The Deep State Strikes Back

Last night I read at Hans Mahncke's twitter feed about a WaPo article about Kash Patel, Devin Nunes' lead investigator who rose to become a key figure in the intelligence structure during the last months of President Trump's administration--at the NSC, ODNI, and DoD. Patel is being targeted by the Deep State for supposed leaks in an article by Aaron Maté at RealClear Investigations (February 25, 2021): In Final Days, Trump Gave Up on Forcing Release of Russiagate Files, Nunes Prober Says

For whatever reason I'm unable to access Twitter this morning (but see below). As I recall, Mahncke focused on the key role that Bluto Barr played in pressuring Trump not to declassify and release the most damaging documents that would disclose the full extent of Deep State criminality--both against Trump but more generally with regard to domestic spying.

Sundance has a fairly comprehensive account of this story--the targeting of Patel and the significance of it--this morning. Like Mahncke, sundance highlights the key role of Barr in this disgraceful episode, which is still playing out. Barr, of course, is one of the ultimate insiders and knew full well that the Deep State would seek revenge against patriots like Patel--as an object lesson to others to back off from any attempts to expose Deep State criminality. This makes his own role all the more reprehensible.

Buried Lead – Washington Post Outlines AG Barr As Key Figure Who Blocked Declassification of Spygate Documents

We all know the Deep State national security state--the Intelligence Community (especially CIA, FBI, and NSA) in cooperation with DoJ, DoS, DoD,and other agencies--has been growing in power and influence since World War Two. However, this growth has metastasized in the wake of 9/11 to the point that we see today, defying the authority of the elected president of the United States and cowing the Congress and SCOTUS into submission.

No doubt men like Barr have persuaded themselves of the righteousness of the Deep State enterprise and its necessity in maintaining the American Empire's global dominance. They refuse to recognize that its lawlessness and corruption have undermined that justification and turned the national security state into a force for global lawlessness and corruption--it's a self sustaining process, incapable of reform from within.

This is the reality that we live in today in the United States. There's no point in wringing our hands over this at this blog. Reform can only come from the electoral process--through a truly awakened electorate--and the replacement of those elected representatives who are complicit with men willing to take this bull by the horns. The merit of sundance's summary is simply to show just how stacked the cards were against Trump--virtually everywhere he turned he was faced with a Deep State stone wall, often cleverly disguised as persons willing to help and support Trump's MAGA project. True patriots were carefully marginalized.

For now, the Deep State and key senators and representatives continue to support the national security state in whose service they have labored for decades, under a Uniparty system of governance. This is the meaning of the focus on domestic politics by the Deep State's IC. Julie Kelly covered this aspect yesterday:

Baiden Intelligence Community Breaches Authority to Target the Right

Instead of prioritizing resources to confront the menace posed by America’s foreign adversaries the IC is devoting most of its time to pursuing Americans on the political Right.

While Kelly focuses on the Zhou Baiden regime, we all know this is the culmination of a process that has been metastasizing in the post 9/11 Bush and Obama regimes--Zhou is along for the ride, not in charge. The agency heads who testified before a largely fawning Senate--FBI Director Christopher Wray, CIA Director William Burns, DNI Avril Haines (a John Brennan acolyte)--made no bones about their agenda. The transparent dishonesty and nonsense of their position:

“Domestically, lone actors and small cells with a broad range of ideological motivations pose a greater immediate threat” than ISIS and al-Qaeda, Haines said in her opening statement to the committee. “We see this threat manifest itself in individuals who…commit terrorist acts for ideological goals stemming from other influences, such as racial bias and antigovernment sentiment, which we refer to as Domestic Violent Extremism or DVE. DVE is an increasingly complex threat that is growing in the United States.”

was apparent to all, but only one senator exposed it. Everyone knew that Haines was talking about Trump supporters--Americans who wish to restore our political order to some semblance of adherence to the rule of law and constitutional norms. The threat of violence comes from the Left. But Haines is correct that citizen dissatisfaction with the ruling class stems largely from conservative sector. She's right that the threat presented by conservatives is "an increasingly complex threat that is growing in the United States.” Ignore the code words--peaceful protests morph into "terrorist acts" in her lingo, as all present at the hearing understood; "racial bias" is manifested not on the conservative side but comes virtually exclusively from the Left. But the Left is no more than a tool in the hands of the Deep State.

