On Tuesday Newsmax's Emerald Robinson stepped up and won the Stump The Chump Home Run Derby:
Wow... stump the chump!@EmeraldRobinson asks a completely cogent, pertinent question regarding @JoeBiden's actions regarding China and @presssec is completely unable to answer...why?
— Tony Shaffer (@T_S_P_O_O_K_Y) January 26, 2021
Should we call for a special counsel regarding the Biden's relationship with China? https://t.co/QSoFcGsY2w
So here we are--it's Friday and nobody associated with the Zhou regime has "circled back" to Emerald with an answer. Or ... anything:
It's Thursday and nobody from the Biden Administration has "circled back" to me about China & our national power grid.

I'm willing to go way, way out on a limb and posit a developing pattern.
Xi has been too busy finalizing instructions to all the Davos lickspittles to get back to Jen with U.S. policy, who then has to get back to Emerald (no need to bother Zhou during nap time). So many toadies, so little time.
ReplyDeleteMicromanaging a world wide Reset is a full time job, especially when dealing with these billionaires who are not the sharpest tools in the shed. He's only one cadre, after all.

Emerald will have to do the circling back.
ReplyDelete@Bebe; let me circle back to you on that comment.
DeleteIt will be interesting to see how long "reporters" will be content to jump around with their pom poms in their cheerleading outfits, instead of demanding, hey, just a FEW answers.
Delete@Mark; I'm not going to lose any sleep over it but let me circle back to you on that later.
DeleteSilverback, circleback...related?

Apologies, meant circle back = circle jerk.

If any of the press circle back their editors will hold them accountable or they will loose access in the snap of a finger.
ReplyDeleteToo much riding on this pony show to start being honest now.
The real pattern is Biden being wheeled out day after day to sign EOs then quickly being hurried away from 'reporters' so he does not have to respond to any questions, regardless how infantile they might be.
ReplyDeleteAfter winning an election, don't most presidents welcome foreign heads of state or depart the country to visit other heads of state? Now that old Plugs has had the China virus vaccine administered, he should be ready to do the grip-and-grin with other heads of state. Right? Don't look for this pretender to do anything of the sort. His handlers will shelter him to keep the obvious fact of his mental decline hidden. The biggest known 'secret' that the media is unwilling to report on, much less investigate.

Right. It's shocking what's going on. However, I did see the WaPo had a story about the "9 to 5 president." I didn't bother reading, but that sounded to me like criticism. The author apparently stressed how choreographed everything he does is--and yet he still has to be cued or read off note cards.
DeleteMark, I think I just skimmed that 9-5 WaPo article. It made it sound like Biden was following an orderly, much more sane path, not working 24/7 or expecting others to do so, leaving Congress pretty much alone (a Clyburn quote lauded this), and so forth. It was essentially a comparison with President Trump.
DeleteUnimpressive.
I suspected as much, which is why I skipped it. But the very fact of referring to a POTUS as a 9-5 guy would have been a severe condemnation not too long ago--remember the 3AM phone call thing? I think most people seeing that 9-5 ref would draw a very different conclusion than the article seeks to propagate. Just as even the NYT yesterday expressed a fairly high degree of concern about governing by EO and "leaving Congress pretty much alone." Bottom line, I doubt anyone but the terminally low info types--and yes, there are way too many of those--are fooled.
DeleteEmerald, when they say they are going to circle back to you, watch your six.
