsense and resulting gender confusion represented more-than-normal demonic activity.
ReplyDeleteRevelation makes repeated references to unlocking an abyss where the devil had been bound, and the underlying characteristic of his release is a mass deception leading directly to the final confrontation. While I'm uncomfortable reading my country's political shenanigans into biblical eschatology, nevertheless there is reference to a symbolic Babylon-prostitute that has a special role to play both enriching the nations and leading them into great debauchery. For all its power, Babylon is simply shrugged aside before the last battle even begins.
Whereas most of Revelation is layered symbolism filtered through the imagery of old testament prophecies, this bit about Babylon and the unlocking of the abyss seems rather specific.
All this to say I'm inclined to agree with the bishop.
oh, and an interesting side note:
DeleteWhere I say Babylon will be shrugged aside, the text says it several different ways (11:13, 16:19, 17:16).
These are different symbolic ways of expressing the same thing, but v16:19 is striking: there's an earthquake and the great city is split into three parts. Symbolic, right? And yet, every discussion about an American civil war/divorce identifies three distinct territories in the struggle.