Who doubts what I've just written? Haines went beyond the code words to spell it out:

“Newer sociopolitical developments—such as narratives of fraud in the recent general election, the emboldening impact of the violent breach of the U.S. Capitol, conditions related to the COVID-19 pandemic, and conspiracy theories promoting violence—will almost certainly spur some DVEs to try to engage in violence this year,” Haines claimed in her March report.

Dissent is what is being targeted--dissent from Deep State control of the levers of power, behind the facade of constitutional government. To his everlasting credit, Representative Chris Stewart called these Deep State operatives out:

Fortunately, Biden’s intel chiefs did not find the same fawning audience in House Republicans that they found in their Senate Republican counterparts. Note that, while the Deep State is presented as "advancing the Democrats' political agenda," the reality is that this is a Uniparty agenda when it comes to the national security state:

During a separate hearing Thursday morning, Haines, Wray, and NSA Director Paul Nakasone were blasted by GOP members of the House Intelligence Committee for abusing their authority to advance the Democrats’ political agenda. Representative Chris Stewart (R-Utah) asked each official whether he or she was statutorily empowered to spy on Americans with “no foreign nexus”; each answered no.

“It’s very clear the IC has no authority to turn your tools or your resources on American citizens,” Stewart scolded. Holding up a copy of Haines’ report, Stewart asked her if she used intelligence community resources to draft the document in violation of an executive order clearly limiting the IC’s reach to “foreign security threats.”

Haines tap-danced around the question, insisting her office merely received, and did not collect, the domestic-based intelligence. But Stewart was having none of it. “Your analysts helped prepare, you did an analysis on this.” The American people, Stewart warned, “should be deeply troubled” by intelligence agencies turning their sights on Americans.

Representative Devin Nunes (R-Calif.), the committee’s ranking member, denounced the group for “characterizing wide swaths of American citizens, particularly Republicans and conservatives, as politically suspect, politically violent, and deserving of government surveillance.” He warned any attempt to abuse their authority will be met with “severe repercussions” by Republican lawmakers and the American people.

But Nunes, once again, will be fighting not just the Democrats, the news media, and the administrative state but members of his own party. As they made clear in their shameful performance this week, Senate Republicans have no plan to protect Americans—many of whom support the GOP—from an unbridled intelligence community hell-bent on exacting revenge for the election of Donald Trump nearly five years ago.

Well, yes--we're all "deeply troubled" and hope that there will be "severe repercussions." Will Election 2020 make a difference? I have no alternative to offer.

In the meantime, returning to sundance, here are some key excerpts that help sketch out the shape of what's going on. First he quotes from the WaPo:

(WaPo) […] The battle against the deep state continued, meanwhile. Patel kept pushing, along with DNI Ratcliffe, for declassification of memos challenging the origins of the Russia investigation. Nakasone [NSA Director] strongly dissented, and Esper [Sec of Defense] backed him up in an October letter to Ratcliffe “urging that the information not be released due to the harm it would do to national security, including specific harm to the military,” a senior defense official said. Haspel [CIA Director], too, strongly opposed release of the information. Their argument for protecting sensitive information was finally supported by Attorney General William P. Barr, and Trump backed away, a source close to the events said.

