FBI Agents Association To Honor Fauci

They're giving him their "Distinguished Service Award." Read about it here. Not The Onion. And, No, I don't belong.

“We are honored to present our highest award to Dr. Fauci and thrilled that Director Wray will join us and speak ..." yada yada yada.

  1. Was unware of the FBIAA. $26.00 annual membership fee of 1-time $250 fee. Hhhhmmm...

Perhaps Director Wray will say a few kinds words to the honored D. Fauci no less for his unsure, wandering leadership.

  2. Gen Flynn has been granted a full pardon.

    1. It saddens me to hear that. Should be a lesson--don't plead guilty if you're not. I know that's easy to say ...

    2. Disappointing. Couldn't he wait?
Does this timing allow Flynn to help in any way that would be meaningful now?

    3. I wonder what the backstory is? What card was 'Judge' Sullivan conceivably holding? Notwithstanding obstacles. Flynn was a lock to win before the Supreme Court...

    4. I wondered about that too. I had assumed that if it was dismissed without prejudice he'd appeal and win. Would a Biden DoJ have tried to prosecute? I mean, really?

    5. "Would a Biden DoJ have tried to prosecute?"

In a word, Yes. They just stole an election, so they think. If they indeed steal the election they will be certain they are the Law. They will do as they please and the first thing for their ilk is loose ends and pay-back.

    6. I assume from your comments that you have not followed the Flynn Affair in detail. As to "don't plead guilty," if the FBI and your own attorneys lie to you and tell you your prior statements conflict rendering it a process crime and they threaten to prosecute your son, then you likely plead guilty even if your gut tells you otherwise. As for the card Sullivan holds, it is at least, one, the process itself which he drags out interminably and two, the need for your star attorney, the Kracken Whisperer, to be engaged elsewhere on God's work. And Trump may very well need Flynn's inside knowledge right now.

    7. Yeah, you're right. I didn't follow the Flynn case at all, but I thought I'd just shoot my mouth off anyway.

    8. What’s with all the Flynn/Sidney/Mark bashers?

    9. It saddens me to hear of Flynn's pardon. It shouldn't have been what itait was and is leaving a very bad standing in the DC appeals circuit.

It's probably better for him in the end, I just would have preferred to see it run to ground for the sake of the judicial process.

    10. I'd hoped to see it run to ground, for the sake of the prospect, that Flynn would be a hugely credible witness in Durham's trials of DS perps.
I recall much talk here, on how that juicy prospect was much of what Sullivan's handlers were trying to forestall.
Does this pardon mean, that Durham is giving up on any such trials?

    1. For his distinguished service, obviously. Is there something you don't get about that? :-(

    2. A pair of kneepads (spray painted gold) for services rendered to the DS.

Hey, they requested permission from the copyright holders of the Order of Lenin but it didn't come back approved in time and they already had the back room of the Denny's reserved and couldn't get their deposit back. They had to go with what they had.

    4. In 2018 the New York City Bar Association gave Loretta Lynch an Honorary Membership. To keep the ranks of the association in equilibrium, I resigned (after 40 years dues-paying membership).

Too bad you can't resign from the FBIAA, Mark...

    5. I did when I retired. Dropped my membership. Actually may have done so a bit earlier, not clear. It seems they did something earlier to P me O.

Obviously Purple Hearts are viewed as a growth demographic. Can never have enough potential dues paying members. Sacrifice to defeat Eastasia must go forward, except during months with an "R" in them during which Big Guy Joe will designate Eurasia a greater threat.

    1. Right. Any defendant should be able to assume that he won't be victimized by a politically corrupt judge.

    2. The very first move by the Harris/Biden admin will be full throat, unabashed, political trials. Don't be surprised to see Flynn hauled back on new charges. Possibly perjury. Sullivan would be proud to testify for the prosecution. If Powell couldn't get Flynn off without a pardon then I hold little hope for her "Kraken".

    3. Tom S -- the rule of law is dead. We don't need a dead Kraken to tell us, the complete, abject, silent aquiescence of the DOJ to this fraudulant election is answer enough. What in the hell is Barr's justification for letting absolutely every last Dem/left corruptocrat slide? To de-politicize the DOJ? There will be a dear price to pay for giving up the law.

    4. Anyone blaming Sidney Powell for Judge Sullivan’s not doing what he should have done and dismissing the case (the DoJ - the prosecutor - had already done so; the appellate court effectively said “do it” and “with dispatch") clearly doesn’t understand what happened. Sidney didn’t fail General Flynn. Judge Sullivan did…and he failed the entire United States of America’s judicial system.

    5. For myself I do not "blame" Powell for this mess. She accomplished all that following the law would allow. Ten years ago she would have prevailed handily. Unfortunately everything has a shelf life, including the Rule of Law, when there is no moral compass in the ship-of-state binnacle. We didn't recognize the depth and breadth of our corruption and so, as per Solzhenitsyn, "If...if...We didn't love freedom enough. And even more – we had no awareness of the real situation.... We purely and simply deserved everything that happened afterward.”

    Yes, you probably guessed right...

  10. Isn't that interesting...

    from Schweikart the historian:

    17) If, and big if, Trump succeeds, the turning point of this campaign will have occurred at . . .

    Gettysburg.

    18) In 1863, don't forget that despite a massive victory at Gettysburg, there was over a year of very hard war left, and the deal wasn't really sealed until 1864.