“I think there were people within the IC [Intelligence Community], at the heads of certain intelligence agencies, who did not want their tradecraft called out, even though it was during a former administration, because it doesn’t look good on the agency itself,” Patel said in the RealClearInvestigations interview. (read more)

Specific harm to the military? That's interesting. But ... let's be clear. Ultimately the buck has to stop somewhere. Trump wasn't perfect. Anyway, sundance then comments on a variety of related subjects. For my purposes the most pointed comments have to do with what I mentioned above--the coordinated defense of the national security state that has arisen--especially--since 9/11. That's the bottom line:

Robert Mueller had two goals as special counsel.  Goal #1 was to continue the fraudulent DOJ/FBI “Stop Trump” operation initiated by James Comey, Andrew McCabe and their crew technically named Crossfire Hurricane.  Goal #2 was to bury the illegal action; to create the cover-up needed for everything that took place in the “Stop Trump” operation.

I would maintain that the "stop Trump" operation was not specific to the DoJ/FBI--there must have been a wink and a nod from the Senate and other key DC insiders letting Comey know what was expected of him. The sh*t really hit the fan when Trump--against all odds--won. That's when the cover up kicked into high gear. But that cover-up was not just for the FBI's benefit but for the entire Deep State. However, I do want to point out that, while sundance includes Horowitz in his list, I'm not aware that Horowitz hid anything of substance. And Horowitz wasn't involved with Mueller.

... Everyone in DC knew Mueller’s objective.  Every person in every branch of government and every federal agency knew Mueller’s real purpose.

...

The entire system was united against the ‘outsider’ that Trump represented.  Every action taken by Rosenstein, Barr, Wray, Bowditch, Boente, Horowitz and the special counsel team itself was done purposefully, because they knew the Mueller/Weissmann objective was to cover-up all of the unlawful schemes previously used against Trump.

Generally people accept that Mueller Inc was in place to target Trump.  However, the lesser admitted reality is that Mueller was in place to cover for the branches, agencies and institutions that were part of the originating targeting.

...

Everyone knew.

That list of everyone includes: Bill Barr, Rod Rosenstein, James Comey, Andrew McCabe, Lindsey Graham, Ron Johnson, Chuck Grassley, Peter Strzok, Lisa Page, Susan Rice, Sally Yates, Loretta Lynch, Mitch McConnell, every member of the Senate intel committee; every member of the House intel committee… and yes, including John Durham and every member of every DOJ office everywhere.

The legislative branch knew. The judicial branch knew.  The executive branch knew. The FISA court knew… All of the insiders knew the Mueller probe was one big vacuum to suck up all of the evidence that would have exposed a corrupt system to We The People.

They did all of this because the scale of the originating scandal was so severe it would be almost impossible for our nation to cope with the consequences.  That fearful knowledge is also what’s behind the reality we are currently seeing with thousands of National Guard troops guarding Washington DC…. just in case.  Another systemic contingency.

FWIW, my guess is that Barr took on the AG job as a way for the establishment to offer Trump some needed expertise--if he would play ball. Trump didn't play ball and Barr undermined him, slow walking the investigations. Reread the above and ask yourself what you really expect from Durham.

Meanwhile, Twitter seems to be working again:

And life goes on in the Imperial City on the Potomac:

And Barr is left to face his own disgrace--if he has a conscience. He was in a position to make a difference. He chose not to.

  1. Lord Acton’s thesis in action. The greatest threat to this nation is internal, not external. The rot has been allowed to fester & grow with the fallout reaching far & wide; the system of “justice” in this country has been utterly destroyed. Attendees to the Jan 6 demonstration continue to be locked up on trumped-up charges with prosecutors invoking procedural delays to keep them locked up. If you don’t have the “approved” set of societal mores you can expect to be - @ the very least - ostracized from society, fired from your job, etc.

Meanwhile the political class continues to foment bogus charges of “aggression” & “election tampering” against Russia, with Joe BiteMe even going so far to call Putin a “killer”? This is reckless, dangerous, & a totally irresponsible act. Talk about poisoning the well for any future discourse.

I could go on but what’s the point? We inhabit a kakistocracy. We’re in rebellion against God. What would it take for the “whole rotten structure to come crashing down”?

  3. Great article Mark, we were reading the same things independently!

I offer two thoughts... (Sorry for the length, complex subject)

"They refuse to recognize that it's lawlessness and corruption have undermined that justification and turned the national security state into a force for global lawlessness and corruption"

I contend they very much understand this and not only embrace the power and control it brings but also simply don't care in the least. The IC is both unstoppable and all powerful. They may "justify" it via national security mantra, but are very aware of what they've become. This is the unstoppable zombie effect I frequently, but sloppily rant about.

"Reform can only come from the electoral process--through a truly awakened electorate--and the replacement of those elected representatives who are complicit with men willing to take this bull by the horns."

I believe this is physically impossible to achieve. One of the biggest reasons for domestic spying on incoming Pols is not *the right left factor, Obama, etc* but the IC dirt factor. It is not / was not just Trump, it's EVERY incoming Pol that has a "dossier" of sorts built against them. In Trump's case they just needed to make it public so they used complete garbage.

The garbage wasn't the best they had, it's was by design.

I believe we will one day find further proof of the the IC being involved in every single campaign all of the way into state houses and governor levels.

There is simply too much complicity between states and the fed. It's just too convenient to be explained otherwise.

If they can't find the dirt, they create the dirt or lead the individuals to the dirt. Or allow foreign intelligence ops to do it for them. Money, drugs, sex, spouses, children.

My mind goes to Sibel Edmonds and the FBI collecting dirt via Turkish intel ops against US congressional reps. There were two dozen plus she witnessed first hand involving just Turkey and the FBI was not intervening, they were collecting intel. Aka dirt / graymail.

She also hit on another point most missed or didn't understand. It's not just the IC in unison vs All. But it's also agency vs agency in collecting dirt on each other's mistakes.

Example (I loathe this subject but), 9/11 hijackers mysterious US visas, entry into the US, pre 9/11 activities, post 9/11 exits of family and friends. I'm not going to wade into the "conspiracy" of the US government causing / planning / allowing 9/11 but certain agencies were assisting these guys and post 9/ll that assistance became serious graymail. (For the record, I think the 9/11 "the gov did it" conspiracy is driven by the misunderstandings of the IC activities that were in play, not vice versa)

Natalia Veselnitskaya, no one has explained how she got into the US. Who bypassed her entry ban and signed the visa? Why? I bet the agency who did it didn't even know the "why". Nor did the agency who asked the agency.

Eric Swalwell is a great recent day example. Caught in a Chinese honey pot and ushered both into congress and directly into the Intelligence Oversight Committee.

What better to have as your oversight than a person you know is compromised and hold all the cards on their career?

Where Hunter Biden probably seems like a IC risk to most, I'm betting the IC sees him as one of their greatest assets at the moment. That bumbling moron is CI gold!!!

If you dig, you will find not 10-20 examples of this, but hundreds. Too many to be pure happenstance.

It was always my belief that Barr came into this to protect those processes but more specifically the umbrella of insututions and their use of these processes. There is no mastermind of these things, no Dr Evil, just a splintering of contractors and agencies run amuck.

Things like this are never confronted and removed, they only implode as a consequence of something much bigger.

  4. This is amazing. I think we are actually reaching a unified theory of our national reality that adequately explains everything we're seeing and past events back to at least 9-11. The Crime Syndicate Unified Theory.

As developed in prior posts and comments by Cassander, MW, Cardigan, Mark A, and others, it runs something like this, since at least 9-11:

    1. The US has developed into a web of crime syndicates (or families if you want to picture this more easily in Godfather terms). That these people are criminals is beyond dispute.
    2. The 'families' break down roughly as the Deep State, the Uniparty Establishment, the Military Industrial Complex, Big Tech, Big Media, and Wall Street/Global Corporations. (There may be someone I missed...not sure how BLMTIFA fits in..i suspect they are a gang created and maintained by the Uniparty family but may have pretensions of being their own family too).
3.Each family has its sphere of interest and profit centers and levers of power. Like a criminal syndicate they generally cooperate insofar as it benefits their own interests and so long as another family doesn't threaten them directly or indirectly.
    4. The power of the Syndicate is enormous, far beyond any Ian Fleming concoction. Although not absolute, when in concert, their power is terrifying and almost unstoppable. Witness Trump 2016 (when the Syndicate was divided and or lazy) vs Trump 2020 (when they were a nightmare of unity that pulled off the biggest election heist in human history).
    5. By some sort of loose agreements the families communicate the limits and parameters of their respective powers and predations. The Uniparty, for example, decides who will be the next candidate served up for President and get approval from the other families. The DS and other families mobilize to ensure that the approved candidate gets elected. In some elections, the DS doesn't much care and they do little to game things. Bush v Gore 2000 comes to mind. Either guy was acceptable to the DS and Military as they were bith Uniparty so things were left to be sorted out electorally and ultimately by SCOTUS (which may be part of the DS or Uniparty, hard to tell).

    Part 1

  5. 6. Trump and his populist appeal presented the single greatest challenge to the Syndicate ever. They failed to take him seriously in 2016 and learned a bitter lesson. From then on the Syndicate was out to eliminate him by any means. Rumors of assassination attempts against Trump are manifold.
    7. 2020 was a demonstration of the Syndicate in total concert. Biden, the most ridiculous candidate in living memory, was picked bc the DS insisted on someone they could control, who would go along w their prescription of domestic policies to the letter. The Uniparty had no choice. Without DS influence, Trump would win in a landslide. The other families all did their part.
    8. What we see now is just the playing out of the Syndicate agreement with Biden signing whatever he's given, saying whatever he's told, and otherwise keeping quiet and hidden. The Syndicate had a near death scare from Trump and they are doing everything possible to make sure another unapproved candidate never gets near office again.
    9. Meanwhile the Uniparty is hashing out who will "control" the House and Senate in 2022. The DS and MIC will have final approval on candidates and the jockeying for their approval is no doubt intense. Make no mistake, while there may well be a few surprise candidates like Taylor-Greene who get elected, there is zero chance that any change in Congress will make any real difference in Syndicate business. The only argument is whether policies favored by certain clans will be dubbed too extreme or adopted as a bold and necessary measure (think HB 1, SCT packing, Green New Deal etc...). Each family is eternally jealous of their prerogatives and profit centers. They all constantly weave between fear of killing the golden goose and fear of losing power.
    10. The solution to this kleptocracy as it's been called is sadly not electoral. We're too far gone. We will never elect enough honest people who can't be corrupted or intimidated by the Syndicate into acquiescence. We've seen it countless times, we even call it the DC Disease when a great rep is suddenly transformed into yet another Uniparty cog.
    11. The only solutions I see are either: a) the Syndicate overreaches, gets too greedy and they crash our economy (something that many in the families might use to their advantage), or b) the MIC or some good guys therein decide that one or more other families are going too far and the military must seize power-- basically a Michael Corleone move against the other families. Maybe, if there are enough good guys in the MIC, they can pull off a coup and restore the republic. History has no precedent for that afaik but...maybe.

Anyway. This is the threads of the Unified Theory. Feel free to refine. It seems to explain all the strange happenings since 9-11 or more and the otherwise inexplicable events of 2020 to present.

You have given the many students of contemporary events who gather here much to contemplate and study. Your conclusions certainly address the question I have asked here repeatedly, which is: Why?

I'm reminded of the warning issued by 19th century British statesman, Lord Acton, who said (to the effect of): Power corrupts; absolute power corrupts absolutely.

If, among them, the various families you describe are a political (and economic) oligopoly which is in the process, essentially, of taking absolute power over the American experiment, would it not be surprising that this absolute power is absolutely corrupted?

It seems to me that part of the genius of the Founders was that they understood the dangers of absolute power and created a democratic republic with broad protections against the absolute powers of the ancien regime from which they had separated.

There are numerous examples: the three separate, but co-equal branches of federal government, the Electoral College, the various separations of powers among the branches, and among the federal government, the states, and the reserved powers of the people. There are many more examples in the Founders' construct.

The numerous attacks we see today on the powers reserved to the people are a good example of the misunderstanding by the Absolute Power (aka the Families, the Kleptocracy, the Elites, the Deep State, the Conspirators, the Uniparty) of the architecture of our constitution.

Witness the continuing assault on the People's rights of freedom of speech and assembly, rights of religious freedom, rights of privacy, and freedom from search, and freedom to bear arms. These assaults are all the indicia of a corrupted authoritarian regime seeking absolute power.

I suppose the good news, if there is any, is that a corrupt and despotic regime intent on obtaining absolute power will -- must -- inevitably and ultimately fail, because the People will inevitably and ultimately rise up and overthrow it.

This has been the fate of most, if not all, despotic regimes in history, hasn't it? I guess one of the questions which will be addressed along the way is:

      At what cost?

    2. Esperanto, very well expostulated.
Fits right in with my thoughts:

      1. All of history is the story of powerful families fighting for power and money.
      2. Currently not enough jobs in DS for all the greedy sons and daughters, so they fight over what's available - and the dirtiest fighters win.

I have read that the only way out now is for a Caesar to appear, which you seem to be hinting at with the military seizing power.

  7. The IC's more industrious activity is probably much closer to ANTIFA than a syndicate. That level of organization leads to too much evidence in the hands of too many people.

Simple graymail between the two sides prevents exposure but lends to tongue in cheek cooperation.

I will be curious to see if Sharyl Attkisson's case gains ground with her naming Rosenstein as a defendant. I'm VERY concerned about the creditably of her current witness but I think the description of Rosenstein's small group of dirty tricksters is a more accurate scenario.

No one needs to know what they do or how, only that they get results and everyone knows to leave them be.

If you are suggesting that the complexity of the Conspiracy required alot of co-ordination, you are undoubtedly right. If you are suggesting that this was too much co-ordination, I'm not so sure.

I addressed this level of co-ordination last year, with some feeble attempts at humor. See:

I think what happened to Trump was massive in size but over all pretty small historically. My first post(s) here a year or so ago was mostly about Barr / Durham and how there was no way they were going to do anything but bury what transpired. The "legal conspiracy" case that could be brought it is simply to embarrassing. (but for more than one reason)

At that time I was pretty good at quoting the Acronyms but starting with Mike Rodgers the CIA, Halper, Flynn, ONA, etc I could just about quote every agency and every part / piece that was known publicly thru the Ukrainian twins saga. My point was there were THOUSANDS involved but they danced around the known laws intentionally where foreign vs domestic came into play.

If we ever see a "Durham report" that's what much of it will say. All improper conduct but not illegal.

But I think Trump was an exception where you had all of the individual small groups coming out of the wood work. We saw public exposure from every 3rd piddily un-IC related agency plotting.

IC-wise it shined a light on the IC and showed how much of the collected data was not controlled but accessible by tens of thousands scattered amuck. I think that was developed to be that way on purpose though to hide something much bigger.

That's why I say more like a political ANTIFA thugs than a IC syndicate. Thousands of random idiots with access to things they shouldn't have.

Where larger conspiracy comes into play with the IC I would say is the contractors, the ones few could name and most have never heard of (Scitor by example) syphoning data out of mass collection (signals + others) for their own purposes out side of agency controls makes more sense. Few understand the value of that data product and what can be accomplished with it. Also NONE of that has surfaced in the Trump saga as we all know.

Example and hypothetical but... If you knew what Apple, Google, (name any blue chip) was doing before their board made it public you could glean millions in trades. Hence a contractor with that access could make themselves self funded in a hurry via public stocks. The "contract" dollars paid by the government would be peanuts. That lets you build a shadow network well outside of anything of the piddily public stuff. That's a network the Government wishes it had, but will never be.

That's why I say much of the Trump saga was intentionally pushed garbage. I believe most of that was cover for the actual spying most can't fathom. Fusion GPS, Chris Steel, etc were all false leads / public political distractions, gobbly gook that could be publicly thrown about to cause damage but avoids all of the uncomfortable conversations of having every text, call, email and private conversation made.

We saw hints of the bigger picture via guys like Rand Paul who came out and said it was every person and every campaign... I believe that but not from the Page Mccabe IC clan or the Rosenstein / Muller covers.

The intelligence subject gets mixed up and confused between the deep state official Government talk and the larger danger of private contractor entities.

Historically with the public knowledge out there in so many well known IC related blunders you may as well toss a lawn dart at any conspiracy and be 100% correct 9 out of 10 times.

  9. Good read Mark. Excellent stuff and analysis. I'm reminded of Bluto Barr's cheery reception for Rosenstein's retirement ceremony. How apropos at the time.

I'm also reminded by the Spygate conspiracy to dispute Patel and Ratcliffe from the Intelligence community. As suggested, the harm would be to the National security especially the military. I dither with this to suggest it would do harm to the security and military arrangements we have with other countries. In other words, the Australia's, U.K's, the Italians amongst others would be "thrown under the bus" publicly hence the relationship would be injured potentially impacting the need to rely on others in case of future conflict. To me, that was the Nakasone's, Haspel's and others hedge.

As far as the fake Mueller report, throwing shade at the Manafort's, Roger Stone's amongst others was a facade. I've said this before and as you point out Mark everyone knew the obvious.

The Deep State is dark, powerful, and aligned to the Dem's agenda as you suggest. Two paths forward. One, the electorate as you suggest but for more than 1 term. Two, something much worse than a 9/11 that will create the right amount of skepticism and uproar that the I.C. will have no choice but to come clean. This 2nd path will be much more costly (as Cassander asks). Much more costly.

I'll read Sundance later tonight... it's been a long day.

  10. We are kind of dancing around the obvious.

There is a reason why the military is being further purged with the ex-military/ police being vilified along with Republicans and conservatives.

I am not sure we can truly vote our way out.

    1. Yes, the military is the obvious, remaining threat to the Syndicate. Now that Trump has been effectively sidelined (for now, as an immediate threat) only the military has the power to end the machinations of the various crime families. There is simply no one else or institution that can overcome the combined resources of the Deep State, Uniparty, Big Media, Big Tech, Big Corp, and Military Industrial Complex. So we are naturally seeing a continuation of the purge in the lower military ranks that Obama conducted in the top ranks before. The Syndicate doesn't need to win over the ranks to their side, only to purge anyone minded to resist or object to the depredations on the Constitution. The DS and Uniparty much prefers to create their own loyal cadres of troops/ police/ paramilitary/ People's militia. BLMTIFA is likely an experiment in thos direction. But arming up federal agencies with military grade equipment is another approach no doubt.

Undoubtedly there will be many patriotic members of the armed forces that the Syndicate will miss in this first, big net purge. They're not worried as long as the patriots keep their heads down and mouths shut. Eventually these patriots will either exit in disgust or be found and drummed out. The Pentagon is steadily moving toward more drones, more stand off weaponry, more robotics, and fewer trigger pullers. They aim to shrink the overall personnel to a size they can effectively control and ensure absolute loyalty while using their LEO paramilitaries and street gangs to handle unrest.

I'd love to be proven wrong and even hysterical on these points but events all trend this way and it makes sense that the Syndicate is genuinely worried after January 6th (no matter how clumsy and mostly innocent it was). They are acting as if they have a very small window in which to buttress their seizure of power and prevent any counterrevolution from forming.
